Everything in your actions after the crash makes me scream STOP! 1. Don't move the victim unless it's absolute necessity to avoid further injuries or death 2. Never ever even try to remove the helmet or any other riding gear. If the victim does so, let him do so. 3. When there's more than one people on the scene, one should dial 911 or what ever is your local emergency number. By violating any of these very simple rules you're propably causing more damage to the victim at hand.

I've noticed Max asking, "What should we do?" for the second or third time. While it's not your obligation, it might be wise to consider taking some EMT classes. This way, you'll be better prepared to assist your friends or yourself, especially since you often find yourself in situations involving accidents.

It's just a friendly reminder that when you encounter a motorcycle accident, it's best to call 911 for medical assistance first. Even if it's just through a phone call to provide medical assessment or guidance because motorcycle accidents can often lead to injuries like Max mentioned, such as internal bleeding or potentially more severe spinal injuries. Moving the injured person without proper assessment at the scene might carry the risk of paralysis. (We have a lot of such cases in our country🥲, so there is relevant guidance on this.)
    I hope he is fine.

Max you did the right thing asking questions and not instantly trying to push his body around. Next time call ambulance put him at a rested position and DO NOT MOVE HIM ANYMORE until medics show up. Two things I saw: He more than likely had sportier tires that needed way more scrubbing in to warm them up. When they are cold, they are slick as hell. Two, he was riding over his limit. You could see how unstable he was in the corners, which was due to the above (cold tires) and he was all over the place around every corner. His line selection needs a lot of work. I hope he realizes this now after this wreck. Good thing he had full gear on.

Every turn he was too jerky, & not smooth with his transitions from side to side, on top of grabbing a little too much brake before the turn. Although he went & bought a new CBR 1000rr 2 days later, hopefully this will be a lesson to him & to practice his body position between transition’s. . Watching that crash and seeing how he ended up wrapped around that tree had me going though all the possible injuries he could have sustained. Making sure his airway is open is priority. Maintain some sort of c-spine control before moving him also important. Once you guys had him on his back (supine) you should have left him in that position and monitor his airway. Check for major bleeds. There is a proper way of removing a helmet from an injured rider. Then call for help. I watch plenty of these motorcycle videos as I ride myself and one thing you should all learn is basic first-aid skills just incase something like this happens to a riding buddy. It can literally save a life. Glad he was not seriously injured. 👍

First glad he is ok. Second, there are some things to be learned here. He was leaning the bike further than necessary. His head was neutral, but his body was leaned in. His head should be leaned in with his body to help reduce the lean angle. Also, he was working an inside/in line. He should work outside in to the apex to straighten the corner more. This could have ended much worse, take it to a track if you want to push your skills, the street is not the place for it. Go to Superbike, or take some classes. One of the best investments you can make.
