Stumbled upon this mix back in 2012. Used to listen to it on the train to college every morning. Still just as enjoyable today as it was back then.

Fair play to these people, its so difficult to make this style of DNB. Most complicated drum algorithms and loops known in music.

What is a drum algorithm in this context? I know what rhythm is but I’ve never heard the word algorithm used like that before.
@@clag1109 This music invites to be creative this way. I'd say, a drum algorithm is a specific way the way, the music develops... while usually, you have one rhythm that is repeated through all of the track, in Drum'n'Bass, at least, in some tracks, there's so much going on in percussions and background, and it's always shifting.
Atmospheric D'n'B is all what we need.

when i was just a wee little boy i heard this kind of music and always liked it , when i tried to ask my mother to put something like this for me to listen , i always asked her for "space music " . she never understood what i wanted ..

this is perhaps some of the BEST atmospheric dnb I've listened to .... the entire two hours have been fantastic ... ASC's tracks are on youtube but most of the others from Galaxi's mix are unobtainable as far as I know, in my opinion they should be made available for buying, I'm sure lots of people would appreciate that. But for some reason beyond my knowledge certain really good tracks never get released (keeping those dubs until the end of days? whats the point?).
