I have lots of sarees that are hands down to me from my Ammi. I have kept them in the suitcase but now I see solutions to keep them properly. Some of them are actually 50-60 years old. I myself an ardent silk saree lover, good to see this treasure of yours. I have also kept my sarees in cotton bags like you did. I keep fold n refold them for long life and enjoy the fabrics. Follow your draping styles also.
