    Hi Landon and thanks for the video and so glad you got your corn planting all done. Its great to hear about all the activities and organizations that your involved with Landon, and as someone who has now retired, I can tell you it really warms my heart to know that there are still youngsters out there who know how to commit time and effort to not only advancing their own future, but helping the Ag industry keep moving forward. Thanks from Scotland

    Hi Landon! Man you sure keep busy! I want to thank you for telling the date in the beginning of your video's, it gives the viewer an idea of when you are doing things. Best of luck to you and safe travels over the next couple weeks. Thanks for the great videos too! Stay safe and healthy!

    I love seeing all the kids all the FFA kinds in Indianapolis. I have always enjoyed talking with some of them when I am downtown. Always seem to be a nice group of kids.

    It's not the awards and ribbons you get, it's the people that you meet that make all the activities worth doing. The competitors become friends, because of what y'all have in common. And when you get to a National level, you learn new things and different ways to do stuff. Or you just hang out with new people and shoot the 🐂. Either way, it's great! Good luck with the Agronomy Contest! Indy better be ready for you!👍👍

    Your lucky Troy still has an FFA. Sullivan County deleted theirs back in the sixty"s and it shows. Very few farms left operating over there today.

    Great video content again Landon. Its helpful to hear what and why you are doing things. Ok it may sound silly but not all of your viewers are farmers.

    With that corn residue left in your field, do you think it will need to be plowed next year ?

    • @payoungdairyman2910
      @payoungdairyman2910  4 месяца назад +1

      The corn residue from last year will be pretty much all gone by the time we have new residue this year.

    Hi Landon, Given that grass and weeds rob corn from the nutrients in the soil, did you spray a herbicide to kill all the grass and weeds prior to planting?

    • @payoungdairyman2910
      @payoungdairyman2910  4 месяца назад +1

      We will typically spay herbicides on as a pre-emergent. Meaning we will spray it after we plant and before it comes out of the ground.
