"I adore working with living composers" says Anna. Yes, easier than working with the deceased composers 😂

Aaaah heck no, imagine if you ignore one of the opinions that the compose lives and dies by, you will be be in a whole new world of trouble. Lets be honest, Mozart might stir a little, but won't give you lip ;)

The Bonobo video was just one year ago. Now look where she’s going. Discipline, passion, pure talent en intelligence. Well done you Anna. Now. Where’s my tea?

I was absolutely sure that Maurice Duruflé, who is the composer of this piece (the last part from his Requiem), is not among us anymore. But since Anna is talking about working with living composers, perhaps I should recheck my sources…

This is the In Paradisum by Ghislaine Reece-Trapp! Durufle also wrote one (based on the same plainsong melody) - they do sound remarkably similar and inhabit a very similar harmonic world :)

Amazing how her mind works and sees things. I would love to sit down and visit with her one day.
