    6:40 - "echo $$" gives the Process ID (and Not the PPID) of the current instance of the shell program in the terminal..😊

    On windows whenever I am trying to use getppid() for getting the parent id, it is saying that there is no function declared such as getppid(). What might be the reason?

    Instead of using the datatype pid_t, I just used the int datatype and it worked just fine.
