Hi Tanmay, was waiting for this review, but you did not address one point how is the center audio without Bravia TV? previous model was criticized for the same, did Sony address that issue? how is center compared to physical channel>?
HI Tanmay - I am planning to get a 5.1.2 setup done (klipsch reference theatre with 2 atmos ceiling speakers). Would this be a better alternative instead of the wired system? My viewing distance is 12ft and purely using it with TV in living room.
Though I havent exprienced, It's amazing invention by sony giving the top celing sound effects virtually only with just with of 4.1 speakers. This system set up purely specially created for the 65,75 n 85 inches Oled/mini led sony Tv owner's a treat indeed
Hi @tanmayMehta 4:14 on which platform you are getting Dolby 7.1 ch Audio? I have Bravia Quad , getting Both Dolby Atmos and Dolby 5.1. But not Dolby 7.1 . Just curious to know.
Hi Tanmay ! I’ve traditional 5.1.2 setup, denon x2300w , klipsch 140sa atmos, dali zensor 5.1 from long time, I tried everything keeping klipsch atmos 140sa on front speakers & even hang them on height on my wall but never experienced atmos effect, I don’t know where I did wrong, now I want to upgrade to Bravia quad for atmos experience, will it work for me ? My listening distance is 12 feet from screen in bedroom
Hey Bhupinder, i think you should avail our virtual calibration service before opting for it. Coz wired setup needs to work better and we need to check the placement and calibration before commenting on improving the same!
Considering the sound signature and lack of center channel and sub, i think i will prefer the senheiser ambeo max + addon sub which is priced the same as this
@@TanmayMehta I think viewing distance is not very much criterea as i think both these products are meant for TVs and not dedicated HTs, however i agree that L-R seperation is more imp, if i were to ever pair something to a 100+ screen, i would also prefer the sony
HT wale bhaiya 🙏 Can it give real sound of Dolby Atmos ?? Can I feel hear the sound of rain , aircraft’s etc coming from ceiling ?? Or it’s a mere gimmick especially on this part Thanks
Hi , I am planning to get a 5.1.2 setup done Klipsch Reference Theatre with 2 Atmos side wall Elevated Speakers & Denon X3800 AVR. Would this be a better alternative instead of the wired system? My viewing distance is around 12ft and will be using it with Sony TV XR77A80Lin living room.
Hi. Been following your channel. About the Sony Bravia , I am interested. Though I have a 5.1 with Denon set up currently I wish to upgrade , that’s why am texting you about the Sony Bravia. But only request is I like to have the demo at home and not at the store. Is it possible. Pls let me know. Awaiting your reply soon. Btw am from Chennai. .
I just experienced this product in dlf mall in noida and it truely blows the mind, i was veey disappointed wirh ht a9 not due to the product but service related issues, the main controller was not touched at all which sony should have done could have inctesws one more hdmi port or just increased the size 😂😂 Other the speakers and driver amazing very amazing eve with out calibration was able to impress me, @tanmay what calibration parameter would you recommend for placing the speakers, above tv below tv level or at tv level, also how can we connect the older sony speakers(same speakers which came in ht a9) separately and is Bravia tv necessary to experience more wider things??
Even Bose Soundbar 700 with bass module and jewel surround speakers are completely wireless which released in market more than 5 years back. So what new thing Sony is bringing here ?
That’s a soundbar, which like Bose tonnes of other brands have including Sony. But this gives a freedom to extend the front soundstage due to separate speakers!
@@TanmayMehta first of all, thanks for reviewing this product. Im sure you must have found it very difficult to get your hands on one. The quad is meant for a specific use case scenario i guess with its good app and “ 360 effects “ does the job but it’s expensive and they SHOULD have included a subwoofer. Wire less speakers are a rarity and not many manufacturers have been able to pull it off. Plus im sure it’s better than a sound bar. Please make another detailed video if you can on the product.
I don't know how you can make that comment unless you've tested it. I have the earlier version HT-A9 and it does deliver on the claims they make about the surround and Atmos sound as surprising as it was to me ....
Soundbars of Sony are pathetic. If you are a music lover than you don't like Sony sound bar. All bluetooth based soundbars are dropping connections with Subwoofers and rear speakers. I have proved to sony. Also see global review as well

You still have the vokal enhancement with Phantom Center! But more detailed video coming soon!

It depends on the content Suneesh. It does read 7.1 audio in Dolby 👍🏻
does it works with google assistant as a smart speaker?
It works with google assistant.

Front LR separation is important specially if your viewing distance is more!

Yes, if the setup is done right and you’re in viewing distance range of under 15-17ft then definitely possible! Also, no double height ceiling 😁
What would you prefer among this , sonos arc with added sub and sonos era 300 and sennheiser ambeo max?
Revealing soon with a new video!

Absolutely 💯
You can reach out to local sony team on website and seek help for home demo
Yamaha V6A vs Denon X2800 which sounds better for movie & music?
Depends on speakers! But A2A vs X-2800H is wise and we have done a video on same
Is good for pure music listening in home leaving room & not as sound bar for TV
Absolutely 👍🏻
Sir, want to buy a budget projector. Wanbo X5 or Borsso BS30pro max? Which one should buy?
none
Can we connect 2 sets to use in home theatre room
No sir, you cannot do that! It’s a Home Theater in Box kinda package except for addition of subwoofers.
I want to use in home cinema room can it make it up for 12 × 18 room with acoustic wall panelled room
Don’t do any acoustic panelling. It will not create the phantom effect!
You need power at all four corners or all 4 sides to plug in these speakers. Isn’t it a mockery of home electrical design by Sony?
Yes. But how will the speakers produce sound without giving power? Batteries have limitations and shorter life span!

Suggest budget amplifier for 5.1 channel
Denon X-250BT and Yamaha RX-V4A are best picks
Brother wired sound quality is way better than wireless, plus you 5 separate speakers and one subwoofer
Even Bose Soundbar 700 with bass module and jewel surround speakers are completely wireless which released in market more than 5 years back.

Have to arrange power socket for every speaker, they are built in amplifier, they didn't integrated in that small box to make compact, over prized,
Hi sir, make a video on sony av receiver
Not available in India yet!

Tq for reviewing this
Nice product
Within 1lakh i can get avr with speakers
इस होम थिएटर में पेनड्राइव लगता है क्या
Yes or no
Yes. But better to connect it to TV
Almost a Sonos!
Just 2 lac only.
It was so cheap that I finally dropped the idea of buying one.
Haha 🤣
HT-A9000 video
Copied from KEF slim speakers. But still Sony quality is way inferior.
4 speakers CANNOT mimic 7.4 setup. Half baked sony product.
agree
It does create great phantom sound like Dolby Atmos enabled speaker. Hear it to believe it coz even I was of the same opinion
What a stupid comment.

Isn't the connection through wifi. It's not for audiophiles just plug and play and enjoy. It will satisy 80 per of the consumers.
Worst for its price
Very worest sound quality and heavy bad
WASTE - POWER FOR EACH SPEAHER will not work - Think AGAIN REDESIGN
