Got me tearin' up... My Dad passed when I was a baby and my Mom passed when I was in the Army stationed in Japan... It's just nice to not feel alone. Thank you all for sharing your stories.
These are such inspiring stories to hear. As a new father this has given me a new perspective on my father and gives me hope for my daughter when she grows up. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for all of your kind words after watching the first three installments of the "PARENTS" episode. Hopefully it has been touching and meaningful to each of you in some way. There is one last part left, which will be up before long. Thanks for watching and supporting the MATTHARDYBRAND RUclips Channel.
this sometimes makes me want to cry this episode is gonna be a big hit on the hardy DVD.good job Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy and the people who worked hard on this episode
I already knew about Matt and Jeff's stories pretty much, but I can say that after watching these 3 parts, I've developed a new-found respect for Shannon Moore.
amazing story for both the hardys & shannon. shannon told the story well just then, his father was a real tough proud man to stick around 10 years after an accident, & must of been so proud seeing shannons career take off
These videos of the PARENTS episodes are awesome! Congratulations to Jeff and Beth on the birth of your daughter. May she forever be blessed and healthy....
@MATTHARDYBRAND last year i lost my stepmom to cancer and i felt and still do feel like a huge part of me has died when she did i watched as my dad just crumbled yet he still puts on a brave face lifes been hard since she passed away and watching this i can see how much it hurt you guys and i really admire what you've done its really sweet and i hope to see you back in the ring soon
@MATTHARDYBRAND This all has been touching to me. I lost my dad in september 2010 and not a day goes by that I dont miss him. I really thank you for giving us fans this video to watch. You guys have been an inspiration to me. I just want to say I love you all and keep doing what you do. Yall are phenominal! Thanks again!
Thank you for all the Parents Episodes you've posted and made. It's good to put that out there to people to spend time with your parents and love them cause you never know what might happen. One day they're here and the next they're gone. Once again this video made me cry but it was good tears. Shannon I'm glad you got to be with your dad when he past. I ended up just missing my dad when he past away at home. I wasn't there and I wish I had been. R.I.P Daddy, Gilbert Moore, and Ruby Hardy.
Another tear jerking episode. At least you guys made your parents proud by doing something you wanted to do. Some kids go off the rails when they loose a family member just goes to show what sting family bonds you guys have got.
@MATTHARDYBRAND An addiction took my mother away from my sister and I when we were little, and my dad raised us by himself after that for a very long time, and it was really hard for a long time but things got easier and we got older but we never forgot her. I've always looked up to you guys, especially Claude because I know how hard it was for him but I know how much you love your dad because thats how much I love mine and I tell him that every day. Thank you for this piece.
I actually cried. I know exactly what you guys are going through. The saying is right though. You never know what you have till it's gone. I have so much respect for you guys.
Well....you got me crying again....hearing Shannon talk about his dad's final days hits a little too close to the heart. My mom just passed away after suffering with dementia for a few years. We all sat around her bed waiting for her to die....it was a very strange experience. We also waited about a day and a half....until she finally took her last breath and her suffering was over. I don't think that image of my mom will ever leave my mind. Its always there. :(
Thanks again for sharing the most intimate moments of your lives with us. You deserve props for encouraging young, and old, to cherish their parents and families.
This is a very touching and emotional film, and really highlights how important parent and families are no matter how old you are. Thank you for sharing your stories and past with us, its made me think hard about some dicisions I have to make about finding my borht parents. Your mum would be so proud of both of you, and the success you've had from following your dreams. Thank-you! x
Watching these last couple of episodes really made me think that life real is not short and you should live every momment like it might be your last. I really thank you Jeff, Matt, and Shannon for sharing your story to us. It really gives us a different aspect on life and what really matters the most. I thank you guys a again and can't wait to see how this is going to end.
Thankyou all so much for sharing with us about your life. God Bless each and everyone of you. God has two special angels up there watching over you. ; )
@MATTHARDYBRAND Thank you Matt, Jeff, & Shannon; this has been far more touching & meaningful to me personally than you'll ever know. Several years ago I lost my mom to lung cancer so Matt, I know like you & Jeff what it is to lose your mom to cancer & I also know what it means to wait & watch your parents slip away-I know how heartwrenching that is. I was with her those last days & my sister was there through nights. But her very last my brother was at her side. They needed each other most.
It's very touching ... you boys are so strong to pull together when the going gets tough. It's amazing how Shannon's dad stuck around for 10 years when he was given on 2 to 3 weeks to live. Goes to show how strong the soul is. Great episode! I love you guys and the Hardy Show.
Good god i cried my eyes out watching this.......that was so powerful, & a lesson to us all. Life is too short, enjoy i, cherish it, because nothing is forever. I'm gonna take that little extra time from now on to make sure i tell my parents that i love them. Matt & Jeff, how you remain so strong after losing your mum is beyond me, i'd probably crack. Shannon, your dad would be proud of you man. Much love to you all
@MATTHARDYBRAND Having lost both parents, I know how you feel. So sad for you, Jeff and Shannon. Your stories are so touching and just to see what you guys have been through really makes me respect you guys so much. Take care of yourself.
Wow you three are some strong men I trying not to cry on none of them but it is a great strong message you all sending out and Matt you are right life too short thank you for sharing you all heartbreaks in life but you three been bless 20 times over
I'm in tears man !! I just don"t know what can I say...except that you're sooo courageous to talk about it publicly, because It's very difficult to talk about, just talking. All the episode (3 videos) touched me so much. That's sad but that's life"s rule, and we can't to not follow it0
Shannon's story is a real real tearjerker, very upsetting backstory & guy has lotta heart to press on as he's done. Always knew about you & Jeff losing your mum, was always something inspirational to look up to. Owe JR a lot of that, would sometimes mention on commentary about you both being remarkable young men to get past losing your mum so young & working so hard for a wrestling career. Very sad stuff x
wow! i'm touched you guys shared your stories with us like that. I'm amazed at how close to home Shannon's story hits me. My dad died when i was 5 years old from a car accident. I'll be 34 years old Nov 16th. Thank you so much for sharing Matt. I am not good with words. If you or Jeff could find a way to tell Shannon for me about my story I would appreciate it. You guys are amazing. Thank you again!
I have so much respect for Jeff, Matt and Shannon. Life handed them some cruel cards but hell look at them. You guys are amazing x x and yes it made me cry watching that :0(
so glad the final part is here :D! Thanks so much for sharing your story, you guys :) You boys are VERY strong, and this episode made me envy your father, matt and jeff. God bless.
@MATTHARDYBRAND man this really touched me ive supported you and Jeff since i was a little kid i can remember wachin smackdownr and when yours or Jeffs music hit i started cheering and just recently i was reserching my family and i found out that were related i fell like the luckiest kid alive i found out im related to my heroes how many people can say that.
@MATTHARDYBRAND - Later I lost my dad to complications-got home too late to get the call but always been grateful for 1 of the last calls with him-he understood so much-hate knowing my dad was in pain when he died but I'm so grateful when he asked my stepmom to let him go they did so he was in no more pain. With both my dad & mom many people let us know how much they'd influenced them & it meant so much. I know they're watching & my big brother & sisters have come to mean even more & I remember.
@MATTHARDYBRAND There is a song called In The Living Years by Mike & The Mechanics which perfectly decribes the lose of a father which touched me deeply with its meaningful lyrics which made me really appreciate not only my father but also my mother who are still on this earth ,to never take them for granted, made me realise how much they meen to me & how precious/iraplacable they are, great video Jeff,Matt & Shannon thank you for sharring this video with us :~)
@MATTHARDYBRAND I lost both my parents at relatively young ages. My Dad was 46, and my Mum/Mom was 58. Shannon's Story to me was a combination of both my parents' last moments on earth. My Dad passed away in hospital, my Mum/Mom, passed away at home, at her request. If anything I'm jealous Matt, Jeff and Shannon. They have other family and a very very close circle of friends...something I crave! Beautiful background music too.
Wow, I'm not the kind of person that can break down like I just did listening to Shannon. I'm bout to call my dad and see if he wants to go fishing tomorrow morning.
I'll be honest these mad me cry. I'm not a very emotional person but i lost a family member which was i was very very close too die. People dont know what its like when you loose someone close to you that you love. Untill they experience it.
Every dad should never be afraid to tell their children that they love them. Using a belt is not the way to teach your kids right from wrong. It just teaches them how to hurt and humiliate others
@dalonz0 The accident happened when he was young. In the video, he mentions nonverbal communications with his dad such as winking if he wanted something. He said "this went on for ten years".
Hardy's and Shannon Both I have the opper recpect for you to talk about that (with an aftertought )that miljoens and miljoens of poeple could watch this Recpect Hardy Moore fan 4live.
@modifiednerfgunfreak because they talk about their dad, and he just seems so strong. and to juggle losing a wife, and raising two boys on your own.. that must have been hard. but he did it, and look at how far they've all come.. they're just awesome.
@dalonz0 no Shannon moore never said his dad died when he was 9. he said that the father and son expeierince was takein away from him at the age of nine. witch means his dad passed away when shannon was 19 yrs old. matt all 3 of the videos touched me
This is a very interesting look on your lives its pretty surreal when you are staring at the man that made you take his own last breath which to me is very surreal! I'm sorry that you had to go through this! and Another thing in the video he mentions that he had a tour with the WWF/WWE and when he called they told him he had to be there that's fucking ridiculous I mean his father was fucking dying and they couldn't let him be home for a week or even just a few days!
@SuperGilberto1977 How so? I was merely stating that shannon moore, his "wrestling character" did not intrigue, interest or make me enjoy him. After watching this I am stating that seeing a real side of him, would draw me to his character, and I now admire him enormously.
Got me tearin' up... My Dad passed when I was a baby and my Mom passed when I was in the Army stationed in Japan... It's just nice to not feel alone. Thank you all for sharing your stories.
I could feel that, what Shannon said at the end about knowing he was going to succeed and knew his father knew that. Really touching and inspiring.
Shannon's story made me teary eyed. Much respect to all 3 of you.
These are such inspiring stories to hear. As a new father this has given me a new perspective on my father and gives me hope for my daughter when she grows up. Thank you for sharing.

Oh wow. I can't imagine going through something like that. God bless Shannon, Matt, Jeff and anyone else that has ever lost a parent.
These videos of the PARENTS episodes are awesome!
Congratulations to Jeff and Beth on the birth of your daughter. May she forever be blessed and healthy....

No its child discipline
@dalonz0 His dad died in 2003, So Shannon obviously wasn't nine.
