What a wealth of information Georgi provides. It seems like there's nothing he doesn't know, no research publication he hasn't read and memorized. His mind is awesome.

Georgi's cancer research may be leading somewhere really good, but I keep hearing him warning against too much fat and about oxidation of fat. Some time ago a confronted Georgi and Danny Roddy about this in a live chat and I made them clarify what they mean when they refer to oxidation of fat, and they admitted they were talking about polyunsaturated fats. I wish they would always made this qualification whenever they talk about this. Very confusing.
Still have found that overdoing saturated fat can be problematic for many (for carb metabolism and for health) - why I like more of a moderate fat approach.
@@StrongSistas Thanks for that! When I started bioenergetics, I assumed I was still supposed to be doing full fat meats and dairy, and I did start gaining some weight, LOL, so I just switched to 93/7 ground beef and non-or low-fat dairy-and not to mention that lower fat is better for insulin resistance. I had gained weight on high fat carnivore, so I am hoping this works, but regardless, I’m glad to be eating carbohydrates again, as I really do feel from all of the research that it is the healthiest way to be. Thank you both for all you do! I’m so thankful for the people online helping to educate us!
- Vitamin B6 is helpful if you have recurring nightmares also. The important thing is the TYPE of the vitamin itself. You have to take P5P type - Vitamin B1 is essential if you have fatty liver or alcoholic which in turn will give you fatty liver. Even regular doctors know this. My brother was an alcoholic and in the healing process his doctor prescribed him some B1. Again the TYPE is important. You have to take either BENFOTHIAMINE or just THIAMINE from the brand Thiamax. This contradicts Dr Sircus sodium bicarbonate theory. Thank you so much for all you do getting this content out.
Egg yolk fat is about 46% oleic acid, an omega-9 monounsaturated fat, 38% saturated fat, and 16% polyunsaturated fats . The PUFA ratio depends on how the chickens were raised. If you raise a chicken on grain feed, it has no choice but to be full of PUFA. If raised on fruits, bugs and coconuts, no PUFAs. Same with chicken meat and pig meat. Egg yellows are highly nutrient dense, but you might wanna avoid the egg whites, there are four toxins in egg whites.
We are recording the next episode next week! We will have Kathleen on the podcast many many times if she allows us :p She has a young child and we have a farm so it has been hard for us to coordinate a time - but don't worry, more episodes coming soon!!!
Not sure that I agree that one is going to have a palpable effect every time they take a supplement, and if they don't feel that effect, that it is not necessary to take it. Many supplements have sub-clinical effects that are not noticeable, yet are still beneficial to optimizing levels in the body, or working as protective nutrients in complex systems in the body. Georgi still has some of that Ray Peat mentality that is perverse to what some of the science shows, and why Ray often threw the baby out with the bath water on many valuable nutrients and compounds. Having said that, I think it is good to pulse dose, rotate, or take breaks from things {even food}, since the body gets acclimated and tends to attenuate the response to things.
To activate the meridian points on the bottom of your feet, get two golf balls, roll them around on the balls and heels of the feet for a few minutes. A valuable, cheap, hack to do what those shoes or other devices do, simple and inexpensive.
I think he mentioned this on another podcast, the more PUFA you eat or have stored the more Vitamin-E you need, they are also anti-estrogenic. I’m not sure about the dosage but many supplements are overdosed to a comical degree. There are some that offer a dose below 50mg and made from palm oil instead of e.g. soy or other seed-oils.
@Strong.Sistas could you comment on how much dietary fat you think a human being should be consuming on a daily basis in terms of grams (ball park / best guess) I worry about my fat intake after hearing this discussion. I love my pasture raised eggs and and raw butter, coconut oil…etc
I would love to know where to get, and how take the 2 hydroxy benzoic acid ( ??? ). I have RA and have tried everything but have never heard of this. Of course i would try it!
I keep hearing that omega 3 fatty acids are somehow a nutrient, and that you should have a high omega 3 to omega 6 fatty acids ratio, but I wonder if it is better to simply reduce or eliminate omega 6 (and 9) fatty acids without adding omega 3s.
Lol I swear y'all are junkies. You want to know what blocks cortisol better than any of these garbage supplements and hormones? Food and sugar. Taste good and is good for you.
There's only one big thing on the list that I think you and Georgi missed..... high iron. High iron is associated with pretty much every degenerative disease, including cancer, diabetes and heart disease, and iron lowering strategies in those with high or even the so called "High Normal" iron to near deficiency levels reduces the incidence of those diseases, and also improved glucose utilization. And thanks to "iron fortification," it's a much bigger problem, especially if you eat grains like wheat or rice, or take iron containing vitamins. This is one that seems to get overlooked so often in the bioenergetic and alternative health spheres, but is cheap and easy to detect, as is treatment if iron is high.
Georgie and Ray have talked about Iron ad naseum. Ray has an article on it, Georgie has dozens of studies at his website based on excess iron, Iron toxicity. They have explained many times how blood test for iron products are feeble and false. Georgie can only discuss 20 things at a time.
I have a low level understanding of the prometabolic perspective on Omega 3 and B1. I have pretty agonizing skin problems that have only gotten worse since going prometabolic and even supplementing with mega doses of B1 (around 1g) hasn't helped. I recently tried adding Omega 3 and it's been giving me some much needed relief. ... I'm just gonna do what works and try to learn better as I go. Didn't Dr Knobbe say on your show that he's a big fan of Omega 3?
@@StrongSistas I had followed Morley Robbins in the past)I remember you had him on as well) he is a big believer in Cod Liver oil...do you not agree with that
@@Heracleetus if you eat food you get plenty of omega 3's. The acne could be from something you are eating that doesnt agree with your digestion. Forget all the supplements and other crap that these fake "gurus" are trying to sell you and just eat food. Ray Peat was against supplements and advocated for food to be your medicine.
Why do Peaters seem to avoid real genuine Niacin (nicotinic acid) in favor of niacinamide which only powers the inferior "salvage pathway" for NAD synthesis?
Jeez. I have been taking high dose omega 3 with supplements n healthy omega 9s as been very ill. I eat whole foods, and recently diagnosed at type 2 diabetes. WTH!!
Vegetable oil, peanut oil, canola oil, rapeseed oil, palm oil, corn oil, grapeseed oil, avocado oil, etc. All of these weird oils are polyunsaturated fats.
I like Georgi, but when he says low carbers can't sprint.. it's just not true. Last summer I was doing carnivore and sprinting like crazy, as well as doing a very active outdoor job.
Wouldnt it depend on how well liver is storing glycogen? People with damaged matabolisms tend not to store sufficient glycogen or maybe use it faster than can make it?
So excited to see georgi back here. Not to mean this in a disrespectful way, but why is Georgi fat? If anyone has heard him talked about why i’d love to hear the reason. My speculation would be that it’s because he doesn’t want to induce stress by losing weight but I don’t know.
I caught the last one with Dr. Mercola, and I felt like Dr. Mercola was very respectful and you could tell he was really enjoying the conversation with Georgi! Dr. Mercola brought up many interesting and relevant points. It was a great podcast!
I wish Georgi would answer this. He says cancer is metabolizing fat instead of sugar but a pet scan uses radioactive glucose to locate cancer ...how do you explain that?
I highly doubt he said that , although I didn't go back and listen; but I've heard him talk about CA metabolism many times, so know he does not believe that. Cancer cells cannot use fat, nor can they use glucose PROPERLY, but only do glycolysis, the first step, which is more primitive. Normally then glucose (and fats) are processed in the mitochondria via oxidative metabolism. The end product of glycolysis is lactate/lactic acid, which then builds up. So yes, the PET scan will locate CA cells based on the higher rate of glycolysis. Many say cancer 'thrives on sugar', assuming sugar is 'feeding' the cancer, but it's really that CA can't process the sugar properly, and produces too much lactic acid.
He said that drugs that block lipolysis like insulin and meldonium forces the cells to use glucose. He said cancer is like diabetes type 1 and is oxidizing fat right in the beginning....
I tried to call Dr. Matthews but he is no longer there. I am in need of professional to help with supportive metabolic care in a spinocereballar atrophy case.
This is over-engineering. No one will drop your dumbells for every curl. Dont do it, its retarded. Just dont overthink this stuff, train normally at the gym.
In my 70’s low carb or keto for 10 years. I had none of these things. I walked 5 miles, worked out. Active, worked. No fatigue. Good digestion. But I under ate to a scary degree. I’m eating more the last 8 months with lots of fruit. Basically keto (less fat) and fruit as I test what works for me.
@@TravisTellsTruthsit’s not keto. Jay Feldman calls a plan to get off keto and low carb by eating keto like protein with fruit to cycle off low carb. My slow added carbs are mostly fruit. Not as much fat though. I’m familiar with keto foods and then I’m adding fruit slowly. No starches and limited dairy but I will add those slowly. I found I can’t do milk. Only yogurt and cheese. @@cammieklundthis is not real keto. I’m eating a lower fat keto for protein and slowly adding fruit. It’s testing my tolerance for dairy and starches.
Feed chickens dog food ,they like it better. Lol
There are toxins in all foods. The dosage makes the poison
When we can we expect the next Kathleen Stewart episode, I am looking forward to hearing the rest of the conversation you three were having?
We are recording the next episode next week! We will have Kathleen on the podcast many many times if she allows us :p She has a young child and we have a farm so it has been hard for us to coordinate a time - but don't worry, more episodes coming soon!!!
Thank you strong sistas ❤️
Does liposomal vitamin C contain PUFA? where can I find info. Is 10g of liposomal vitamin C too high in PUFA?
Is there a link to doctors that will handle cancer the way that Georgie explained it?
What form ofs B1, B3, and B7 are talking about? And what dosages?
Thiamine HCL
Just eat nutritious food. All these supplement pimps are scammers. They also never tell you that you can overdose on these supplements.
What dosage of niacinamide and how many times a day?
I would love to hear Georgi’s thoughts on the rise in testicular cancer in young men. My son had it and I’m terrified it will come back.
To activate the meridian points on the bottom of your feet, get two golf balls, roll them around on the balls and heels of the feet for a few minutes. A valuable, cheap, hack to do what those shoes or other devices do, simple and inexpensive.
Could you talk about tocotrienols? Are they beneficial at all?
I think he mentioned this on another podcast, the more PUFA you eat or have stored the more Vitamin-E you need, they are also anti-estrogenic. I’m not sure about the dosage but many supplements are overdosed to a comical degree. There are some that offer a dose below 50mg and made from palm oil instead of e.g. soy or other seed-oils.
Does someone know if Georgie still activ in the ray peat or another forum?
Where can a regular person get 26 dihydroxy benzoic acid? Can anyone get it or is it prescription only?
These two hours flew by!
What are thoughts on Dr. Johanna Budwig and the oil protein diet.
I have no idea what that is but it doesn’t sound good 😂 why do people look for extremes?
What is the recommendation of aspirin for women? If we start 2x a month what would the dosing look like again?
Georgi said 15mg/kg of body weight.
Don't take aspirin. Eat fruit which does the same thing but is a million times better and doesn't have side effects.
@Strong.Sistas could you comment on how much dietary fat you think a human being should be consuming on a daily basis in terms of grams (ball park / best guess) I worry about my fat intake after hearing this discussion. I love my pasture raised eggs and and raw butter, coconut oil…etc
Georgi needs to be careful to distinguish between PUFAs and saturated fats. He usually glosses over this subject.
Between 50-100 grams - will vary depending on activity, muscle mass, goals.
@@StrongSistas Thank you! (Typing this as I literally chomp on a block of Parmigiano Reggiano) LOL
Under 10 grams. Fat clogs the arteries.
@@StrongSistas the rice diet that is referred to in this podcasts consists of only 5gs
I would love to know where to get, and how take the 2 hydroxy benzoic acid ( ??? ). I have RA and have tried everything but have never heard of this. Of course i would try it!
He said sigma Aldrich
I wish he would sell it at idea labs. I tried to order from sigma and it took me around in circles
@@marlenecampbell5439 yes, i wish he would sell it!! Let me know if you find it elsewhere
I keep hearing that omega 3 fatty acids are somehow a nutrient, and that you should have a high omega 3 to omega 6 fatty acids ratio, but I wonder if it is better to simply reduce or eliminate omega 6 (and 9) fatty acids without adding omega 3s.
So who is the other doctor? I could only hear Dr. Charles... I don't see a link,
Georgi mentions using a drug to block cortisol peripherally, can the same blocking be done using high dosages of exogenous testosterone ?
Yeah probably. Or any of the other androgens. All are anticortisol.
Lol I swear y'all are junkies. You want to know what blocks cortisol better than any of these garbage supplements and hormones? Food and sugar. Taste good and is good for you.
@@adamcatchesfish6148 going to give 250mg sustanon a try!
Georgi sounds so crisp now. He's come a long way
Interesting, though contrarian, perspective on Omega-3s. May have to experiment with removing Omega-3s from my nutrition protocol.
Do not recommend going out of your way to add Omega 3s
Histamine.
@@cremes thanks
Also increases lipolysis.
Real "peaters" don't take supplements. If y'all truly listened to peat you would know he was against supplements and advocated food.
Jeez. I have been taking high dose omega 3 with supplements n healthy omega 9s as been very ill. I eat whole foods, and recently diagnosed at type 2 diabetes. WTH!!
Can you please explain what Pufer is in exact form? Xx
Polyunsaturated fats. PUFA. Vegetable oils.
Vegetable oil, peanut oil, canola oil, rapeseed oil, palm oil, corn oil, grapeseed oil, avocado oil, etc. All of these weird oils are polyunsaturated fats.
Avocado is mono isn’t?
He returns
Thank God its Wednesday
Does he have his own individual platform ?
So how are you supposed to burn excess body fat if you're not supposed to be in lipolysis
When he means fats is he refferiny to saturated or pufa
The izrul paradox. Mass insanity due to high pufas?
I like Georgi, but when he says low carbers can't sprint.. it's just not true. Last summer I was doing carnivore and sprinting like crazy, as well as doing a very active outdoor job.
Same here
Wouldnt it depend on how well liver is storing glycogen? People with damaged matabolisms tend not to store sufficient glycogen or maybe use it faster than can make it?
So excited to see georgi back here. Not to mean this in a disrespectful way, but why is Georgi fat? If anyone has heard him talked about why i’d love to hear the reason. My speculation would be that it’s because he doesn’t want to induce stress by losing weight but I don’t know.
Probably from all the supplements and hormones he takes. His body is obviously not healthy.
Does Georgi still do interviews with mercola? Mercola is good at simplifying and breaking down the information into actionable steps.
Actionable steps is always nice!! 😅
He had a recent one where Mercola bullied the conversation. Georgi didn't speak enough.
Oh yeah he still does and you definitely should check their last one as Dr Mercola was totally merciless on the mic to say the least😊😅
Yes he does
I caught the last one with Dr. Mercola, and I felt like Dr. Mercola was very respectful and you could tell he was really enjoying the conversation with Georgi! Dr. Mercola brought up many interesting and relevant points. It was a great podcast!
Georgi is right, our body is an ecosystem (Complex Adaptive System), not just a complicated machine...
How does one do concentric only weight training???😅
Drop your weights instead of lowering them.
This is over-engineering. No one will drop your dumbells for every curl. Dont do it, its retarded. Just dont overthink this stuff, train normally at the gym.
What implications does this knowledge have for intermittent fasting? Is it good/bad? How much is too much fasting?
In my 70’s low carb or keto for 10 years. I had none of these things. I walked 5 miles, worked out. Active, worked. No fatigue. Good digestion. But I under ate to a scary degree. I’m eating more the last 8 months with lots of fruit. Basically keto (less fat) and fruit as I test what works for me.
Bro. Fruit is definitely the opppsite of Keto.
Keto is high fat. Lots of fruits are not keto.
It’s testing my tolerances and food that agrees with me. It’s felt good. Cheers. I’m a dudette. 😀
@@cammieklundthis is not real keto. I’m eating a lower fat keto for protein and slowly adding fruit. It’s testing my tolerance for dairy and starches. So zero carb diet, like carnivore is not good????
He looks like he could do with a month or two on low carb.
He was one of the early carnivores, like Danny Rodney. Paul Saladino and Co are only catching up, then ditching it after years living on stress hormones, with an unhealthy low body fat.
However, aspirin is a blood thinner. Large doses causes heavy bleeding.
