I think people buying 10pm for the art work and the cabinet as decoration… I have few pandora boxes… definitely better than this if counting how many games.. I would buy this if price is right. For me, 399$ is good. But as inflation and shipping cost now day.. I don’t think that is going to happen soon…
This cab was a hard sell for me, but I'm glad I got it. Lots of great games, and a surprising amount of variety even with the huge amount of fighting games. Brings back fond memories of me and my friends walking to our local Walmart every day during the summer to play Samurai Shodown!!!
I agree it’s got a decent variety and all the Neo Geo heavy hitters like Metal Slug, KOF, Fatal Fury etc. That’s a great memory there - Samurai Showdown at the local Walmart!!
They had a livestream with Bill from Unico (on the Unqualified Critics channel) and they mentioned that the new wave of MVSX cabinets will have better buttons and joysticks, plus other additions, and the price will stay the same. I think I will wait until the holidays before buying this. Looks nice!

No denying that this cab just looks amazing. Tbh, I didn't play a lot of neo geo games back in the day, I think I played King of Monsters a few times. It would definitely look awesome in my game room tho =-)
Honestly think I’ll be getting one of these once I get moved into a new place. Just seems like a no brainer for a good cab especially if you have friends over frequently to play multiplayer.

That’s a tough one my friend as I LOVE both the MVSX and the iiRcade. If you are willing to spend $700 I’d go iiRcade if you only have space for one more. The MVSX at $500 is 100% worth it though so try and get both my man!
Jason, do you speculate they’ll release a revision to the MVSX in the near future, possibly increasing the screen size to 19”, perhaps putting it inline with the iircade?
@@jayrod377 they actually did a revision just recently with the mvsx, upgrading the speakers and also the buttons with all the new units. That’s a great question as far as the screen goes, Unico just showed off a new and improved monitor this past weekend at a trade show but I’m not sure if it’s specifically for the MVSX.
Also one of my wish list cabs to get at a later date(as in the Mvsx cab). You plan on getting the T2 and/or Tron cabs to add as part of your collection if they're released? And as always great video on a top fav cab that is the Mvsx!

Man I really liked it but I ended up selling when I got a 3 sided stand up cocktail with 4500 games which included all of these. I just felt it was lacking in the button and controller department

Dos shock troopers still have the to many spiye slow down?On my mame, some old games that had native slow downs ,I over clock very slightly, plus matched refresh but like meatal slug is exstreamly hard to down the blur on my crt with couple other new weird upscaling pixels and it is not my mame or cpu.Rest neo runs 100% on my crt with perfect pixels match. I had to over clock just slight game cpu to get rid of original native to many pixels studder to full smooth game.
Great cab! And it’s awesome value for the money in today’s market. Neo Turf Masters is unfortunately not on there. That’s one of my favorite Neo Geo titles too. The only golf game on the MVSX is Top Players Golf.
I got Mine. I love it. The sticks are ok. But Im gonna swap the buttons. If Unico were to upgrade anything. I would upgrade the buttons. They dont compliment the package they put together! Regardless. Great (edit "3/4") CAB!

I ended up passing on the A1UP pinball. I almost pulled the trigger on the Star Wars pinball. But I think I’m going to wait for Arcade1Up’s next wave of pinball to see if they work out some of the issues. I’m also hoping they increase the playfield size and add more tables to each machine.
I really like the Star Wars table myself, but the Arcade1up pinballs did recently take a huge price jump from around $600 to almost $900 at most retailers. I'm glad I got mine, it's well worth what they were previously charging in my opinion, but $900 is a bit much. I'd say check out the Legends Ultimate pinball, it's a bit cheaper, and you do get a bigger playfield, more games and the ability to add even more.
I just picked up the Star Wars A1UP pinball right before the price hike, and I love it! It’s a lot of fun and has seen a lot of use. $550 (the old price) was a fair price for it, but I can’t really recommend it at the new $850 price. If you see it for 550 anywhere though, jump on it

Oh man King of Monsters was great back in the day! I think the MVSX at 499 is a lot of bang for the buck with Arcade1up up to $600 or over per cab. 👍

HyloX is still available in fact a newer game pack just came out with the HyloX hack. Absolutely love this cabinet

You are just running all this off a few outlets right? Any tripping of the switches or anything?
Yeah just running all of it off 5 or 6 outlets with surge protectors. No issues with tripping switches or anything 👍
How can I tell if the one I just ordered off Amazon is a Wave 2 when I get it?

Yeah one of the downsides of the MVSX is the buttons and sticks aren’t the greatest. I might swap them out on mine soon.

There’s a way but it’s pretty difficult. I think even with the 50 included games it’s a good buy at this price point.
