I sure missed a bunch of your blogs. Im just scrolling and finding a bunch of them . This ones a massive yacht. I could take all of my kid and still have room for more. Thank you
Hi James. She, this yacht, looks very nice. I like the team flooring through out her. The duplex like down stairs set up is very nice. The sleeping spaces are very as well. The pilot area is excellent. Yes, the kitchen area really great for a great chef. Thank you for the tour. Great job of a fine looking yacht.
Lovely boat, would be a dream to own something like this for me and the family but how would you go with courses and what qualifications to do with boats would be a necessity. Thanks James, another great boat
One of the best looking yachts out there. I'd love to be able to come down and have a look on it. Always wanted to have a wonder on the sunseeker 95. Tell you what James, if my numbers come in on the euros, I'll be straight on the phone ha. Cracking little video too👌
Good look around a lovely boat everything seems well designed. 95ft Sunseeker going to make someone happy 26kn. would have liked to see engines and crew area.
Hi Brian, sorry I had already covered these areas on this yacht a couple of weeks before, have a look on my other videos and you will find her....worth a watch as the engine room is fabulous.
@James, loving the brand. This particular 95 is calling out P A R T Y to me. A bit overwhelming for me to call her an owner operated Yacht but that would be my lack of experience. Not in the market for this range but I thoroughly enjoy your videos.
James, thanks for another great vid. How much does it add to the price to have a Sunseeker like this prepped with 240/60 electrics for the USA? Great boat, Great presentation. Your Mum should be proud!
Hey, sorry I didn’t go into the tech stuff so much in this one, as it was in the other video. Yes she has hydro vector fin stabilisers for both zero speed and under way. If you have a look at the link at end of video, it will take you to the tour I shot during lockdown, where we did the crew and engine room as well. Worth a watch, as the engine room is beautiful.
Hi Randie, yes we can build to US 110v electrics. The next available unsold 95Y is scheduled for September 2021 offline. If you would like to discuss further, please drop me an email: james@sunseekersouthampton.com
Good Question One i would like to know, I'm not sure but above 24mts you need a crew is this correct James, do you offer any intense training courses if a said purchaser came along, i have radio licence and have completed Day Skipper course and messed around in boats up to 20' but nothing like this.?
The majority of yachts this size generally have some kind of captain/crew. We have a few owners who like to do everything themselves (with their families), but if she was operating for charter, there would likely be 4 crew onboard - captain, chef, hostess, deckhand (with overlapping roles) to a certain extent. From a regulatory point of view, up to circa 95ft is doable as a private individual, then it gets more complicated (above what we call 24M load line), where 'safe manning levels' dictate that a crew (usually 5-6 are required), so running costs jump up condiderably. Theoretically, an ICC covers up to 24m, so that would give you a valid license, although the reality (insurance generally), you'd be looking at wanting to be nearer coastal skipper. We took an owner from novice to a commercial yachmaster in a few months on a yacht similar to this, so anything is possible if you have the time. Hope that helps! James
You've done it again, James. We all appreciate these tours. You''re giving us all the same tour as if we were a client rolling up to your office in person. Nice to see this 95 in show-ready condition, with the bright sun it's a different experience than the other video. Does she have fin stabilizers? And something I've always wondered, what's it like at sea? Do large planing yachts rise much by the bow or do they run pretty flat?
Hey, sorry I didn’t go into the tech stuff so much in this one, as it was in the other video. Yes she has hydro vector fin stabilisers for both zero speed and under way. With a yacht of this size, she’s still a fully planing hull form, but the transition from displacement to planing is more like a hydrofoil, as the speed increases, she rises out of the water more horizontal than a small sports boat. There is some bow rise, but it isn’t quite like how you would say on a small boat “getting over the hump”. I’ll do a running video at some point to demonstrate.
Hi, James ! Very nice tour, as usual. 👍 When you say owner-operator, does it mean that this boat can still be under the 24m regulation ? I thought it was maximum 78 feet / 24m length... (lwl or loa ?)
Hey Luc, the regulations in most countries refer to a load line measurement of 24 metres for owner-operator use. (you’ll have to google it as it’s a calculated measurement of the overall length at a given point in the hull). In simple terms, with some clever engineering, the hull can be made to fall within the limits (on a 28m hull, that generally means that there is a hypothetically removable bow section - which this yacht has), and the bathing platform isn’t part of the calculation. This is about the max size that can be made to fit within the regs (we are actually working on a 100Yacht project at the moment, which will still comply).

Thnx James, appreciate the tours and hopefully it also helps with the sales so its win win for all.
Another stunning boat from Sunseeker, with a very informative video, well done James. My stocks will have to rally a bit to afford this one!

Hi James, can I enquire as to the range of this thing of beauty?
Thanks.
Hi Steve, around 1250 nautical miles at 12knots, reducing to approx 500nm around 20 knots.
@@TheVirtualYachtBroker thanks James.
James you didn’t show crew or engine quarters ... and has the yacht got stabilizers

She’s a Beauty ♥️
Does anyone request the colour to be different James and why is the outer hull always white ?
We offer hulls in white/blue/black/grey in the gelcoat, otherwise it's a custom paint job and then you can literally pick whatever you like!
Can it be spected for Bahamas & US waters? Ultimate home would be South Padre.. Texas US

What set of training and certification would a novice new owner need to be able to operate safely?

What I don’t like is that you can hear the water outside banging against the hull
Whoever buys it, could you please please let me come along on a trip! Please please pretty please!

Thanks for your quick answer, James.
I’ll investigate a bit on that. 👍
Wonderful job you are doing there. Thank you !
Gday! I'm just wondering if anyone can make a super yacht that runs on hydrogen ?
