    Passing Jett around the outside in the sand was the move of the race.

      That pass was savage. Considering the outside was slower a few laps later.

    Eli said this was the hardest he had raced and had no time to rest, both him and Jett rode great and it was good to watch, i know they made adjustments on the Honda which made it some what better today, but once they figure it out more, Jetts going to be able to push harder.

    Unbelievable commentary Weege! You really nailed the sentiment! What an amazing race. I just wish they could get those dang lapped ridders to get the F outta the way! Especially Freezer Head! That guy needs to be dealt with. He must have Friends in High places or dirt on someone cause He just keeps hurting people and outcomes.

    MY PERSONAL NOTES FOR THE MAIN EVENTS (IDGAF about practice or heats)
    · Yamaha blue balls on the 2nd half of that main event, reminded me of the Alonso vs Schumacher duels in Imola in like 2004 and 2005 - Tremendous show of skills and they were close... but no passes or mistakes happened!
    · The comeback part of the race was amusing. Malcolm and Hunter cost Jett around 3" and then C-Webb must've cost ET3 like 4" or more.
    · Hunter was way more proper than in A1 despite whatever was bothering him, that's nice
    · Prado again the worst of the factory guys that went the distance. He didn't get lapped, that's something... maybe.
    · The most interesting interviews for the post-race would be JCoop and Anderson because WTF happened in just 7 days
    · Good for Beaumer, Davies needs more training for long runs. Maybe Cole can do 15' great on his own but 15' while fighting feels like 20' or more and he can't handle it.
    · Jordon Smith ain't quite it but I don't think it's the Triumph, I'd describe that bike's performance as "generic" (I don't understand why Triumph got into this, it's not like you can boast about anything really in dirtbike racing even if you're great)
    · Surprisingly enough, Deegan lost a bit of time to Beaumer late in the race and also wasn't cutting much back when he had a clean track ahead earlier on.
    · Shimoda survived, basically did what Jett did 7 days ago (easy 7th is better than trying to kill yourself for 5th) but for different reasons
    · TV direction sucked for the 250F main event, much better job for the 450F one

    • @Sh1tstir
      @Sh1tstir Час назад

      Prado finished in front of Anderson my man so the worst factory guy was Anderson or if you want to include Beta it was Benny Bloss

    • @DanArnets1492
      @DanArnets1492 Час назад

      @Sh1tstir - Wait, Anderson crashed after ET3 crossed the line or what? I took the results from the final shot of the tower and Prado was like 3" behind JCoop, Anderson was like 6" ahead of Jorge

    Sets a new record as well, 11 years straight of winning!
    Also kudos to JoSho, racing with 2 broken fingers, that takes grit!
    Webb doesnt have the raw speed that Eli, Chase and Jett has. Eli and Jett blew by him, and Kenny. Nasty flu going thru the paddock eh, AP7 pulled out.
    What a magical night of racing! Tomac even proved RC wrong, haha!

    Hey weege love ya work mate but a quick one, what are the chances you can have a yarn to the camera crew. Consistently year after year they seem to fuck it up always…. Watching qualifying someone will be on a heater lap then they swap to Billy eating a hot dog in the stand then swap to someone on the start line. During heats and races there will be a close battle on and we’re watching 19th and 20th place rolling the whoops chasing their shadow. Cheers mate ❤

    As an *Eli* fan this wasn't "Beast Mode" he rode great, he got the start & held off *Jett.* I'll have to check Lap Times, because later wee he was 3rd fastest coming though tge pack
    When it comes to talk about age & family wasn't answered on this "Simple" track. Meaning there was no crazy rhythm. Like why he lost *Daytona* last year. When he wasn't willing to do the quad...

      Agree, Tomac rode amazing, probably as good as his prime years, but he still couldn't shake Jett off, and that Jett still didn't look that comfy to me, specially in the whoops, so looking forward to later round where both are at 100%

    Jett is definitely winning this title. His bike is still clearly not right and he was hounding Eli for half the race on a track that had no good passing zones.
    Jett will have the points lead by the end of Daytona and then it's over for everybody else.

    How good was the racing accross both classes. Bumed for Davies he was looking good until that 1 mistake it kind of shook him up for a couple of minutes thankfully for Deegan mind you.
    Jetts bike still looked like a dog in the whoops, every lap Tomac would pull 3 to 5 tenths every lap in that area and that usually was his 1 one wood back 24".

  • @GBayr8
    @GBayr8 5 часов назад

    Coming from a fairly bias, but self aware Tomac fan; I think the argument could be made that his peak “beastmode” A-game would beat any other all-time greats A-game. The only exception would be 02-04 outdoors Ricky, and when Yamaha eta Bubba in SX.

    • @LiverpoolFC914

      Its one race with Jett trying to sort out a new bike ,
      I am a big jett fan but everyone including me is a Tomac fan ,but c'mon Tomac was flying tonite , no one is going to begrudge Tomac winning , but be real Tomac best Beast Mode is not going to beat Jett Lawerence by 20 seconds heads up , its just not going to happen ,
      Give the Kid some credit , whether you like it or not Jett is already an all time legend.-
      when Jett sorts that bike out it will be back to Jett winning everything.

    • @Sh1tstir
      @Sh1tstir Час назад

      The only reason your not calling this a beast mode ride is because Jett hung with him the whole way. The pair of them put seconds into Webb once they passed him it was definitely beast mode you could see at the end of the race he was pretty gassed that was maximum effort, Jett was bouncing round like it was nothing im sure he was feeling it to but he was genuinely stoked and had energy ....... youthful exuberance maybe. It was seriously like watching Reed v Charmicheal just stalking each other. The big difference was whoop speed Eli was just faster through them the Honda still looks funky in them.

    My take Sexton is looking the best right now but has less room for improvement as the season goes on, Jett has the biggest room for improvement and Tomac is in the middle. I think Jetts advantage over Tomac and Sexton will improve by the end of the season but there is a chance it doesn't come fast enough or at all, so it's looking like it has the potential to be one of the best Supercross seasons, up there with my favourite year 1991 JMB all day.

    I disagree with weege a bit here.
    The only reason this is a conversion is cos tomac finally got the upper hand and we all wanted to see tomac beat the kid.
    If jett passed him we would all be saying the same thing. Tomacs old , jetts young etc.
    Vegas smx was 3 months ago. Not that long. Tomac is a not new person. At smx he was 1-2 seconds off winning in a 20 min race. That's like 0.1% off winning.

    Eli isn't the best, never will be. The supercross media hyping him up. He never beat dungey to a championship. He won his first in covid when the last few rounds were all at Salt Lake, suiting him. He was a bottle job the years before and won the championship two years after the greats retired. He won more races than others because rv retired at a young age, dungey retired at a young age. It's a joke the eli narrative.

    Remember when the start just had a gate and bikes had a kick starter oversize dog's 🦕🦖 clutching around with cables not hydrolic that was cool 😎
    And yeah 250 , 2 strokes rocked .. still do well yeah easy kick start no electronics mud is still mud .. No matter what the weight of the 450 stroker intake compression power exhaust..counting to 4 is annoying 😂 is huge⚖️ against the 2 stroke crankcase reed induction, ✌️ 👏 this weight ⚖️ factor alone speaks volumes about riders today in supercross how easy they make it look 💯
