Frenzee teams of 4 at Weston Pools

To finish off the three-day event at Weston Pools Fishery in Oswestry a ‘teams of 4’ event took place on the Sunday on the Clay Pit lake.
The teams consisted of Frenzee Sponsored Anglers and a team from Holland who were invited to the weekend event as guests of Frenzee.
The conditions for the day were great, apart from the wind which worsened as the day went on. This combined with the depth of the lake meant a challenging day for the anglers.
We managed to get around all the anglers to let them share how their day was going. Lots of bragging rights were the order of the day for the winning team.
The combined weight on each team gave them their overall standings.
Will the superstars outwit the Youngers + Dad, or will the Pin Up Boys out do them all, or could our guests from Holland show them a thing or two?

Hi you said a few minutes in with it been so deep you wouldn't fish on bottom any reason? Would a bomb or feeder have not worked?

Hi Jay, with this lake being up to 30 feet deep, the fish will naturally come up for the bait, so most of your bait will not reach the bottom. You could fish on a bomb or feeder, but you would be missing out on so many more fish that are in the upper layers, so by fishing deep shallow you will catch much quicker. Hope this helps.

I must admit "most" angling companies that upload their videos and showcasing their products don't bother to respond to any of our angling questions even about their products which is a pretty poor what ide call "customer service" 👎... I do enjoy the watching them though especially when they are not the normal 2 minute uploads that seem to be the norm now.

Hi Neil, as youtube is primarily for allowing the world to see our videos, we do have excellent channels of communication, you can contact any of our anglers who are on social media, who will be more than willing to answer any product questions you have, alternately, you can email [e-mail] who again will be on hand to help in any way. We do try and respond to comments we see on youtube although it might not always be quick. We hope you enjoyed watching this.
