@@flmason Wow, I never noticed. I just gave a close listen with headphones and I can hear my pick against the strings. That tells me I didn't turn my voice mic all the way down in Post and they aren't synced perfectly. Hence, the chorus sound. I use 2 Sure mics on the amp and one lavalier mic on me. The only thing I do in post-processing is turn down my lavalier mic all the way when the guitar is played. Apparently, I accidentally left it up slightly. Very good ears on your part. I totally missed that. Total mistake on my part. Thanks for catching this! 👍
A 220 grit sanding sponge on the side of the neck, angled towards the strings. 5 to 10 seconds on each side and fret sprout is gone. Picked up a 66 classic just like that one maybe a year ago. Liked it so much I got a couple Indio strats, a tele and an Indio DLX plus LP. All of them under $100 except the 66 classic which was $105 and worth every penny to me. Sweet guitar.
Yes sir! It's not a GREAT guitar, but it's not bad either. It's certainly better than old budget guitars from decades ago. And, not to go on about a stupid case, but for under $100 it's hard to believe. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
Yes, I was quite surprised by the sound. For under $100, I say Indio all day long. However, if the Indio would go close to $150, I would say Epi for under $200, strictly for investment purposes. 10 years from now an Epi, I'm assuming, with be much easier to sell. Not a bold statement. Right now it's the black Idios that are $97.48. Their regular retail is $129.
I paid 130ish. I forget how much setup I did…..but it’s one of my best players at the moment, out of 20 electrics. Super low action, no buzz. Had I know I’d be playing it so much I would have ordered black ;)

I got a blue tele from them..for $100 shipped.. set up and with a good gigbag...i love it..string thru body bridge or back loaded...both..sounds great and plays great.
I got the Indio 66 dlx. It has a few cosmetic issues and I personally don't like the headstock shape. Other than that, it holds tune, plays and sounds great like an Epi but at half the cost.
Hmmm....nice light poplar body. I modded the shit out of my $79 Retro Classic and it's one of my favorite guitars. If these things had jumbo or medium jumbo fretwire they'd rule.
That's it! The ones they put on these seem surprisingly good quality. It's just a knob, but you touch all the time and on cheapo guitars one of the first places they skimp.
I really liked the gigbag,and I like their logo,these guitars are coming from Indio California before that china.I got a Helix Stratocaster forme them.They advertise that Indio has a pro Luther that sets up their guitars,bullcrap.One of the pups wasn't soldered The frets stuck up,the pup adjust ment screws were drilled crooked,All the hardware had loose screws,chips in the finish where they overtightend the switch screws,I should have sent it back but Indio gave me a partial refund and after my setup and fixes,it's a fast easy neck and it sounds and looks good

Fender '68 Deluxe Reverb. A little high-end for the guitar, but it sounds good in the Monoprice amp too.

Sounds much better than I expected. I like the headstock shape, If I only had two to choose from, and Epi or Indio, it would be Indio.

You should use a cheap sanding block. It will get rid of the sharp edge of the fretboard at the same time. It is quicker and easier than files.
