@onemorewatchplease I have the Speedy and the Snowflake. The Snowflake I got to myself as a birthday present when I was 40 and the Speedy was something that I wanted to get for many years now. I went with the 1861, the big box and no coaxial movt. Both are great pieces, that I enjoy a lot among the other ones. These days I wear the Speedy more as it is a tool watch compared to the Snowflake that is a bit more elevated in my opinion.
Both the Speedy and the Snowflake are fantastic choices-each with its own unique charm! The Snowflake is such an elegant and refined piece, perfect for special occasions or when you want something elevated. On the other hand, the Speedy is an iconic tool watch with so much history, and the 1861 movement adds to its classic appeal. It’s great that you have both ends of the spectrum covered and can enjoy them in different settings!
All of these are awesome watches. I think my favorite here is either the Monaco or the Fifty Fathoms. I would add the Citizen Chronomaster that stands out as a marvel in quartz watch accuracy. With its A660 movement, this watch boasts an astounding accuracy of ±5 seconds per year. Its precision is further enhanced by features such as temperature compensation and advanced quartz oscillation frequency. Hope you have an awesome new year man!
Thanks for the thoughtful comment and for sharing your favorite! The Citizen Chronomaster is an incredible pick-its accuracy and innovation are truly remarkable. The A660 movement is such a testament to the potential of quartz watches. Out of curiosity, what do you think makes the Chronomaster stand out even more compared to mechanical icons like the Monaco or Fifty Fathoms? Wishing you an awesome new year too!
Casio F 91 W is by far most successful watc ever, since it is sold in 3 million pieces every year. It is produced some 30 colour variants. Worn by rich and poor, it democratised the right to accurate time throughout the world. The last variant F 91 WB 8A is the most elegant digital watch I have ever seen. H have just bought it.
That’s such a great observation about the Casio F-91W! Its blend of affordability, reliability, and universal appeal truly makes it a timeless icon. The fact that it’s produced in so many color variants adds to its charm and versatility-it’s amazing how it can cater to such a diverse audience while staying true to its original design. The F-91WB-8A sounds like a fantastic choice! What inspired you to pick that specific variant, and how are you finding it so far? Do you think it lives up to the legacy of the classic F-91W?

Thank you! That's awesome-owning two is impressive! Which ones do you have, and how are you liking them?

Although I love the Zenith, if you are talking about historical significance, I think I have to go with the Speedmaster!
Great choice! The Speedster does have an iconic history. What about it stands out to you the most-its design, its impact, or something else?
@onemorewatchplease Definitely the look, the connection with space exploration and the overall popularity of the watch.
Absolutely! The design, connection to space exploration, and its widespread appeal really make it stand out.
No Casio?
