They have not had the acclaim they deserved. They are a magnificent Glasgow band..Love TRavis as they are just as good live as they are listening to them via radio.
That’s one of my favorite things about music. For whatever reason, no other human sense trigger is quite as vividly powerful with its ability to seemingly transport us from where we are now to a specific point in time quite like a song or piece of music. It just hits our senses entirely different way than anything else. Which is probably why it was always included in worship regardless of religion, belief system, era, etc.
i met fran at the backstage of pentaport festival 2008 i was a high school boy and i just broke in to the backstage to meet one of them LOL and fran jsut suddenly appeared out of nowhere in the dark and we had a little conversation until the stage guard came in and literally dragged me out of there onething i still remember to this day is that he was the kindest rock n' roll star i have ever met he was such a dude i met noel gallagher too later it was such a contrasting experience relative to meet fran both are my absolute heroes regardless long live 90s british rock n' roll
@@steffrs3377 the joke was about his attire rather than his bank account. He looks like a pizza delivery guy in the red hat and clothing… I wasn’t suggesting he’s hard up and has to support his income with a second job delivering pizza. I thought that was fairly obvious… Jokes are better when you don’t have to explain them. 🤦🏻♂️
Forgot all about this song until this shit radio station I listen to at work, greatest hits which is so bad, then they played this,I had stop in my tracks to hear it and find out who played this,I always loved this song, then the DJ says Driftwood by Travis,I was holy shit Travis, loved this Band and this song?
I totally stumbled upon Travis by mistake. They were opening for Oasis at Tower Theater in Upper Darby Pennsylvania around 2000. One of the most disappointing headliners I’ve ever seen in a show. Thoroughly disappointed. But the opener was fantastic. From that day forward I loved Travis.
Travis is such a great band

Totally agree. Lost in the style and company of Coldplay of the same era.
Driftwood might be the most underrated song of its time I can think off.
This song is one of the most special and important to me. It takes me back to unforgettable days. Thanks for this never-dying gift, Travis.

Travis kicks so much ass. This album is up there for me with Parachutes by Coldplay
My god..... he didn't age a day
Good man Dougie. Always dress like you’re a rockstar 👍
The other lads look like they’ve popped out for milk.
Lol! Spot on😂

Why does this nation have to search "Chris Evans" to receive any decent music. It's absolutely pathetic.
True. Evans is our only gateway to good music. Help.....
Is fran ok .... red trousers.... is his mental state ok
