Hey, Just Eifort saying Hallo. I came across a news story that worried me. Talk about an emergency. Japanese girls into Chinese Cosmetics. The Chinese use Lead like asin lead acid batteries for exported cosmetics. It's to poison the girls and leave them infertile. It's meanness in disguise. As the Chinese laugh. 🚨
Wolfy may not have actual vivid memories of the day, but experiencing things like this all work together in developing those intrinsic memories that help to develop those fond memories of being a child and having a good childhood. All experiences as they develop are important.
This! I may only remember snippets of my early toddler years, but I can still tap into that cocoon of love, warmth, and laughter that was my childhood.
Oh believe me, Paolo, kids DO remember, even at such a young age. I still remember things from when I was 2, things I did with my parents and nice moments. So you're doing exactly the right thing taking Wolfy to as many spots as possible. You can see the joy on his face. That's what it's all about :)
exactly, and most events or attractions even have children under certain age gets in for free. i'd be sad hearing negative things also cause it would feel like i was doing something wrong, as part of the community I'd like to apologize for the dum-dums making those negative comments, because society disagree's with them with the simple phrase "kids get in for free"
We wanted to visit Japan when our daughter was 6 months old but family talked us out of it. In the end, we took her when she turned 1 year old. We do not regret one bit of it. It was an amazing trip; she loved every moment of it, she got so many new impressions and new culture that she could take in, and even if she will not remember when she grows up, we will still have all the pictures to share with her. I never listen to people anymore when they say the children won't remember.
Paolo please disregard anything negative someone says about what you and your family do and focus on what you want to do for your family. What is most important is the joy you all receive when you do activities as a family. Our teenagers are aware that family is the most important part of life because in the end that is who will be there when you pass away.
i agree with the last thing paolo said you don't have to wait for your kids to grow up so that you can have fun with them just live the moment even if your kids won't remember it you will and you don't know how many years you got left. much love and appreciation for you guys💞
We've taken our daughter all over the world starting when she was a toddler, she loved every minute of it and has great memories... Now she is a university student in Seoul, we're going to meet her in two wks, tour Seoul w/ her as our guide and then go to Japan. Oh, the places she can't recall? We'll visit them again as a family, the way we have always done it.
My mother used to perform at Disneyland when it opened. She took her family to the park all the time, even when I was a baby. To this day I love going to the parks. So keep having experiences with Wolfy even if you don't think he will remember because you and Maiko will remember it. My mother would always tell the story about my first time at Disneyland and I cried in Mickey's face. Do I remember that? No, but the family did and it was good fun talking about it around the dinner table.
Most parents strive to make good memories with their children and opportunities to see them smile and laugh. Paolo and Maiko, even if he doesn't remember all the little details of the day, he is going to carry the feeling of enjoying the time together and feeling so loved. 'Makes it well worth all the efforts. 😁😁
Same thoughts , WE remember for them. I tell my daughter all the stuff we did and places we visited when she was still 5yo and younger. And ofcourse famvids helps alot and pictures.
Aww hearing this part at 2:57 is so sweet. I'm not planning to have children in the near future, but I also want to make sure they have the same cultural festivals, holidays and such I had growing up.
You never know what babies and toddlers remember when they are older. I have a couple memories from when I was 2-3 of things that were very exciting for me at the time and made a strong impression.
I loved that sentiment at the end of the video. I started taking my daughter on japan trips when she was 2. She's now 18 and we're about to do our 7th family holiday to Japan in December. It has been worth every cent and every second of effort. You only have one life. Don't stall waiting around for the right time to live it.
Maiko and Paolo are such great parents also i think it is great that they take their child to fun places (while documenting it) so if he grows up and doesn't remember he can always look back at these videos and see his fun past adventures with mom and dad 😊
Kids do remember! Maybe not consciously, but everything they experience adds up to the sum of who they are. We took our little girl to everything, starting the day she was born -- music festivals, folk dances, arts and crafts fairs, children's play groups... EVERYTHING. Partly was because my wife is addicted to experiences, can't sit still, and partly because it's such an enriching thing. Whoever is criticizing you must not have raised a child... or if they did, well, I feel sorry for their children! To young children, the world is an exciting and magical place, to be experienced to the fullest. Thank you for sharing your life with us!
Kids remember. Maybe some people don't, but my son remembers us taking him to Canada day events when he was two, even remembers the food! Never miss an opportunity to go out with your kids, they might remember, or might not, but they WILL be happy, and you will have the memory of those times forever. Festivals in japan look like a blast!and even though my son is 17 now, we both want to experience a japanese festival 😁
I think kids remember at least the feelings of these early outings. I feel like I did. And next time he goes he’ll be even more acclimated. As long as he’s happy and engaged. It’s also nice to see the old folks interacting with little ones too. Socialization happens at all ages. Imagine a place like that without kids under, say, 4. It’s be so weird.
Even if Wolfy doesn't remember the visuals of what happened on those particular days, he will remember the love and fun he had with his parents. Our brains are still forming at that age, and being showered with so much love and support is helping him grow. It's also helping him learn how to experience life and going to different places as he get's older. All building blocks for what's to come
You are such a sweet family! Even if Wolfy won't remember (he might remember, as I do remember some things of when I was that age), you have it all recorded, and will be great to spend some mornings watching those videos together when he'll be older. It's great you enjoy those moments together, now and later 😊
What you’re doing for your son is awesome, my wife and I did the very same things for our children when they were young. I ended up with a spinal cord injury and into a wheelchair, I’m so thankful that we did all the things we did with them when they were young. Brings back memories from long ago. Do what you think is right for your family, don’t give those people a second thought who would make stupid negative comments.
I always thought that half the point of you creating these family vlogs was to have a time capsule of sort for you, Maiko and Wolfy to treasure and look back on 💜 Also, I can picture you and Maiko embarrassing him as a teen, showing these to his high school friends 😆
To live and experience life in the moment is instrumental to the development and growth of children’s connection with the world. Even if they don’t remember, in THAT moment in time they are building skills & knowledge, bonding with families, observing, listening, processing information, experiencing emotions and a whole lot more! And just as important- the parents will have cherished memories of that moment with their young ones ❤
even if he does forget this specific day, i know i was taken to places as kids and don’t remember but still feel a type of joy i cant quite explain going to those same things older! it can make an impact, big or small! all the fun memories together are worth it for sure
I loved your closing sentiment, I just gave birth to my firstborn, and I and am already planning out all the fun places I want to take him. When I share that with people I am constantly met with the "He won't remember it," statement. Thanks for putting my feelings into words, and providing me with a comeback the next time someone says that!
Quality family time and outings are important no matter what age and the stories you can share with him when Wolfy's older is all that matters. Quality family time is everything and as you said you and Maiko will remember it so you have those memories. Love your family and am very happy to be able to watch Wolfy and your family grow. 💙❤😍
I don't think kids won't remember, Paolo. They might forget the place but the experience and feeling they had felt, absolutely they do. My son always says that he had fun and happy childhood. And whenever we visit the place again now that he's grown up, he will always say that " mom I think I'd been here"🥰🥰🥰
Love the paper roll toy wolfie was playing with at the end. Very nostalgic as it brought back childhood memories of winning one at a fair when I was young too 😊
The interesting thing these naysayers forget is that you have captured it on film for Wolfy to see at any age. He will remember vague details like we all do about our childhood but he will also have the video proof as a memory. Keep taking him wherever because the look on all your faces when he smiles/laughs is a joy.
The great thing about you vlogging, Paolo, is that even if your son doesn’t remember the trips from his own point of view, the videos you take will show him. And that’s wonderful.
When i was about your sons age, probably a little older, my parents took me to an amusement park in Italy, and i still (vaguely) remember it to this day. Wolfy may not be able to vividly remember this when he'll get older but you're all having fun and making memories as a family, and that's the most important thing! Have fun y'all :)
These times make memories at every age. Your love for your son is about living in every moment and you're doing a great job. Stay well and positive. Hello from London ; - ) xxx
I have endless fond memories of theme parks and fun events my parents did with me growing up! Kids definitely remember and cherish all those experiences 💖💖
You and Maiko-chan are creating memories and preserving them via your channel for your son to watch anytime. Brightest blessings to you and your family! 😊❤
Thanks Paolo, Maiko, and Wolfie for the fun matsuri experience! We cant wait for our Christmas trip to Japan, finally after over 2 years! Thanks for all you folks do and share with us! Good to see you folks out and about! Aloha 🤙🏽😊
I totally agree what you said about now waiting. The child might not remember the specifics but he will surely remember the happy and positive times with family.
We live in Florida and hear that comment a lot about taking our daughter to Disney World and Universal since she was 4 months old. She is now 6 and let me tell you the memories we made will last a lifetime! Also every stage they go its like a new first time because they can door like new things! I agree with you and I think you guys are doing an amazing job as parents! Wolfy is so adorable, happy, and lucky to have you both! - edit to add my daughter also remembers things from as early as 3 at the theme parks! she loves it. :)
Paolo, You and Miko are wonderful parents and deserve to share all these experiences with your darling son, don't listen to the negative comments. You will be amazed at what Wolfy remembers, but also what these varied experiences do for his development and general knowledge. Keep up the good work. Cheers, Muffy from Oz (Australia)
You guys are such a sweet family and you have inspired me to move to Japan and check out the different things! You guys are a appreciated by me and my friends!
My earliest memories are from when I was around 2 years old, so who knows, Wolfy might remember! Also obviously parents bring their babies to do fun things so the parents can remember/experience bringing their baby along on those experiences. Nothing wrong with that at all! And you've got the footage to show him when he's older. When I was in elementary school, I loved watching my parent's home videos of taking me to Disney/trips when I was a baby, even though I didn't remember it :)
This video is so cute. Yes, that's true -- Even if Wolfy doesn't remember it later on, he surely has enjoyed it in the moment with you two and that is all that matters.🥰 Just like what you said, we don't know what will happen in the (near) future so we might as well treasure every moment we have with our loved ones :) Besides, Wolfy can always watch these videos again when he grows up and he will be so proud and grateful that you two had brought him to these festivals ⭐
Totally agree with you on why it's so worth it to bring your kids to fun places even if they might not remember 10 years from now. The experiences they have now will shape their view of the world at least within the near future! People who say it's not worth it are those who are just lazy and boring parents. Period!
8:11 The fact that your filming it. is all the memory he needs. The job gotta remember this is gonna be up forever on RUclips so all you have to do is just go back and watch the video when hes a little old
Paulo this is my first time commenting but I’ve watched your. Videos for ages!! Thank you for all your content and sharing your beautiful family with us. That being said I do wish there was a way to automatically block negative comments or statements on RUclips. There is not one person that has to put themselves out there on RUclips tube but I am grateful because I’ve learned so much. I for one love that you take Wolfy out for all these experiences it helps to contribute so much to him as a person. Being around people, learning that there so many different things to learn from each other. I get long winded. Just know as if you don’t already there are a lot of unhappy people in this world that have nothing else to do but try to spread it. Take it as a grain of salt and let it fall by the wayside. Love to all of you❤😊
These experiences are great for his development. He may not remember it in the same way you will, but he will develop in a fun and happy environment and have a better chance at being an amazing human from his upbringing.
I really enjoy your family videos. My children are older now. I took them all over the place when they were little. I had so much fun & so did they. It was like having an excuse to be a kid again. People used to say that to me too. And I agree with you completely. Thank you for putting it into words. I remember, and not only is it about remembering but it’s about experience. If you want a child to grow up to be socially confident you have to expose them to social situation‘s, (all different ones). Especially fun ones! And look at how many opportunities he had at that festival to use his imagination, make choices practice language skills, social skills the list goes on and on. You guys are great parents and I really enjoy all of your videos so much. It’s hard for me to travel now so your videos give me a little mini vacation. Thank you for sharing your lives.
Wolfy will remember! Even if it's not vivid, he got the socialization, the fun, the toys, and as a family it's an important bonding experience. Plus, you have videos now to show Wolfy when he's older!!
He's going to have these videos of his childhood forever, your family will be so grateful for this! Keep doing you Paolo and Maiko. You guys are wonderful parents thank you for sharing this little moments with us.
Don’t worry about those comments!! As a mother of a 17 year old son I recognized long ago it’s all about the memories that first you and your wife and later you, your wife and son create together. I love watching your channel and we hope to visit Tokyo in 2024!
Kids can absolutely remember stuff that happens at 2, it's just often very selective, and seeing pictures and hearing stories of the events will reinforce the memory over time and make them want to revisit things when they get older. Young children also benefit from positive experiences even if they don't remember them! The more different things you do, the more confident they'll be trying new experiences going forward.
I’m sure these videos will be archived for Wolfy to see later. If my childhood experiences were recorded at age 1 or 2, the memories would come rushing back pretty quick I would think. Good for you for doing this with him. Love your videos
I have a 10-month-old daughter and I hear the same from a lot of people. What you said is so sincere and true, and it reassures me not to second guess when I want to take her somewhere! Looking forward to seeing many more of your adventures
rather to fill a kids life with things they enjoy than things they hate. I had few memories from a very early childhood that sticks to me and they werent that nice. You will never know what they will and wont remember, enjoy everything you can! You both are such great parents i aspire to be when i soon get a kid of my own
He may not have the memory, but something inside him will always remember. Love and life is more than stored memories. You guys are great parents. Besides, when he's older he'll get to watch all the love and care you guys have for him.
I love what you have said at the last part. I feel thesame way when I took my kid to disney when he just turn 3. And in my surprise he still remember it til now. not all the details but the things that made him happy that day.
First off, kids DO remember, AND it's a bonding experience, but the memory-making is for the PARENTS as well. I feel a little bad for the kids whose parents think like this. Jeez. Anyway...really enjoyed the video, it looked like so much fun! I wish we had places like this in Canada.
They remember at a very young age. Also, they might not have cognizant memory of things, but they sure have a happy feeling about it -- part of the reason why they like matsuri when they become adults.
My parents took me to do many fun things and I may not remember them all but I do remember always feeling happy. I had a great childhood and you are doing the same for Wolfy. Keep being the amazing and supportive parents that you are. 💜
I agree 100%. Even though kids don't remember things they experienced when they are still super young, the memories for us parents seeing their reactions is enough to just continue exploring the world with our kids. When they can remember, we can bring them back anytime. Just like my 10 year old daughter, I told her we've been to Disneyland California and Hong Kong but she was 3 and 5 back then so she can't remember. But we have videos to show her how happy she were when she saw Mickey and Minnie for the 1st time :D We are planning to take them again next year.
Even if your children are too young to remember something, you as the parent are allowed to take them places and do things with them to build your own memories. You're spending time with your children and everyone is having fun. That's what's important!
Look at how smart he is though. Taking him to all these places is so fun to watch. And i just can't believe how smart he is amd that because of all the adventures you take him on. I did all kinds of stuff with my kids when they were little like that. Haters must be miserable amd jealous
Hi kuya paulo don't worries what people say about wolfy can't remember believe me or not having a child is the most precious gift and once our child got enjoyed we parents are very happy to see our child got excited and wow everything what they see and touch. Go brother paulo wolfy is very blessed to have you 🥰🥰🥰
YES! Enjoy the moment! Wolfy is enjoying the moment. He can watch the videos to spark his memory...but it's all about being mindful in the present! (Aloha, from Hawai....btw, we just returned from Tokyo and Kyoto!)
I love watching your family and the beautiful memories that you are making and sharing with us I hope you guys keep make them for us and for yourselves to
Experiences are so important developmentally for kids! As a teacher, we can predict a student's early achievement based on the life experiences they have had. Also, if they have been read too!
Some of my EARLIEST memories are the special occasion days like this, anybody saying otherwise is just dead wrong. Practically the only memories I still have from pre-kindgergarten are of fair days and festivals and holiday parties. Celebration breaks from routine are ALWAYS high-memory events. Party on.
Don't listen to people that say that, I hear it all the time. I agree, It doesn't matter if he won't remember but the excitement in his eyes is everything and you don't know how long you have with eachother so enjoy each moment ♥️ you both are amazing parents!

Enjoy every moment you can have with your son and wife... each day is a memory😊.
That's adorable, I'm so happy for y'all!
Wolfy will remember, and you are creating beautiful family memories with him
I don't remember alot from my childhood , but i feel love thru the times that my parents showed time and affection towards me.
Yes, that's true -- Even if Wolfy doesn't remember it later on, he surely has enjoyed it in the moment with you two and that is all that matters.🥰 Just like what you said, we don't know what will happen in the (near) future so we might as well treasure every moment we have with our loved ones :)
Besides, Wolfy can always watch these videos again when he grows up and he will be so proud and grateful that you two had brought him to these festivals ⭐
Totally agree with you on why it's so worth it to bring your kids to fun places even if they might not remember 10 years from now. The experiences they have now will shape their view of the world at least within the near future! People who say it's not worth it are those who are just lazy and boring parents. Period!
It's quite likely such naysayers are _not_ parents.
I'm 33 years old now. I can remember back to when I was 4 years old. I would hug my mothers leg and stand on her feet as she walk.
Wolfy will remember! Even if it's not vivid, he got the socialization, the fun, the toys, and as a family it's an important bonding experience. Plus, you have videos now to show Wolfy when he's older!!
0:14 "WOLFY 2 yeas old" Hell yea!
He's going to have these videos of his childhood forever, your family will be so grateful for this! Keep doing you Paolo and Maiko. You guys are wonderful parents thank you for sharing this little moments with us.
what you said at the end of your video is so so true. Always do stuff with your family because you never know how much time you have left with them.
I completely agree with your statement. You never know how long you have with eachother so enjoy each and every moment ❤
Don’t worry about those comments!! As a mother of a 17 year old son I recognized long ago it’s all about the memories that first you and your wife and later you, your wife and son create together. I love watching your channel and we hope to visit Tokyo in 2024!
Absolutely take your son everywhere !! It’s the beauty of creating memories💕
Such great parents to a sensitive and deep little fella that seems to know how small he is yet!
Kids remember everything good and bad. More happy family more family devotion
Just enjoy every travel that you have with wolfy
I’m glad you do stuff with him already 💜 it’s still extremely good for him to experience things at this age
I’m sure these videos will be archived for Wolfy to see later. If my childhood experiences were recorded at age 1 or 2, the memories would come rushing back pretty quick I would think. Good for you for doing this with him. Love your videos
(4:06) The little girl in her little yellow kimono... how cute!😊🌞
You do whatever you want to. Life is precious and u seem like excellent parents !
I love what you have said at the last part. I feel thesame way when I took my kid to disney when he just turn 3. And in my surprise he still remember it til now. not all the details but the things that made him happy that day.
Hey Paolo! Cool to see another video with Wolfy!
First off, kids DO remember, AND it's a bonding experience, but the memory-making is for the PARENTS as well. I feel a little bad for the kids whose parents think like this. Jeez. Anyway...really enjoyed the video, it looked like so much fun! I wish we had places like this in Canada.
"...the memory making is for the parents as well." That hit hard. So true! Thanks for the reminder.
They remember at a very young age. Also, they might not have cognizant memory of things, but they sure have a happy feeling about it -- part of the reason why they like matsuri when they become adults.
What fun! and your so right on your final comments, enjoy the time together now.
My parents took me to do many fun things and I may not remember them all but I do remember always feeling happy. I had a great childhood and you are doing the same for Wolfy. Keep being the amazing and supportive parents that you are. 💜
I definitely still remember things from when I was very young, so keep taking him on fun journeys like this!
Good memories stay with you, no matter your age. And your experiences of joy and wonder stay with you, your experiences build you as a person.
Even if your children are too young to remember something, you as the parent are allowed to take them places and do things with them to build your own memories. You're spending time with your children and everyone is having fun. That's what's important!
I remember when I was small going to these fun places my parents took me, so you both doing a good job Paulo & Maiko ^_^ and Wolfy look so happy
We took our son and daughter everywhere we went, (and still do) and of course Disney World. I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything . ❤
Look at how smart he is though. Taking him to all these places is so fun to watch. And i just can't believe how smart he is amd that because of all the adventures you take him on. I did all kinds of stuff with my kids when they were little like that. Haters must be miserable amd jealous
it's so cute to see him do the outro with you!
Hi kuya paulo don't worries what people say about wolfy can't remember believe me or not having a child is the most precious gift and once our child got enjoyed we parents are very happy to see our child got excited and wow everything what they see and touch. Go brother paulo wolfy is very blessed to have you 🥰🥰🥰
His having fun dude, don't worry what people say, his your kiddo :)
i love the ending comment talk!!!! youre a great family!!! cheers to adulting and parenthood!!!!! love it
YES! Enjoy the moment! Wolfy is enjoying the moment. He can watch the videos to spark his memory...but it's all about being mindful in the present! (Aloha, from Hawai....btw, we just returned from Tokyo and Kyoto!)
I love watching your family and the beautiful memories that you are making and sharing with us I hope you guys keep make them for us and for yourselves to
Don't worry about what other people say. Keep doing you and enjoy your family outings.
Experiences are so important developmentally for kids! As a teacher, we can predict a student's early achievement based on the life experiences they have had. Also, if they have been read too!
I absolutely love you guys. The perfect family. 🥰
Do what you think is best for you and your family. Please continue to make memories.
Go Wolfy. Such a lovely trip.
@7:30 this is exactly why we're deciding to come to japan in 2024 with our 3-4 year old and have an annual pass to disney world here in Florida
