Great video, and nice to hear your thoughts about equipment. About shoes, i have been playing with Salming for the last couple of years and they are good. I figured out that if i superglue the stitching at the front of the shoe, it holds together much better than the original stitching - that would probably also work for unihoc shoes.
I tried repairing shoes with glue, but it either doesnt hold very long or makes the front feel weird. But I could have done a bad job aswell, hehe.
I ny opinion. I think, regarding shoes.
1 : Oxdog XGUARD
2 : Salming Slide
3 : Unihoc
Havent tried Blindsave or wrestling shoes.
Thanks for making this, I'd definitely watch more gear breakdowns if you have additional gear you feel like reviewing. Or if you just ask around your league for what the other goalies are using. It's really hard to find info on things before buying, I've only seen a handful of goalies on RUclips so your work is appreciated.
I got the new Salming E-Series knee pads this season and I like them a lot. They're built like the Blindsave hard padding. Only thing I don't like is that the fabric they use isn't as soft as Blindsave, so you absolutely need pants over them. I'm looking to upgrade my shoes next season. It's nice to get a recommendation for the Oxdog, but I might just get wrestling shoes since they're much more accessible in America.
Wrestling shoes is something that high level goalies in Sweden also use. They fill the same role as a Floorball goalie shoe, but they are often more durable.
To be honest, I would love to try new kneepads, but they are so expensive and the Blindsave one "works" for me. So i'll just stick to them.
Yes the market of Goalie content for Floorball isnt that thriving. And I wish I had more time for it. I'll keep it in mind to do different things aswell.
Du borde prova brottarskor gick över från innebandy skor till brottarskor då jag anser att innebandyskor är så överprisade.. värt att prova jag kör på adidas för 400kr
Har faktiskt alltid varit sugen på att testa, men har aldrig riktigt tagit steget.
Pratade mycket om detta med Måns Parsjö när han bodde uppe i Umeå och spelade för IBK Dalen.
@@FloorballGoaliePoV innebandy skor bygger ju ändå på brottarskor så har typ samma kvalitet skillnaden är väl att innebandyskor har mer ”skydd”

Det jag söker med skor som målvakt är egentligen bara hållbarhet och att de ska kännas sköna att ha på sig.
Vet att brottarskor är mer slimmade och har inte lika mycket "padding". Hade varit intressant att se skillnaden på känslan av att dra skomaterialet mot golvet. Brottarskor är väl främst anpassade efter mjukt/blankt golv som inte har så sträv yta. Så kan tänka mig att på vissa golv känns det magiskt, och på vissa kanske lite sämre.

I like using a separate one. Feels better and its more comfortable. I feel like the one that comes within the shorts can't stay in a good position.

@@jusfinnnExactly. I removed the cup protection from the Blindsave shorts. Since I use another underneath. I like having shorts under the pants to firstly, keep the Blindsave velcro at place. And secondly, feels weird to have skin directly to the Goalie pants 👍
How u wash your suit
I mostly only wash my stuff that I wear under my Goalie Pants/Jersey.
I use liquid detergent made for sport combined with a homemade fabric softener (Vinegar/Water/Essential oils)
Synthetic wash program (low RPM and low temperature)
The stuff that I wash regulary:
- Kneepads
- Protection vests
- Goalie Pants
- Protection cup
- Gloves (I handwash these quite often instead of using a washing machine)
Also, during this season, I had to wash my goalie jersey I bit more often, but I try not to wash the pants/jersey that often.

Har inte så bra koll på det, då en del saker får jag genom föreningen/laget och en del saker har jag köpt på stora rabatter genom då föreningens samarbete med t.ex. Innebandykungen.
Är rätt dyrt med målvaktssaker nuförtiden. Men hel del kan man försöka köpa begagnat då jag anser att det inte har lika stor betydelse, t.ex skyddsvästen.
Dock, om jag skulle gå på nypris med allt som jag har nuförtiden (kanske borde göra en ny video)

Usage of steric is forbidden by the rules or am I fooling myself?
That is correct. Specifically Silicon spray. But no Referee here bothers when steric is used. Since it doesnt affect the floor like Silicon does.
So technically you could get a punishment for the use of steric. But I dont know anyone that has gotten that.

I think they are more strict about stuff like that in the highest league here in Sweden, not sure about the ones below.
