Mr. Bob, I am writing from flycatcher 3&4. We were so lucky to have you as our educator and we all had so much fun! To be honest we still talk about you and the whole trip. We love that you think the clay was cool, and we are so glad to have been with you for that week. -flycatcher 3&4 (to the best outdoor educator ever)
Bob, I was seventeen and going through an extremely rough time in my life when I went on an Outward Bound trip for a month 11 years ago. People like you touch and change lives, and I'm so glad you're moving from one passion to another. May life always be an adventure, man.
I usually don't find silences awkward. I thoroughly enjoy them! Once, I drove my parents in law with my wife (then, girlfriend) to a mall. And while her dad and I looked for a parking place, she and her mother left the car to go seeking what they were going to buy, in order to gain some time. It took us like 3 minutes in which her dad and I remained completely silent, before we found where to park. Later that night, I told my girlfriend: "Honey, I think your dad and I made such a connection! It was so awesome!".
I started watching your videos just before DMing my first module game of Wild Beyond the Witchlight. I need to preface this by explaining that we use discord for voice and in the server I made I gave each player a character journal to do whatever they wish with. Anytime we can't have a session I propose an optional writing prompt for my players to explore backstory and other fun activities. This video has encouraged me to give them the prompt "What would you like to see happen during our adventure? How do you enjoy DnD? As a player what are your strengths and weaknesses?" I try to communicate as transparently as I can as a DM and I thought this video was super helpful to help guide me to not only focus on my player's characters but my players as well. Thanks Bob!!
Ahoy is the pinnacle of “less stimulating, but excellent” videos. I try to find that balance in my videos- very clean and glossy graphics and editing, but it isn’t as relentless as others

I’m incredibly proud to say I am a part of the 1% who never clicks off of a Bob World Builder video, your content is up there with the greats in this community like Matt Colville! Even before you mention Matt as a content creator, I thought about how the best content creators are usually just talking heads full of wisdom! Great work again! edit: OH MY GOD I DONT KNOW IF THIS WAS INTENTIONAL BUT ENDING THE VIDEO WITH FOUR SECONDS OF SILENCE????
Thanks for this video, your openness, and your vulnerability. It’s not always easy to be your authentic self, but you do it well and inspire the rest of us in the process. This will up my DMing, but as a newbie D&D RUclipsr this really hit home. I do my best to be my true self despite the pressures to be something else. Congrats on all the big life changes and your success! Exciting stuff in your future
This channel has very quickly become my favorite channel for dungeons and dragons advice. I can already guarantee that my dming style is DRASTICALLY different from yours, and yet that doesn't matter. I still find every video insightful and helpful in many many ways
Your videos on Dragon of Icespire Peak are what got me into DM'ing, and have been so helpful! Thanks for being you, and thanks for helping me and many others have more fun playing DnD together!
This speaks to me far more than the sparkly nonsense and I appreciate your approach. Something for your research. Er. Videos. Good stuff, as usual. Thanks.
Hahah thank you very much for the validation on this style. I'm sure I'll still be doing to shorter/flashy videos for fun, but yeah, i think this style is ultimately better for people who want to learn something!
I personally prefer this format a lot of the time. It makes it easier to listen while at work as I don't have my attention being pulled away from... Well, work. It also tends to lean towards longer form content and I'm in the RUclips minority who LOVES longer, well written, highly thought out videos.

I had to leave outdoor ed- for health reasons, and ended up back in this world- watching you for 3-4 years nows? Your experiences in both fields speak to me and helps me see my connections and vulnerability. This is something i face everyday with my condition, but my imagination has always lead me to triumphs, look out for DrPletorius- Thanks again for slowing it down that is why i started watching in the first place - Sharing this out - but knowing not a high % will even watch!- and remember-* you might have to give up outdoor education, **but your education outdoors will never end!- thank you again my friend! Hey Bob, just wanted to stop by to tell you how much your commitment is appreciated. Leaving your work, no matter how carefully considered, is still a big step, so i needed to share my support and overall joy for the future attention you will be giving us. Your dragon of icespire peak guide is still carrying my games btw. I'm running it with three different groups and it's working out amazingly for me and the players as well.
You're one of the top-tier D&D and RPG channels out there. If you're taking the huge step of leaving your full-time job, I can't help but join your Patreon and wish you the best of lucks. Also, congrats on the wedding!
Remaining 5% gang! I wanted to personally thank you for this video. As a small RUclips creator focused on DnD, I've found that the high energy, or at least highly edited content, does bring in more viewership. But like you said, I don't naturally go that fast or that hard. So I include slow chapter breaks, slowing my verbal tempo and doing videos that are just talking head to camera. That balance makes it more sustainable, especially with a full time job! Still learning that balance though. Excited to see what you do next with the job change!
I just have to say that, as someone with ADHD, this video was incredibly easy to follow. Your way of presenting is INCREDIBLY human. You have that gentle way of speaking where it feels like you're speaking to someone in front of you, and not a camera. Matt Colville (and this isn't at all a criticism of him) feels much more like a "presenter" in his videos, but yours feels feel like you're tutoring a friend on a complex issue. I love it!
I haven't liked all your videos, but I've watched every single one. Even the old hour-long ones. Congrats on your engagement to GWD. You rolled a NAT 20.
Heeey just wanted to say Ive been watching your videos for a while, and absolutely love your style. The biggest thing to keep me watching and interested is the way someone presents themselves aaand a lot about their tone of voice. You're super soothing to listen too while also having great advice! Normally Im good about subscribing to content creators I enjoy... Well after this video I realized I never got around to it for you and feel bad but it's fixed now! I play D&D online with a bunch of visually impaired folks online who I think would also enjoy listening to your content and will be sure to share it! Thanks for being awesome and congrats on the big change!
Comment for the Algorithm. No but in all seriousness, this was great to hear. As a forever DM among my less-D&D-minded friends, it's hard for me to balance these things. Thanks for the reminder, and all the best for all the life changes you've got coming up!
Your more them welcome and I can tell this this is heart felt and it's always exciting to see another new full time RUclipsr join "our" ranks!(I just suck at the make money bit...) Which DND shorts can be but only to his true fans not to everyone who watch's his videos as seen in his comunity posts. Which for me I serfinced being a big channel to authenticity a long ago... But it allowed me to gain a comunity that most flashy Creators can't have. Thanks for all the great conetent you make and can't wait for those Drivethue RPG PDFs!
I gotta admit that I like simple, straightforward videos because I generally don't watch most of the video. I listen to it while doing something else, then look down at the screen when something is said which seems to require visual aid. I don't sit there and give it my undivided attention for the full duration. I would liken it to D&D. You don't always need a full-up, detailed map with minis. Sometimes just describing it, or scratching a quick map so as to avoid constantly re-describing a location, is both narratively sufficient and advantageous from the perspective of actually playing the game.
I don't play DND and I have not seen a previous video of yours and I still watched the whole thing. Great video anyone at a glance can see you are being a genuine version of yourself and as you said that really connects with people. Thank you RUclips algorithm gods for showing me the channel I look forward to the upcoming content!
So, I doubt you'll even see my comment, but I'm preparing a campaign that I'll be DMing, and I haven't DM'ed in about 6 years. Your channel has been helping me get back into being a DM quite a lot, and is one of the only D&D advice channels that I'm subscribed to. Your videos are informative, entertaining, peaceful, and all the advice you give is kind, useful, and enthusiastic. I prefer a less overwhelming style as opposed to the fast, loud, and overly energetic style which you mentioned in this video. Your authenticity is refreshing, and it enhances the impact of the messages and education you impart through your videos. I really appreciate your channel and what you're doing here, and I'm thrilled that you're going to be sharing more of your valuable time with us, your subscribers.
I don't always get to read all the comments, but this video is special to me and I'm glad I found yours! Thank you for the support and encouragement! :)
I absolutely f***ing know that you are a great outdoor educator. I wish my daughter, who is 10 and loves foraging could go on one of your walks. I'd be sad to hear that you are stopping but I'm pretty sure you won't stop completely and forever, and also you are doing a great job at this too. Also, thanks for this video. I found it very helpful.
I do appreciate this focused talking method and endeavor to authenticity (of creator to your content). For me personally i find it much easier to follow the message/topic. The very active visuals have their place and audience but i personally find it hard to hear what he was saying, the visuals just grabbed my attention and my ears couldn't keep up with the split attention. Also congrats on the upcoming wedding, and for the job jump. I wish you all the best, been enjoying your content from right around the 'how to prep for dnd' video and it's been lovely watching since. Keep it up good sir~
this video is perfect for me rn. i’m going to be running a game soon (when i get the supplies) with mostly school friends but also a friend from outside, so this will be good for tips
Great video. “I can always go back to being a shepherd, the boy thought. I learned how to care for sheep, and I haven’t forgotten how that’s done. But maybe I’ll never have another chance to get to the Pyramids in Egypt.” Don't be scared of changing career path, you can always go back :)
Thank you for the encouragement! I've been trying to remind myself of that lately. I was doing okay before I got in RUclips, so even if for some reason this were to come tumbling down, things would work out :) Very glad to have your support!
Pro tip: As a presenter in a live situation (i.e. not pre-recorded), if you ask "does anyone have any questions?", if you REALLY want to allow people the time to ask questions, the optimal amount of time to wait is about 7 seconds. If no one has responded in 7 seconds, you can be pretty sure there aren't any questions. But sometimes it takes that long for the more shy / slow / introverted people to ask their questions. On the flip-side, if you're rushed and don't ACTUALLY want to pause for questions, you can ask "does anyone have any questions?", wait less time (like 3 seconds) and then keep going -- most people won't have formulated their questions by then and you can just keep plowing through with your presentation. Note: in D&D settings, I'd generally recommend that GMs take the full 7 seconds. Because in D&D, it's more important for everyone to be heard than to meet arbitrary deadlines for time. If your game runs a little longer or you have to push things to next session, that's a thing you can do! Unlike, say, conference presenters where you've got a 1-hour time slot and not a minute more.
You do a great job with your videos mate, and I appreciate you telling us about moving to the channel full time and telling more about yourself (not that you don't share about your experiences in every video). I was originally drawn to the channel after a few videos because of your calm and to the point demeanor, it is a lot for me to keep track of other youtubers like you said. Just a massive thanks for all of the amazing content and for being who you are. Cheers mate!
Seriously loved this video; Maybe it was because it was self-aware in a sense, but it managed to grab my attention probably the most out of any videos you've made. Props to you man, I hope doing youtube full-time keeps going well!
I really appreciate that! Yeah it's honestly been a while since I made a more personal video. Feels good! Thank you very much for the support and encouragement!
Ill see if I can apply this in my current home game. I've been struggling to hold the party's attention for some time now, and I followed along with what most people tend to say. You know, the usual of "make the game around your players, give them multiple options for quests and outcomes, ask them what they want in their game" etc etc, and even though each of them says they love the game, I can rarely hold their attention for more than 5 minutes before one or two starts a conversation, starts floating over to the couch, or stuffs their face in an art book. Just feels like they don't actually come to play d&d and playing with a table of turned down heads and one enthusiastic sorcerer is starting to get pretty depressing. I think I've been pretty genuine in my dming but who knows
Hell yeah! Glad to see you coming to the scene full time. You reminded me of Matt Colville before you ever mentioned Matt Colville. So many D&D resources online are about "fixing" things - as if D&D is broken. I think the "how to fix" D&D content can really lead DMs astray and get them in a negative mindset, fixing problems that aren't present at their table. You, Matt, Satine, and Dael talk about D&D with positivity and wonderment. And that's why I subscribed. Keep being yourself, you are most definitely on the right path.
Thank you! Yeah, I've definitely slipped into the "fixing" approach before, and I'll say that it really works on titles on thumbnails, but I definitely aim to present my ideas in the videos just as fun things you could try, rather than saying I somehow came up with a better idea than a team of game designers :P
And for that vulnerability and taking a leap of faith for your creativity, you get a subscribe from me! Wishing you all the best. Keep showing up fully like you did here and the world will notice and take care of you. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 huge respect for you. Hope to one day join you in the sphere of jumping off into the unknown with a smile.
Crazy to think that we are kind of all just people. Real human people. I am happy for you that you made it this far with your channel and also very happy for sharing these tips with me!
Congrats on going full time RUclipsr. I really enjoy the calm and friendly approach of your videos and content. I think you are an excellent educator and look forward to what you have to share. Great stuff Bob, keep it coming!
This video felt so nice to listen to. I love the slower pace especially compared to the jump cuts and sound effects and everything else that can happen every second in what feels like every video out there these days.
it's really important for presenters, video creators and DMs to realise that not everyone on the internet or playing has the attention span of a gnat(!). some people (maybe especially neurodiverse people like myself) find the constant jumpiness of videos from people like DnDShorts (awesome though he is) almost over-stimulating and it becomes hard to take in his message. appreciating your gentle and absorbing presentation style bob! it takes time to inspire wonder and curiosity...
To add, as you say in your video. This is a more sustainable way to approach your vids. I honestly just unsubbed to one of those fast paced high energy dnd channels. I just didnt have the energy to combat that over stimulus everyday so i stopped wanting to watch. I liked them at first and nothing against the creator but i just didnt want to watch them. As opposed to this where it feels like a colleague is just calmy explaining a thing that he is passionate about. Great work, sorry to hear about your fun job, but im excited to watch more of your vids.
First off, congrats to you and Grace. I always get anxious when I see a cute couple that vibes on RUclips; I've been rooting for you guys to seal the deal! Second, I think this may be the video that gets me to become a Patron. Authenticity is absolutely key to meaningful experiences, I could feel it here my dude. You really are the Bob Ross of DND.
So well said Bob. As an outdoor educator myself, I can most definitely relate to what you're saying. Thank you for making this video, excited to see what you do next!
I would never stop watching these videos without staying for the "keep building!" (unless of course to take a break and come back to watch the rest later) So, you keep building as well and thanks for your content. And to be honest... It might be an age thing, but watching those high energy videos feels very exhausting, so coming to this cozy corner of D&D RUclips always feels like a nice walk through nature after being surrounded by loud urban noises all the time.
As for my style of GMing I mosty fall back to me routs of playing pretend with my friends and ask the players "What do you what to do?" And I find my fun building a world as resaults of my players actions but it normaly takes having a big world... Which I play ethier with the guys/randos at my local table top shop or just a solo RPG show and while I'm not flashy I make the mostly 8player involded in the world with my main issues with getting to everyone... Still I know I can hold 1 guys attention for atleast 1 hour on livestream just playtesting my game in a solo RPG show... Mainly by not hiding the fact everything is off the cuff and inprove and is just to test balance or a new rule... Still this is a great discustion to have thanks for the video!
i found you very shortly after i found dnd shorts, but honestly i love both of your styles. your softer spoken and more insightful takes are fantastic for me as a DM, and his style gives me great ideas as a player. ive been following Colville for a long time now and really appreciate and agree with everything youve said about him. i appreciate your video, love your work, and look forward to seeing more from you
Change is always scary. You are doing amazing! I love your content, it like the few other DnD you tube channels I watch gives me unique aspects/insights into DnD. Keep doing what you are doing/love. Also congrats to you and Grace.
Didn’t know you were an outdoor educator Bob. That’s rad! I’m a wildlife ecologist and bird/nature tour guide so I totally relate to the beginning stories of the video. I’m really enjoying following your videos as me and some of my friends embark on our first campaign which is rapidly coming to an end. Keep up the awesome work :)
Really have to drop some kudos because you mentioning parts of your outdoor education and the other things that you were being vulnerable with just really made me feel more connected to the video and the channel. Loving the work. And yeah the calm advice that you give may not always reach a huge amount of people but it reaches a certain amount of people in a really huge way.
Thanks for this wisdom-filled video & for the quite profound trust you shared with us, the 5% viewer!😊 A big leap, indeed! And for that leap I won't be skipping any more ads in your videos.🙂 Keep building, Bob!🌈🌞
Bob, you have been such a wonder to behold, your style is what keeps me coming back every time i see a new upload! I am very much looking forward to seeing more content from you, Thank you for your support and attention! keep building
You can do it! If you just aim to keep the game simple and fun for everyone, it clears away a lot of the other "advice" you'll see about running the game
A beautifully well done and obviously thought out video! I feel this both delicately clarifies what it really takes to hold attention, as well as calls out people to patiently give out more of their attention. Here's to the 5%ers! 💪
Shout out for Dungeon Dudes too - they have a good format that is not 'fizz-bang', but maintains your attention; perhaps due to their chemistry, as well as of course the spot on advice.
I only found your channel recently, but I really do love what you make. Your genuine, calm, and human approach is refreshing compared to a lot of the jump cut/sound effect riddled RUclips I see now. Your content has already made me a better DM, and as an experienced DM struggling to keep the attention of a new player, this video in particular will be great for me I’m sure. Thanks for everything you do, and congrats on being able to make this your full time thing!
Welcome aboard! Yeah, I like producing a videos in a variety of styles, but I ignored the slower-pace style for too long. This will gradually become more common again for me. Thanks for your encouragement! :)
I shared your passion for outdoor education and was a member of AEE, Association of Experiential Education, for about 8 years. This was from the early 90s until 2001. I've been a D&D player since 77, and I found out working with kids on initiatives and tasks in the outdoors really improved my game by describing the expressions, emotions, frustrations, excitement, and environments for npcs or players during a game. I could describe npcs, monsters, and beings that connected better because I could convey emotional content in a better way that connected with the players better. Excellent video with great incite and purposes!
@@BobWorldBuilder I love your videos. Definitely the Bob Ross of DnD advice. If you and AJ Pickett ever did videos together, it'd put me to sleep with dreams of DnD. (edit for grammar)
I listened to almost your entire playlist of campaign guides for the Essentials Kit as well as the playthroughs. Really love your gentle and soft-spoken style man, it's quite a rarity these days. Keep it up and best of luck :)
@@BobWorldBuilder don’t get me wrong though I also enjoy your latest stuff! Especially the series about testing the rules of dnd in real life i.e. the walking and jumping vids! It was a nice change of pace :)
Hey Bob, very nice to hear about your future plans. That’s a big step! I have never subscribed to someone on patreon, but now I will. Will be following your future endeavors with my full attention. ;)
Great video Bob! Bringing up the audience watch time was a clever way of attatching the subject matter to the act of watching the video itself. Although I have to say I usually dislike when videos bring watch time up as a way to make me feel obliged to keep watching, so I hope it doesn't become a running gag in future videos.
I see what you did there. In all seriousness, Bob: This was an exceptional video lesson. Thank you for sharing your feelings, opening up, and helping us all connect the dots in our own games and lives. You continue to surprise me with great content and lessons that apply to so much more than just D&D and RPGs in general. And, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Please keep doing what you're doing for the community!!! 💜
Showing 'Against the Cult of the Reptile God' when talking about Matt Colville... You could not have show a better adventure! :D Keep up the relaxing style, be yourself!

Hahah yeah being able to just sit in silence with somebody without it being weird is usually a good sign! :)
Most statistics have multiple outcomes. Small set friends unite! I'm also in the small set silence is nice. I hate it when listening to myself.
I started watching your videos just before DMing my first module game of Wild Beyond the Witchlight.
That's really cool to hear! Yes, I've found variety to be key for staying interested in my own videos haha
This could be the best comment!
I really appreciate that! Just watching is great support. Thank you! :)
DUDE! Congrats! I recently left my full time job to do my own thing as well. It's a scary leap, but ultimately a great one. You've got this!
Bob World Builder and Grace World Destroyer, LFG! So excited for you two to embark on the journey of marriage together.
Comment for the Algorithm.
No but in all seriousness, this was great to hear. As a forever DM among my less-D&D-minded friends, it's hard for me to balance these things. Thanks for the reminder, and all the best for all the life changes you've got coming up!
Haha, the algorithm thanks you, and so do I!
you have a level of self awareness i strive to achieve. you are not only a good role model for a dm, you are also a good role model
That's incredibly kind. Thank you! :)
Thanks Bob for giving us more of your time! Love your videos and can't wait to see what the future brings!
And thank you for watching! These are exciting times ahead and I'm happy to have your support :)
That was tough for 4 sec, but the visual aspect of a countdown kept me interested
I was hoping that would help some folks make it through lol :P
I gotta admit that I like simple, straightforward videos because I generally don't watch most of the video.
I listen to it while doing something else, then look down at the screen when something is said which seems to require visual aid. I don't sit there and give it my undivided attention for the full duration.
I would liken it to D&D. You don't always need a full-up, detailed map with minis. Sometimes just describing it, or scratching a quick map so as to avoid constantly re-describing a location, is both narratively sufficient and advantageous from the perspective of actually playing the game.
Totally, I think variety is what's important!
Wow...yeah. I don't usually WATCH RUclips more than LISTEN to it...so you were on 1 when I looked to see why the video wasn't playing. Good one!
I don't play DND and I have not seen a previous video of yours and I still watched the whole thing. Great video anyone at a glance can see you are being a genuine version of yourself and as you said that really connects with people.
Thank you RUclips algorithm gods for showing me the channel I look forward to the upcoming content!
Awesome! Thank you for checking it out and for your support! :)
Congrats on the marriage Bob! Hope all the planning goes well!
Thanks so much!
Congratulations! What lovely news to wake up to. I hope all your hard work pays off and this is a great move for you.
Thank you very much! :)
this video is perfect for me rn. i’m going to be running a game soon (when i get the supplies) with mostly school friends but also a friend from outside, so this will be good for tips
That's awesome! Just remember to keep it fun for everyone! :)
Great video.
“I can always go back to being a shepherd, the boy thought. I learned how to care for sheep, and I haven’t forgotten how that’s done. But maybe I’ll never have another chance to get to the Pyramids in Egypt.”
Don't be scared of changing career path, you can always go back :)
Thank you for the encouragement! I've been trying to remind myself of that lately. I was doing okay before I got in RUclips, so even if for some reason this were to come tumbling down, things would work out :) Very glad to have your support!
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding 🎉 I wish you both all the best.
So true! People never leave enough time for that!
Congrats on the wedding! You guys are going to do great! :)
Thanks a lot, from me and Grace! :)
I wish you the best of luck on entering the next chapter of your RUclips adventure!
Congrats on going full-time! That's a big step! I wish you the best of luck!
It really is a big step! Thank you for your encouragement! :)
Thank you so much for the support and encouragement! :)
Huh, your constant reference to what % of audience would still be watching probably inspired a lot more people to continue through to the end. Nice!
This video felt so nice to listen to. I love the slower pace especially compared to the jump cuts and sound effects and everything else that can happen every second in what feels like every video out there these days.
I'm glad you liked it! :)
Bob, you’re an absolute treasure. The D&D community is lucky to have you!
it's really important for presenters, video creators and DMs to realise that not everyone on the internet or playing has the attention span of a gnat(!). some people (maybe especially neurodiverse people like myself) find the constant jumpiness of videos from people like DnDShorts (awesome though he is) almost over-stimulating and it becomes hard to take in his message. appreciating your gentle and absorbing presentation style bob! it takes time to inspire wonder and curiosity...
Yeah, I've been focusing on that style a little too much. Personally I like watching and producing a variety of styles of videos!
Great video, man. I did zone out at the beginning, but your calm presence and sincerity pulled me back in.
Haha I appreciate your honesty! :)
Eyy, congrats! You got me hooked with calculating irl stats and I love your content. Totally agree that the over-the-top energy is exhausting.
Yes, the vibes are all real! Thanks for your interest in my Patreon, and thanks for the humbling title! :)
So well said Bob. As an outdoor educator myself, I can most definitely relate to what you're saying. Thank you for making this video, excited to see what you do next!
I appreciate your unique understanding of my situation! And your encouragement! :)
I would never stop watching these videos without staying for the "keep building!" (unless of course to take a break and come back to watch the rest later)
So, you keep building as well and thanks for your content.
Good for you, Bob! I bet it's scary but exciting at the same time. I wish you success.
You said it! Thanks for the support! :)
That's all really cool to hear! Thanks for your support :)
This is eye-opening! As someone trying to jump into the dungeons and dragons creator scene, I’ve definitely been struggling to find my voice
Thanks for this wisdom-filled video & for the quite profound trust you shared with us, the 5% viewer!😊
A big leap, indeed! And for that leap I won't be skipping any more ads in your videos.🙂
Keep building, Bob!🌈🌞
This one really was a pleasure to make! Thank you so much for watching to the end and for your support! :)
First we made words. Certainly these were constructed by need. It was the storyteller, though, who made for us language.
5% here ... Good Luck on your new adventures! ❤️
Bob, you have been such a wonder to behold, your style is what keeps me coming back every time i see a new upload! I am very much looking forward to seeing more content from you, Thank you for your support and attention! keep building
Hey that's my outro!! Haha, nah thank you for the kind words and encouragement! :)
I've just started considering DMing, and I'm not very confident about it. But videos like yours have really been helping. Thanks!
Thanks very much! :)
Shout out for Dungeon Dudes too - they have a good format that is not 'fizz-bang', but maintains your attention; perhaps due to their chemistry, as well as of course the spot on advice.
Congrats and good luck! Will be glad to see more of you on here :D
Thank you! For now, the goal is quality over quantity, so I'll be more present where it counts!
Wow, I'm eager to see what you bring forth going forward, considering all of your past content is superb!
I honestly love you. You’ve created what I think will be a lifelong connection with this DND player ☺️
As both a DM and a teacher, this is fantastic advice.
You're one of my favorite d&d content creators on RUclips, looking forward to more videos to come!
So proud of you man! Onward and upward!
Thanks very much!
You had my interest when you were counting down 😅 I was like "What's he counting down to?"
Haha just to the actual start of the video I guess :P
@@BobWorldBuilder I love your videos. Definitely the Bob Ross of DnD advice. If you and AJ Pickett ever did videos together, it'd put me to sleep with dreams of DnD. (edit for grammar)
I listened to almost your entire playlist of campaign guides for the Essentials Kit as well as the playthroughs. Really love your gentle and soft-spoken style man, it's quite a rarity these days. Keep it up and best of luck :)
Glad you like them! Yeah, I'm trying to return to my original style here and there :) Thanks for the encouragement!
Will be following your future endeavors with my full attention. ;)
Wow, thank you very much for your interest in my Patreon, and for your support in any way you're able to share it!
Thanks! And yeah it just made sense for this subject, so I don't have plans to talk about it in other videos
Thanks very much for this kind comment! I really appreciate your support and encouragement! :)
Congratulations, Bob!! Excited to see more content 🥳
Thank you! :D The goal for now is higher quality rather than quantity, but there's always more to come! :)
Showing 'Against the Cult of the Reptile God' when talking about Matt Colville... You could not have show a better adventure! :D
Keep up the relaxing style, be yourself!
