How you unlocked c and d sides ?

the d-sides are a *custom* map pack made by nameguy, c-sides are unlocked after completing all b-sides

Is it me, or the D-sides are just longer levels with C-side difficulty? After all, B-sides are typically shorter than the original levels and C-sides are rather short despite the difficulty spike they present. D-sides seem like a B-side just as long as the B-side.

you mean like a c side just as long as a b side? and kind of, but the lenght makes it more difficult to win after all, so it's an increase in general difficulty though it isn't an increase (or a really significative one) in the amount of difficulty per room maybe, but the e sides are definitely another level.

This is cool for the time. But this really really shows how far the Celeste body community has come in the last 2 years. The standards aren't the same at all. Honestly I'll probably never play even the new d-sides. The spring collab has set my standards too high

if you look at the speedrun clock it took almost 3 hours. so seeing this video was just over 10 minutes long, like 15 failed attempts per successful one. ofcourse it varies a lot from screen to screen.

theres a very precise position where you can grab and jump off the lava block quickly
