- Join me and Paul as we hit up Chessington World Of Adventures on a not so busy Easter Sunday during their Eggsplorers event running till the 14th April 2024
We had an awesome day and got on so many rides with only Vampire getting long waits averaging around 60mins, most rides were on about 20mins all day
We drank Costa Coffee and rode coasters lol, it was also great to step back into the World of Jumanji and get back on the amazingly themed Croc Drop

Good to see you & Paul at Chessington there for the Eggsplorers event but what Paul said at the start ( best thing about coming to a theme park with me Andy thinks all the coffees are FREE 😂 ) - nice 1 guys 👍

Good vlog Andy, I like chessington but the ride availability is very poor generally, always seems to be multiple closures or downtime. Certainly need to improve that, great to see Paul again, he's top guy and apparently good for coffee 😂😂just saying! 😂It's absolutely good you know 🐛🐛

Went on Croc Drop today, I can say that you can see stealth and hyperia from croc drop but it is quite difficult to spot, I used google maps to look at the direction where Thorpe park is then looked that way and you can see it quite well if you look close.
Oh awesome, we definitely couldn’t see it on our ride that’s for sure

I think with Tomb blaster, they need to turn it back into Terror Tombs!!! or, probably best option, a new thing - as long as they take away the guns, the gunning dark ride has had its day IMO, they need to aspire to what AT did with Curse.
Impressive guys. I remember the last time I was there is when they had Holloween event for halloween. I even watched a show called Banyan Fire and Ice in Wild Asia. by the time I got home I had a colleague from Chessington messaged me and even though it was too late to do that but I almost got invited to go behind the scenes in the tiger house and I have to meet the keepers at the big orange tent in Land of the Tigers where Tiger Rock is and I would have met and be feeding the tigers. I have never done behind the scenes at theme parks before

Yeah man, to be honest we could have have had way more rides as we chilled out a lot of the time and left the park 30mins early

@Coaster_Crazy you managed to get on vampire before is broke down we had to wait for it to reopen 😂😂
I still cannot work out if Mandrill is good or not, it's the sort of thing I'd expect Cedar Point to do for young riders. However for Chessington I just see it as overkill, they could have whacked a Vekoma in and saved two thirds of the price.

I would go with you anytime
What I'd do if I were running a park like this or Alton Towers is I'd get rid of all the entertainers and performances. I'd then put those people as actors on specific rides, like you know when Wickerman opened and they had them there. I think that is a much better use to make the rides seem more immersive, rather than just having them being so cringe trying to put on a performance no one cares about. Whack them outside Oblivion and have them act like when they opened that ride and put them outside there. I do not understand why they aren't doing that? You could have them putting on a performance outside Nemesis acting like there is some crisis going on. It would be a way better use of them...
