It has become so generic...kinda scary to be honest. And even scarier, that is has become the new normal and all these other generics don't find it to be abnormal.
I mean , there is no edge at all. Where are the weirdo's, the marginalised, the poor, the quirky, the (real) artists, the pushers, the junkies. I mean we know they exist, or you should know. Have they all been pushed out. All I see are upper (middle) class colonialist whytes.
Where is the graffiti? All camera's and ads.
Where is what once made all that made the city unique? People love to claim how NY is so weird...but those are only echoes of the past.
