Harper is excellent, but there's no way he's better than Marciello. Or Gounon. The BOP of that BMW is a joke.
The bmw bop topic is somewhat concerning seeing the m4gt3s flying past other cars on straits within SRO and in other Series

@ConfusedOxygen Didn't win but were comfortably ahead when the safety car was called just before the pit window opened. That dropped them pretty much to the back of the GT3 field with the success penalty carried over from Brands. Without the poorly timed SC they would have won easily.
The number of races I’ve seen rafi marciello win by a fortnight this season and yet somehow, you had the courage to make this comment.

I see it stateside as well with the BMW’s. Why are they allowed to be so,much faster than everyone? When it was the Merc’s, they got BOPPED fast. Why are they allowed to run the whole season with such an advantage? If one make is pulling 2+ seconds on the field before the end of the first lap, somebody isn’t doing their job on BOP. Surprised the rest of the marques aren’t complaining.

Jesus. Does anyone watch DTM anymore? The M4 GT3 was a mid pack outfit all season. BOP is fine. Was there this kind of nonsense when Marciello was winning races by 20 seconds in the Merc?
@@Pewnhound112Isn't the bop something that varies between different series? Not all series handle it identically afaik. And everybody knows Marciello is incredible so him pulling huge gaps over others is hardly a surprise.
If you mean the big gap that the bmw in this rae pulled at the start, you gotta take into account that they were amateur drivers in those cars. Sure the car performance was a part of it but you cannot really make performance judgments based on what amateur drivers are doing, they are more erratic and error-prone. So it is practically as likely that the driver in 2nd just messed up and did so again at the restart.
@@Pewnhound112 so one series, no one is talking about, it’s mid-pack, and somehow that wipes away the clear advantage it’s allowed to have in Fanatec and IMSA/WEC GT4 and GT3 series. Got it. Thanks for clearing that up.

Why no Porsches in this series?
Team Parker where running a Cayman but switched as it was Malfunctioning plus Porsche is Busy in other things so we won't see Porsche Factory Drivers as they are Busy in IMSA WEC GT World Challenge Europe and what not

I know some of you like this. But I like to watch racing. Unfortunately, the director won't let us see any. Because just as soon as an overtake is about to happen, they have to go inside a car. And even worse, it's usually inside the car about to be overtaken, looking out the back window. Sometimes they show the overtake on a replay. Other times they won't even give us that. Any driver will tell you that the worst seat in the house is inside the race car. I'm sure I'm in the minority, but this is unwatchable for me.
Why is the Pit reporter wearing a race suit? 🤣
So they turn to the gt4 doing nothing while the bmw overtakes, crying hard
