I was born and raised in the U.S. and even I was taken aback by the wealth on display in this video. I’m doing pretty well in life and this almost makes me feel poor 🤣🤣
I drive through this area at the start of the video (Beverly Hills) on my way to work. I'm definitely not wealthy, but not poor either. I sure do feel poor driving next to all the $200k+ cars though lol.
Really? I live in this area and find that at night there is almost no traffic, and the ease at getting around is amazing! I shop at night and wash car, etc. at night and it's so wide open I love it. Daytime can be far worse than this video shows us for traffic jams.

@Moses Moses Been to a lot of cities as well and LA is my favorite. I love the fact that it’s a anti-city city that has a bit more ethnic flavor and less Americana. Imo it’s the only American city in terms of global significance and culture that is completely out of NY’s shadow. But culturally I would say New Orleans and Miami stand out and I’m sure there a couple others that I’m forgetting. It’s more of a personal taste thing when it comes to it.

Great driving vid! The one thing I'll point out is: besides Beverly Hills, this is mostly Central LA, not Westside. Westside is the region that spans from Beverly Hills to Santa Monica.

The average 1 bedroom is 2 grand per month the average house starts at 700k an its overcrowded big time however the yr around warm temperatures its what keep millions in LA in general and you can leave LA go to the snow and never leave California .. An if it weren't for the weather and for the most part cool people I would left along time ago ..
Come to vancouver canada and you will be lucky to find a shed for 700K. Of course you also get to live in a place where it rains 10-11 months out of the year and it's almost always dark and gloomy that you almost forget there's a sun in this universe. Rent is the same. But, I'd take being homeless in LA -or any sunny place - over living in a mansion in a dark rainy place.

As a local I agree however even in these nice areas we have a lot of crime. Always carry pepper spray around and be aware of your surroundings.
