- This weekend I had a couple winter preservation projects to complete before garden season begins, along with some freezer meal prep and as always, from scratch cooking. I had some pressure canning to do, some sprouting potatoes to deal with and some items to prep in this homemade kitchen restock.
Below are some of my very favorite gluten free recipes and gluten free sourdough recipes from Kelci at Heritage Home And Hearth. I earn no commission from sharing, just love all that Kelci shares and I'm positive you will love her recipes as much as I do!

Hey girl! I'm from Armstrong BC, and I'm so happy I finally found the perfect RUclips channel for me! I mean, all your videos are exactly what I'm looking for. I'm so happy I found this channel!
I had to re-listen to the breakfast sausage mixing section. blueberries?? really?? LOL! :) I love how gentle your videos are. I had a frustrating time this afternoon and found this one quite soothing. Thank you!
So happy to hear that! I promise it is good with the blueberries!
Your videos are so calming! Just made chicken broth last night.
Thank you!
Yup me to on the chicken broth lol
Just love your videos ❤❤❤ !! Thank you for sharing. You give me wonderful ideas !! I'm going to try the sausage tomorrow!!!
Thank you so much! Im sure you'll love it!
Abbey, your eggs are so pretty! Well, your chicken's anyway.
I agree! Thanks for watching Joan :)
Great work pantery will be looking good.
Thanks Jim :)
Beautiful loaf!
Thanks Andrea!
Everything looks delicious! I can’t wait to try making the gluten free bread.
It is so good! I am sure you'll love it. Thanks for watching!
I will be giving your sausage recipe a try for sure and for being a gluten free, the bread looked amazing! Have a great week Abbey.
Thank you Cheryl! Im sure you'll enjoy it. Hope you have a great week as well!
I recently started canning, and I love it. Bone broth is a staple in my home. ❤
Isn't it so satisfying?! Staple over here as well :)
Amazing loaf of bread!!!
Thanks Marcia!
Great video 🫶🏽 What's the benefit of cooking the potatoes for 2min before freezing? Can't they be frozen raw?
Thank you! Blanching will stop enzyme action. Prevents discoloration when frozen and results in better texture when you go to cook them
Thank you for such great recipes. I will be making the sausage patties this weekend!! I was wondering about your utensil crock. Is it just a fermentation crock? Like a 1 gallon? I’ve been looking for one but am having a hard time finding one. Hope you are well 😘
Thank you for watching! Im sure you'll love them. Yes it is just a fermentation crock, I think 1 gallon. Antique stores often have them but more pricey typically from them. Have you checked Facebook marketplace/thrift stores?
How long does mayo last before going bad?
This is the reason I am hesitant about making it.
Should be good for two weeks
@abbey is the cast iron Dutch oven supposed to be hot previously to put the bread?
Not for this recipe :)
You really shouldn’t mix things on your scale. It will mess up the calibration of it.
Yes that's a good point, I don't normally.
