Join Joe, Jakkie and Tommy as they deliver a message on the weekly Torah Portion, seeking for Yahshua (Jesus) and His love on every page.
Every Friday 7pm UK Time, 2pm ET, 11am PT.
    *******
    Va’etchanan - “And I Pleaded”
    Deuteronomy 3:23 - 7:11
After being told that he would not enter into the promised land, Moses proclaims to the children of Israel that he pleaded with God in a petition that would allow him to enter into the promised land. God had refused his plea, but this refusal was accepted in humility by Moses. God then instructs Moses to ascend a mountain to see and experience the promised land first-hand from a distance. Though Moses is forbidden to cross the Jordan, he is permitted to gaze upon the land from the top of the Pisgah. Here Moses has a spiritual experience and a divine encounter with the Promised Land, perceiving many things, including what was to come in Israel’s future, the future Messiah and the last days.
Moses is then compelled to tell the Israelites again to follow the laws and decrees given to them, so that they and their children will have long and prosperous lives when they enter the Land. Moses goes on to proclaim that the key elements of their survival are education, obedience and remembrance. However, Moses’ prophecies reveal that the future generation will eventually turn away from God and begin to worship idols. He says that the children of Israel will be scattered among the nations and will eventually become humbled, turning back and seeking after God, returning to obey his commandments so as to be rescued once again.
The Parsha concludes with the repetition of the ‘Ten Words’ (or more commonly known as the ‘Ten Commandments’) and the proclamation of the ‘Shema’, a declaration of love, faith and unity towards God, reiterated and refreshed by the voice of our Master Yeshua during his ministry as a representation of the foundational principles of our obedience to the ways of El Shaddai.

I have listened to this 3x...this is an excellent, soul enlightening teaching on one of the biggest questions of Torah: why Moses could not enter the Land. ..been in our Hebraic understanding 24yrs now, never heard this explained in such a way:Moses/Torah can only take you so far; Joshua/Yeshua, The One, Door/Gate only one who can bring you into Promised Land/Kingdom. ..Blessed to have found Almond House!! Thank you

Praise Yah... only Yeshua can bring us through the waters of rebirth and into the promised land. Beautiful teaching🤍
Never thought of the likeness between Moses and Yeshua in that Moses denied/laid down his own life to save his brother... love this💙

Glad to see more and more people turning to Yah through the obedience of Torah. Yahshua kept the law perfectly and we are to disciple after him by obeying Torah.

Adonai bless you! I always enjoy watching the parashah explained through your ministry. I used to attend both an Orthodox Synagogue and Chabad. Your insight is much deeper and more comprehensive than those two places I used to attend. How I wish I could gather with you there or with similar like-minded believers here. One of the messages you touched on was Adonai not allowing Moses to cross over. When you mentioned that Adonai said enough after Moses asked once again for permission, that really resonated with me. I have been waiting to gather with like-minded believers similar to you guys. I even opened my house for others to be able to celebrate erev Shabbat and/or study the Bible. Yet nothing has happened despite my searching for several months. Then I got in a bicycle accident which forced me to be at home for at least a week. To make matters worse, on the day that I was going to resume my regular routine, I got sick the next day. I'm still at home a week later, which makes it a little more than 2 weeks now. So I see there's a reason or several why Adonai has allowed me to remain here at home for so long. I'm still mourning my mother's death 4 months later after I found her deceased on her bed. Yet, I go to her room because it's bigger and I celebrate erev Shabbat there. I study there as well. Adonai is allowing me to confront such things as depression and trauma head on. This will allow me to be able to sustain greater trials and tribulations later in life because we all know Adonai allows them for particular reasons and periods as we follow Him closely in this world.

Agree!! I thought the same thing. At one special moment when Moses saw the promised land from a distance, he must have heard God whispering in his soul. Trust me.
The next scene must have been a look at the heavenly promised land. Like a kid watching a sunset with his dad. Moses could not beleive his eyes!

I was struck at how Moses' failing Yah and being punished led to Yahusha being the leader of Yah's people into the land.. Romans 8:28, even our failings can be used by Him.

We cannot enter the promised land alone, but with a heart for YAHUVEH'S will, not the ways of our world, but we need YAHUSHUA to wash away our sins and give us a heart to give all that we have and all that we are to be that which He has designed for us. Our trust in our loving Father is our gift to Him and His gift to us.

Does this Fellowship study Biblical Cosmology? Moses did not believe that we are on a ball spinning through endless space, and neither should we.
That is what the world wants us to believe.

That's a long story. But I guess it really all started with me looking into the moon landings a few years ago.
Long story short, it really all just ties into what the bible says vs what the world wants us to believe -
Are we monkies on a ball spinning through space?
Or mankind made in the image of God above?
One thing is true, we've all been lied to, and the devil has deceived the world.
If you believe the bible is the Holy spirit inspired word of Yah, then you owe it to yourself to ask the question, why did the ancient Hebrews believe in a earth under water enclosed in a dome called the Firmament?
"The One who builds His upper chambers in the heavens And has founded His vaulted dome over the earth, He who calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the face of the earth, YHWH is His name."
      Amos 9:6 NASB

    Nay
Yeshua is the Torah made flesh.
The message to be understood is, Moses was great but he was not perfect. Only one who kept Torah Perfectly, one who NEVER Sinned, can be the one who pays the price for sinners.
The message is not about torah being this or that, its about who is qualified to be our redeemer. And as humble and good as Moses was, he even disobeyed YHVH when striking the rock and not giving glory to YHVH for the water in the presence of the people. So Moses did not keep Torah well enough.
Jesus on the other hand, Kept the Law perfectly just as he was commanded by the Father.
The reward for keeping the Law is being allowed into the promise land. Moses was not allowed (the earthly promise land). Yeshua qualified to enter the heavenly promise land and to rule in the earthly promise land.
Any interpretation of this matter that makes less of the law is just wrong. Yeshua is the Torah made flesh. He is the messenger of the Father of the Law. He came to be a witness of its truth and origin.
You cant say the law doesnt matter, not since Jesus is the Law and will be enforcing the letter of the law during the millennium.
