- Waste Management Oceanside yard has 3 trucks dedicated to emptying all of the public litter bins in Oceanside. About a year ago, I saw the carry can in the transit center parking lot and recently made the trip up to get some video. The carry can is used most of the week but when it’s down or the driver is out, they use the Ford 450. The main downside to the Ford is having to unbag and rebag hundreds of PLBs a day but one of the upsides is emptying everything in one sweep since they actually do recycle.
Thanks to both drivers for allowing me to film!
That's cool you caught this garbage truck at the edge of the country lol. I wish I could step into the video onto that beach, I have relatives in Oceanside and that scenery looks so familiar, I wanna catch some waves lol. So when they use the FL they come back for recycle later in the day? That's cool how they distinguish recycle with clear bags. Interesting method of collection and seeing a garbage truck in such a heavily populated tight area is cool. Glad you caught this!
Haha the farthest west a trash truck picks up in California. I actually don't know if they come back for recycle on Sundays, they could push it to Monday since the bins aren't that full. Thanks!
wave n truck watchin. sounds like a fun day
SoCal at its finest
that's a neat little truck they've got. Front load is interesting to use, im surprised they don't just send a mini all the time
Thanks! I was a little shocked they sent a full sized fl but it works for them!
I miss when they ran the volvos on this beach, Can u make a part of alleys
I will try!
Does recycling go in the clear bags? Awesome video, definitely makes sense to see WM Oceanside in the Ocean Side.
Yes, recycle is in clear bags and trash is in black ones.
@@zp12684 Interesting!
hey isnt that the old curotto that used to run in 4s?
Yes it is
how do the hot coals get collected?
I believe the city's public works department handles that. When the pits get full, they shovel them out and throw the coals into the trash.
