OMG that looks amazing!! As a Lego fanatic as a child, it was my dream to one day have a huge Lego city. Alas it never happened. However it obviously happened for this guy.
Maybe there is a way to install a microcam in one of the minifigures and watching city life from a figures perspective.. imagine if you would be able to move the figure.
This is a beautiful layout, Alex. Some of your early 90's sets, like the Airport Monorail, really make me nostalgic for when I had my own Lego city, between the ages of 9 and 14. I'm 38 now, and would love to get back into building, but the sets are even more expensive now, and I don't have the room. It's an itch that I will have to scratch somehow, but I haven't figured out a way yet.

I saw that old Shell service station. My first set as a kid was #6378 from 1986. I still have it and rebuilt it a couple of years ago. It took a long time to find all the parts and i had to order some of the missing ones in. Brought back so many great memories though. I loved that as a kid and pretty much spent hours every day playing with that. We didn't have a lot of money growing up, so I thought that was the pinnacle of Lego enjoyment.
A great tour around your amazing city. Yours ws one of the first LEGO Channels I found when I came out of my dark ages a couple of years ago. I've enjoyed watching your city evolve over that time. Keep up the great work! 👏👏
This is absolutely outstanding, I'm sure you wont see this comment but your 90's section was so nostalgic for me, I too was a child in the 90's, and many of those sets I recognise from my own collection, which is all in boxes at my childhood home. My Son is now getting into Lego which is reigniting my love of Lego too (it's becoming an obsession again). Your city is a huge inspiration, thank you for sharing with everyone.
I see all comments posted to my channel and do my best to respond. It sounds to me like you will need to go get those sets and bust them out again. Thanks for checking it out and good luck!
What an INCREDIBLE city!! I am just a Lego newbie, but I recognize some of your sets. My brother had a pretty cool train layout in the basement, but nothing like this!! I just watched your review of Ninjago City; and I think you sold me on that set. Thanks so much for sharing your passion with us, it was fun to see your son helping. What stories he will have to tell.
Hey, I'm new here but I wanted to say I loved your city! I'm in the process of moving into my own space for my city and have been watching lots of videos to get ideas. I'll definitely check back to see what you do.
Those MOCs are super cool man! I dreamed of once having acity like this, but was forced to sell my Lego collection 4 years ago. This an awesome city, your kids are really lucky to have a Lego city in their basement!! Keep it the great content man!!
I have been been watching your videos for the last 3 1/2 hours. Which is really strange because I’m a 59-year-old woman and I never played with Legos before three months ago when my grandson turned 3. I stumbled across your channel while looking for ideas to combine five different Lego DUPLO Train Sets together. (It’s actually their Steam Train and Cargo Train with three added accessory sets. I am blown away by the complexity and your eye for detail of your Lego City. For nearly 40 years I have been making extremely elaborate wedding cakes that serve anywhere from 4 to 4000. Most have to be assembled on site, because of their size. My new mission in life is to create a Lego Cake. I think we will have to celebrate my grandson turning 3 1/2 because I don’t think I can wait until next year. (Grandma’s too excited!)

Your wedding cakes sound amazing and I would love to see the result of a LEGO cake from a real professional. I don't have any experience with DUPLO bricks, but the concept here is still very similar. Hopefully you got some good ideas from me as well as from other channels. I believe your grandson is having a great start to life. My father was a toy train collector and had problems with spiders on display units making webs. @@alexnunes Well, I was just wondering if you are buying Lego or generic tracks to expand... and if generic then where from? Since Lego tracks are short and very expensive, I've ordered 2 generic sets on Amazon yesterday for my 4 years old son. If it will work then I'll continue to buy market sets on Amazon to make things affordable.
I can't help to admire you spending all the time and effort building this cosmopolitan of Lego, and thank you so much for spending the time for showing around and sharing with us!!! Greatly appreciated!!!

Awesome city Alex! I had a lego city back in the mid to late nineties and had that same airport shuttle set. Nice to see one still running. I also recognized a few other structures such as the fire station, police station, emergency medical building and pizza shop. I had a freight train set that ran on the 9 volt transformer too.

@@alexnunes Thanks, Alex! I meant train tracks. Where are you buying them from? 'Lego' track sets (e.g. 60205) are short and hell expensive...)
@@alexl7996 I have purchased a few expansions. Not all at once though.
AWESOME, you just made my day! 🙌🏽
I can't help to admire you spending all the time and effort building this cosmopolitan of Lego, and thank you so much for spending the time for showing around and sharing with us!!!
Greatly appreciated!!!

If you can build a mountain, you can do it 'Brick by Brick'
This gives back so much nostalgia cuz I had an iPhone 4 when I was 5 and I watched these every time
I'm not sure if I missed it, but how do you deal with dust? Also for the bumper cars, as a suggestion, you might be able to put magnets underneath? And magnets on the cars so that they follow a specific route.
