Hi Jeannie! Thank you so much for this video and the work you are doing to help us hyper-mobile people :) I’d love a video on gait! It would be be so useful to know how gaits might differ when you are hyper-mobile. Thanks :)
If we can't raise only our big toe (all the rest want to come up too), can we hold down the others? Will that train them to stay down? I figure it will slowly build up the big toe, but am not sure. I am a brand new subscriber and so thrilled I found you! Thank you so much!
Hi Jeannie, thanks so much for this and for all you share. As a Hypermobile being, I greatly appreciate all the exercise and tip ideas. I do wonder though if you have ever shared about the pelvic floor. Thanks so much🙏
Hi Jeannie! Thank you for all your videos, I so appreciate them. I am practicing walking as you advise using the 3 points on the base of our feet. Before I saw your videos I have been locking my knees and therefore tipping forward. I have bunions. What would you advise if I am unable to practice walking better because of the pain under my right foot? The pain is just below my 3rd and 4 th toes. Best wishes, Denise
Hi Jeanie. Thanks so much for posting this. It's so odd all these years being hypermobile I never really appreciated the role of the foot in keeping you stable. Can you also recommend videos to complement this to help strengthen flat arches? Thank you! Xx
Hi Jeannie, thanks so much for this video. I got to use a foot corrector a couple of times in a pilates class and it was eye opening! Will try at home with the ball as you’ve shown. One general question - what are your thoughts about doing “inchworm” (doming) for hypermobile feet? I think I’ve done most if not all your foot videos / TZC classes now and I noticed they don’t (or don’t seem to) include that exercise. (I do recall cherry picking which is similar, but you didn’t prioritize it.) Just curious to know your thoughts. I am not asking related to what my feet may or may not need! Thanks 👣!
Thank you. Hope you like the tennis ball. Cherry picking is fine - I think I do it in one class. But the way to really change foot function is to load the tissue, so I tend to go in that direction.
Hi Jeanie, can you make a video or give suggestions on stretching while being hypermobile plz? For example in my case my hamstrings and calves are extremely tight such that I can't even hip hinge properly so should I follow the same hamstring stretching routine a normal person would do or will there be some restrictions?

Thank you. Glad it was useful. Yes I’ll see what I can do for the gait.

Thank you 🙏🏻. Glad to help. Yes absolutely, hold the others down for now.

I have a whole class in The Zebra Club on the PF.

Yes stretching is live next Thursday - the truth about stretching 😊
@@JeannieDiBonHypermobility oh great thank u so much! would be eagerly waiting for it!!! 😇😇
Hi Jeannie, would you recommend doing these exercises everyday in addition to a ZC class?
Yes a little footwork every day would be great.
Ou trouver cette machine pour les pieds ??
You can buy them from Balanced Body online in the United States.
Ok when ball of foot is on the ball where should movement be initiated from? The ankle? Really struggling to not stiffen/bend my toes
Ideally the hip initiates the movement - work from centre out to periphery
Es ce qu'il faut le faire sur les deux pieds lors de la seances?
Yes if possible
Merci super
Hello , faut il le faire sur les deux pieds? Mon pied droit est le pire et je porte 60% de mon poids dessus contre 40% à gauche ...
Ideally we work towards 50% weight on each foot. But go slow.
Can hypermobile feet cause pain in feet ?
Absolutely 💯
