Twinsanity had a lot of stuff cut out because it was unfinished at the time, most of the stuff like "gone a bit coco" and other levels had not been done.
Ye but a lot of the concepts and design planning stuff was done or worked out. They just never got to actually making the bits. To get a finished twinsanity would be the best.
I lost about 35 - 40 lives doing the box run on this but spent roughly 10 hours just to get the gold relic! tough as nails but a fantastic level non the less

Yeah, it's quite impressive. I'd love to see them make harder versions of the levels that only appeared once throughout the game, like N.Sanity Beach, Cortex Power, Generator Room, Toxic Waste and The Lab. It would make sense seeing as how every other level in Crash 1 came in pairs.
Now THAT is how you remaster a game: you keep the glitches and tricks, you keep the same feel and don't add anything new but if it is it's something that everyone asks for or doesn't expect to get, and you make it look beautiful

Wrath of Cortex was alright and honestly I think it would really benefit from a remaster personally. Twinsanity was nice but I feel the only reason people want it because it's an incomplete game that could have had so much more if it weren't for time constraints
Hi, this is my first time watching this. I'm currently playing Crash 1, and have not finished the game yet. I'm just going through the game without caring too much for getting all the boxes and whatnot on my first play through, i will after I've defeated Dr. Neo Cortex. Because the colour of the levels on the map are Purple, does that mean I have to get the Purple Gem in this game before I can play Stormy Ascent, or just after i have defeated Dr. Neo Cortex? I am aware that this is a DLC, and i have downloaded it from the PlayStation Store.

I managed to solve the bonus round my own way; I prefer to take out the bottom bouncy crate when initially going through, but leaving two in the stack above so I can bounce off a top one to get back to the steel crates. Seems a safer jump to make.
Newhouse compared with every other level it is I'm basing this off of how many life's I lose which was 28 and getting the platinum relic which I was to retarded to use the ropes to do but I lose 42 life's on Stormy Ascent so High Road just feels more annoying what level was hard for you
Without watching the guide, I beat the level with about 15 deaths. I honestly found the High Road and Road to Nowhere a lot harder than this. It was actually really easy.
@3:04 I spent nearly 20 lives trying to make that jump to the final moving platform. I have no idea what I was doing wrong. I just couldn't land on that final platform. I had just 105% crash warped so I was no novice, but that jump was very difficult
This level was finished for the original game they just didn't include it. You could access it through a GameShark back in the day. It was just too hard of a level for them to put it in.
I had 99 lives before trying this level for the first time. About two hours and said 99 lives later I called it a day. And what's sad about it, is that I only needed to get six more boxes. I have to get back to this bitch again later..

Also Crash 1 is a completely unfair game. It was meant to screw you over constantly to give more game time, since the base game is incredibly short otherwise.

kebo Probably dumb advice but go to your notifications to check if the downloaded file is there but hasn't been installed. If you've got the game open it should want to close it to do the install, and when you open it next the levels should be there. Obviously as well, you'd need to be up to that part of the game to access them.
When you're in the main PS4 menu and you're hovered over the game to select it, tab down past Overview, Trending, etc to PlayStation Store. You should see your Add-Ons, and your DLC should be there. Select it, and double check that it's installed. If it is, when you next enter the game you should see a short scene showing the appearance of those levels.

the relic is my issue, I get about 2/3rds through the level while rushing to atleast get gold but I usually die.
