Funny enough my most personally played is killer instinct. when adults come over they gravitate to my yoga flame and kids always go to the tmnt.

Hi Jason you have solved the quite possibly best Arcade1up mod for all previous Gen1 and 2 small size 3/4 cabinet owners. Instead of replacing these cabs with newer taller "deluxe" models, people can take the booster inspiration to upgrade all old gen cabs to new generation. You are a hero.

My parents started dropping me off at the Arcade in 1981. It was a dedicated stand alone Arcade right down the road from us and it was glorious. This would be my "spare bedroom" for the next three years as I got to see the release of sooo many new games as they came in. I have a picture of myself playing Kangaroo the week it came out, wearing my addidas and casio calculator watch. I was worn out with Arcades by school year of 1985 though and with video games in general (I found out about girls). I barely played the NES we had. I would not play video games for the next 40 years ..... Now, like most people, I'm yearning for it again. I'm currently building a time-machine. Cool review. I just ordered one of these from ebay.
@@adamwest3266 the arcade era of the 80’s and 90’s were some awesome times! I remember being dropped off at the mall where they had a big arcade and I’d be there for hours playing Street Fighter, TMNT, Golden Axe, X-men and all those great games from that era.
@@3rdFloorArcade I had to look those games up. hehe. So 89 to early 90's was that era you're speaking of...Yea I remember walking into the few arcades left at that time and ofcourse they had a new look and feel from what they were. Too me, they were not the same. That core late 70's, early 80's design aesthetic was already being replaced and updated by that time. It just wasn't the same but it became something for the new kids coming along like yourself. Good stuf. Good memories.
it feels like it will be difficult to rotate the showcase cards once you snap them in without prying them out and maybe damaging the foam. any tips? thank you, great video
@@mbrunner22 the showcase cards are much easier to take in and out than you would think. Just press on the back of the foam and they will come out easy with no damage to the foam or the slab. Thanks for checking the video out 👍

@@antiWhiteism777 it’s $499 without the stand currently on Amazon. It’s a better deal I think with the stand. Games are emulation.

If you have the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Arcade1up cabinet, then you don't need the Marvel vs. Capcom 1 Arcade1up cabinet.

The Marvel vs. Capcom 1 and 2 Arcade1up arcade cabinets look awesome! Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will be coming soon to PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC in late 2024. But, here is the catch: if Capcom gives Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection Arcade Classics the Capcom ID/QR code treatment just like they did with Street Fighter 6, and if Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will not keep track of your online win and loss records like the Arcade1up versions of Marvel vs. Capcom 1 and 2 does, then I will not buy Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Colection: Arcade Classics in the future! Capcom shot themselves in the foot back when they created Capcom ID and they shoved Capcom ID and QR codes down us Capcom fans' throats!

There was a red button on the original Rave Racer cabinet which I can't see anywhere on the 1up machine. Was that one omitted? I remember it to be very important, I think it said "shut up bitch!" or something. Well... I get back to gaming, since there's a lot of racin' ahead!

I totally wanted this table, but it was out of my reach, at the time. A couple of years on, I did get the Pong cocktail cabinet. Having a lot of fun with it, and eventually put it on an 8" riser. Might go a tad higher, still. Maybe one day I'll be able to get the pub table. Best way to play War Lords, for sure. LOL Thanks for the review. Sorry I'm late seeing it. LOL

@@XR1000 I have since realized that most street fighter 2 kits back in the day was just a street fighter 2 board and a tiny graphic. So yes it is accurate. But for me it's a little underwhelming it would have been cool to have a full size graphic with all of the characters. But there is always aftermarket kits.
@@darkcosmos88 yeah I feel you. The after markets are pretty decent. My units are stuck side by side so I’m not to too worried. Personal choice end of the day - some like it to look like origionals, others like like to add. Once its lifted 4 inches and modded with better marquee, the unit is my favourite looking after star wars.

Oh, wow, they have the Barkley ROM? That was some kind of unicorn back in the day. I think very few arcades had the release that had Barkley in the roster because they didn't have the licensing fully sorted out and had to swap him for someone else in later releases.
Barkley one of my favorite players to use. All around good player and can both do the great dunks and shoot threes in this.

I sold it about six months ago. It was working like new when I got rid of it. The guns are definitely on the cheap side, I was pretty careful with those.
Who wants to pay scalpers on ebay $300-$1000 for a PS2 original Xbox Sega Dreamcast when you can buy the arcade 1 up that comes with the arcade rom I own all of the marvel Vs capcom 2 on every console but I bought them from retail stores now I bought the arcade 1 up a year ago I was surprised that the consoles wasn’t the arcade version I’m glad I don’t need to unlock all the characters

Hey man, I have three questions about the cabinet of this game. 1) Will this cabinet by chance have the X-Men Training Room stage for those who want to practice their skills in this game? 2) Will this Cabinet have available alternative stages of the same stages that were in the console versions of this game, such as Ruby Heart's ship but at night? 3) In this cabinet you can deactivate the time of 99, 60 and 30 seconds to literally not have a time to finish the fight and so that you can be there as long as you want, for hours so to speak?

street fighter 2 legacy esition for 380 dollars is worth it?
I would go with the Yoga Flame or Shinku Hadoken over that one. Newer and upgraded machines over that original SF2 Legacy.
