My Mom made Kool Aid frosting for cakes and cookies in the 50s when I was growing up. We loved orange, strawberry, cherry and lemonade on sugar cookies or yellow cakes. Thanks for this idea, mouthwatering now!
@@Pez2176 She just made the usual powdered sugar real butter and cream frosting and added Kool Aid straight from the packet a teaspoon at a time until it had the taste she wanted. There was never specific amounts as she made what she needed for a three layer cake or a couple of dozen cookies.

Cook them less as there is carry over cooking after they come out of the oven. Hope that helps. 1-2 mins less maybe. Some ovens are hotter than others.
