Ive been watching your videos for a long time because of there high quality. These videos here on your new channel have me wondering about the core doctrines of orthodoxy. Salvation might be a good place to start but im sure you have a lot of ideas already
if you are prideful, why pray to the son and not your father? for who is the son to do the work of his father when he himself is not present! if you think yourself to not be worthy to talk to our Father then you shall never be able to. Go to the man Jesus told you follow and stop idolizing and deifying the opposite. God bless; your pride shall dissipate as soon as your prejudice does.

Yea I am 6 months new to orthodoxy and I am already tired of the online debates. I just want to grow even though that is hard and I am prideful and unloving towards Christ. That is what matters
He did have mercy on the world, Heavenly Father sent His only begotten Son to earth to die in your place, that you may through belief in Him reap life everlasting, what more do you want him to do? What else can he possibly do to show anymore mercy than he already has? No greater love hath ANY man, than the give his life for his friends. He gave us the power to become sons of God, what mercy do you need? The mercy to believe. People just don't believe it, that's why they burn. This is the most beautiful poem I have heard, I have listened to this countless times, and many times in tears, and I always come back. Please pray for me as I am struggling with grave sin and to live the path set by God. Thank you for this rendition of Saint Silouan's beautiful poem.
I’ve listened to this about eight times now. It’s one of the most realistic depictions of being separated from grace of God I’ve ever heard. When guilt entered the human mind, it was a hard thing to comprehend, the feeling of woe and despair was unbearable. The first cut is the deepest. When Adam and Eve first sinned, they initially lied by trying to hide themselves but were remorseful when confronted. When Caine murdered Abel, not only did he lie when asked where Abel was, he was completely remorseless when confronted. When God told him of his punishment he exclaimed “My burden will be too much to bear.” Totally consumed by his pride, completely selfish and more worried about how hard his life is going to be. Instead of just destroying Caine, God gave him grace and made it so no one could harm him. The fall only continued, humans learned no lesson, pride consumed our souls and desire propels our purpose. This was beautiful, thank you.
Saint Sillouan is a man so completely full of the love of God. How beautiful and poetic this is. His writings speak to your heart because they come from his, full of the Holy Spirit.

It's crazy to think about, today we have plenty of other examples to reference to help process sorrow. And we have families and friends to support us. Adam messed up huge, and was the first on earth to experience that emotion. Add atop realizing the consequences and scale of his mistake, and nowhere to go with that pain. And also losing anything that might bring joy or peace. And no way to correct the mistake. Makes my pains seem insignificant to say the least.

This sin I suffer also. We rejected this vice now we must resist it when the temptation comes. Remember that even if we were to fall temporarily we must stand up and not concentrate on the sin but on God's love. Try not to sin too much if it happens. Remember that this horror will some day be over. God wants you to be happy and fulfilled in a Godly Marriage(which is a Holy Sacrament).
