- The restaurant we asked to photograph this time was Tsuruya Shokudo in Fujisawa.
The restaurant is popular for its old-fashioned tanmen, Chinese noodles, fried rice, and other orthodox Machichuwa cuisine, and at lunchtime, the seats were almost completely filled with local customers.
The restaurant still has a Showa-era atmosphere, somewhat nostalgic, but the kitchen is well cleaned and very clean, and it is hard to believe that it has been used for many years.
I had the tanmen, which had a gentle flavor that seemed to reflect the politeness of the owner in the food.
I would like to go back to this restaurant if it were nearby.

My half Chinese Granny lived in Kowloon walled city from 1967-1991 I used to spend two weeks every summer with her and we would eat from a place there that made the best fish balls and a pork hotpot that I loved so much . I was 14-18 in those years what an amazing time it was 😄
肉野菜炒め、山盛りですね。餃子、美味しそうですね。ラーメン、野菜が多いのがいいですね。チャーハン、美味しそうですね。あんかけラーメン、野菜がたっぷりでいいですね。天津ラーメン、いいですね。サンラータンメン、美味しそうですね。揚げ焼きそば、美味しそうですね。昔よく食べたので懐かしいですね。
普通のラーメンが異様に美味しそう。食べなくても美味いのが伝わる。
きっと全部美味いと思いますが、普通のラーメンが食べたい^_^

Why not use fresh shrimp 🦐 in your egg fried rice instead of sliced fish cake which does not really give the authentic seafood taste ?
