When you get the water block echo it's pretty busted too. Also allowing you to go up and around walls. Also letting you drown enemies by binding them and walking them into the water block.
Wow, this Zelda is turning out to be as vicious as BotW/TotK Link was. Think of all of the bokoblins and other monsters she can kill in a number of cruel ways.
I made the biggest blunder today. I accidentally bought links awakening instead of eachoes of wisdom. Luckily i also had the physical version so i can sell it. But yeah hahaha
Just learned you can bind to the techtite automation to recreate the totk rocket shield. And if you bind it to you you can hold it in place and move it while it makes big powerful explosions
Good thing I saw this video. I had no idea you could climb walls like that. There were several spots where I go frustrated because I couldn't reach a spot with the trampoline
you can get pretty much anywhere with a combination of the bed, trampoline, box and the fake tree, not as easy but it's more fun to build a little structure imo
i will use this method. i usually am a by the book kind of player and rarely use exploits to speedrun but this is not a technical exploit as it was intended by the game engine.
Funnily enough, I recognised how crazy strandtula(?) is (most of those sidescrolling 2D sections it clears on its own), but I didn't think to use this fella in the overworld for movement...but at the same time, I got a lot of mileage out of him, because for a good while, he was my combat echo of choice...now I feel kinda silly because one of the reasons I was using him was because it had an easy time getting around, I just never thought to let it take me with it XD ...then again, beat the game yesterday without a notable place that I wasn't able to get to, so not much was lost
Another fun little side note, they are hyper aggressive (though not very strong) allies. If there's a mass of beetles, i send the spider to wipe them all out almost immediately.
I like how they didn't give us another botw a 3rd time in a row but still gave people freedom to basically go and do whatever they want with enough creative like in botw so in the end everyone wins
The climbing methods are rather nuts. The nice thing about the Crawltula that beats the water is you aren't tied to Tri's limits bar the Crawltula echo itself.
Most busted echo is the cloud. With the spider you still need walls, the cloud lets you basically just fly freely and infinitely. Only down side is that you have to wait till mid-game to get it.
On my first playthrough, I just got the tornado guy from the desert. Then I place a bed or a shrub an then get on top. Use tornado on the edge of what im standing on and it sends it flying with you on it. I used this to cross many gaps and get to areas that I shouldn't have been early game.
Also the crows are actually teally good they are cheap and they spawn ruppies from enemies. So having a bunch if them around while you explore is a great way to farm extra money.
Yeah the spider’s so broken. I was exploring, saw the huge cliff face that was the Hebra Mountains and used it to climb to the top. It was an interesting journey and I actually summited the top and found some awesome monsters that I now have the echoes for. Sadly there was a ridiculously overpowered enemy near the top that I was nowhere near ready to face. Hopefully I’ll get it when I’m actually supposed to be up there.
make sure you aren't using the yellow one (I think it's called strandtula?) that one will shoot a web up for you to climb but only works if there's a ceiling above you
This echo is truly broken. It took away the challenge of figuring out how to climb places. In dungeons you can use it to get over gaps by having it climb up to the ceiling. I wish it came later in the game instead or it had random climbing direction like the birds.
@@smithychris8537 that's the point of the game. there's no one intended solution lmao. if me and many others got it done with a bed why can't it be another solution too
How broken this one becomes is down entirely to how you use it, honestly. Yes, you COULD use it to skip vast swaths of places like Death Mountain, but then you'd not only be skipping a lot of adventures & learning experience, you'd also likely be skipping a lot of collectibles that would be quite useful to you, that you'd have gotten had you resisted the temptation & explored the paths already laid out for you to use. Moderation is key, players. Use your powers responsibly.
There’s no way they intended for this echo not to have some kind of cooldown. It just keeps climbing. I revealed the entire map with one dungeon under my belt using this thing. 😭
I let my friend play for a little bit. They got upset because they tried the acorn finding game and the spider wouldnt crawl up the walls due to all the enemies
My favorite echo combo (i just finished early game and am in mid game) is platboom and trampoline. You can get so much vertical distance it’s not even funny
Dude you can just get the other spider that strings from the ceiling and it'll just kill that one really quick too it hits the ceiling spider and then flips upside down other than the ceiling spider just kills it
While this echo can make you go everywhere, it's not recommended to do so. By using it to climb trees and mountains you would end up missing several places that contains really useful stuff, so breaking the game with thie echo is not recommended. I prefer to explore the world in the old way.
I dont know what i’m doing wrong, IS NOT WORKING AT ALL. Have the mon, and im bindin with it but when i go next to something to climb it just dont go up. Anyone knows why?
In addition to what the other person said, it will only go in a straight line as the FIRST thing it does, after that it will start going in random directions. So you have to be pretty quick with facing the wall you wanna climb, placing it in front of you, binding, and then holding R. If the spider hits a very different angle, like flat ground at the top of the wall, it starts random movements, so careful of that too.
too bad you can't control where it moves when you bind and follow it. Also, when you get to the Eternal Woods, follow the hoofprints in the mud....trust me, but be ready for a fight

Omg I forgot you can drown them
Bind is pretty broken too. Any enemy that can't fly or float. I drop them down the eternal pit of doom or into a pond. I do that too.
@@pokelynke8232Even enemies that can fly, I just bind them and have a firing squad of spear moblins take them out.

The game cover is similar. So yeah
This is why reading is important.
If you can afford to keep it, it’s also worth the play. Good remake and the dungeon maker gives it added value.
Yup, I uncovered the whole map and all outside warp points right after the first dungeon. It’s insane.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of working as intended
Thanks for the tip philly
Ty for watching!
Now I want to get the game more
My favorite echo is the water block lol. I also really love the chomfin, wish I could use it more
This was one of the first echoes I found out of the gate and I immediately tried the bind ability with it and discovered how to break the game haha
Did not know that thanks!
Glad to help!
Thanks! Didn't know you can bind echoes.
Most busted echo is the cloud. With the spider you still need walls, the cloud lets you basically just fly freely and infinitely.

I consider the Wolfos echo to be a godsend for early game combat. The thing is so damn fast at dispatching enemies
Got a lot of mileage out of the ReDeae echo. I laugh hysterically every time a bunch of flying enemies drop like a rock. 😂
This is definitely gonna be used in speed running
oh 100% haha
@PhillyBeatzU I can imagine the complete time will be like 1 hour or something the now
On my first playthrough, I just got the tornado guy from the desert. Then I place a bed or a shrub an then get on top. Use tornado on the edge of what im standing on and it sends it flying with you on it. I used this to cross many gaps and get to areas that I shouldn't have been early game.
The peahat has been my ultimate weapon in boss battles due to its spinning blade attack. Get a few hits in, wait for the boss to reform, repeat.
You can even skip the entire water dungeon
Also the crows are actually teally good they are cheap and they spawn ruppies from enemies. So having a bunch if them around while you explore is a great way to farm extra money.
This echo is pretty much my active echo for 90% of the time I’m traveling and exploring. The remaining 10% is Buzz Blob or a flying echo for combat.
Zelda joining Miles in Beyond the spidervese
Coming in 2027
I got 100% yesterday on the game using that echo, Crawltula is awesome
Don't forget its also 1 of the best echo to kill mobs
This gives me scary flashbacks of the tarantulas in Animal Crossing
I hate spiders, but I use that echo so much it should be a crime.
Oh snap, I just got this spider guy and didn't know this, was stacking beds trying to get that heart lol
You can do same with your shark echo and guide it with some meat to get through strong water currents
Started using that spider as soon as i got it, just bypass everything lol
But how do you control it? It just goes wherever randomly, most of the time not even where you are trying to go
Until it sees an enemy 20 feet away and chooses violence.
Idk who discovered it first Zackscottgames or you but yay
