- In which Vega and Paimon finally reach Inazuma! Meanwhile, everything is new! The music! The scenery! The characters! What an interesting new friend we've made!
Genshin Impact Playthrough: • Genshin Impact Playthr...
Another note, some world quests will start to show up in your quest log differently. The world quests that show up with the "banner" of sorts similar to archon and story quests are critical to the history and exploration of certain areas of the map or certain ongoing plot lines. This occurs a few times in Inazuma, and grows in frequency in later regions. This can be used as a baseline guide of which world quests are most crucial. Though not a perfect rule, it is a good initial reference.
Oh, good to know! Thanks! I'll keep an eye out for that.
A timeline note that might put the Traveler's (Lumine - cannon name, Vega - player name) current mindset into a bit of context. In Mondstat and Liyue, Lumine had no knowledge of her brother's (Aether) status or whereabouts other ther her memories of being woken up by him 500+ years ago (revealed in "We Will Be Reunited"). Immediately prior to the Inazuma questline, Lumine did the "We Will Be Reunited" questline, where she learned of her brother's affiliation with the Abyss Order and Dainsleif, and various facts about Khaenri'ah and the gods. She had finally found him after being separated for so long, but the first thing Aether did was turn her away and say to not get in his way. Lumine was clearly shaken to the core by this, as seen in her reaction following the quest and Paimon's emphasis on needing to keep Lumine's head above the water for the time being. With this as context, Lumine's attitude and mindset has clearly shifted to an extent, as can be seen in her previously-absent rejection of helping others immediately, and her focus on finding and questioning the deities about her brother's situation.
Correct
Also in Liyue she was in part pushed by having to clear her own name
Oh definitely agreed, I’m loving how they gave her this character development/moment to be rattled by what she’s discovered. It gives her a lot more character depth (and in a way that makes sense!), to see that she’s more driven to find her brother/refusing to get help other people with unrelated issues, especially since she probably worries that helping the people who are unhappy with their archon could put her in a bad spot with said archon, and therefore cause her to lose any opportunity she might have to get answers from her. The way she’s feeling/acting also allows for a lot of character interactions that we haven’t seen before! People meeting her for the first time during this period are dealing with a different Lumine than the one who initially approached Mondstadt or Liyue. There’s more conflict, so people like Thoma and Ayaka are having to build their relationships with Lumine differently than characters we’ve met in the past. This is allowing things to feel fresh and preventing things from feeling repetitive! Basically, I’m so glad they allowed our Traveller the full range of human emotion, including upset. I’m loving this chapter in our journey. ^^
Omg you finally met Thoma, the greenest flag even though he's very red from head to toe lol
And oh yes Inazuma the land of common chests that you'd be lucky to find an exquisite chest!
Thoma is such a green flag, they needed to give him a red outfit and pyro vision to balance it out.
It's no wonder that dinner with him is worth 399,400 Mora
Thoma! He's such a fun guy. He's just so nice! Just a guy who is nice! I love how, even though we've met plenty of nice people, they all have such distinct personalities. No one else is as Thoma as Thoma is.
Also, land of common chests, you say... oh dear...
Great song choice for the ending :D
-also a quick tip for the extended descriptions, it's much more convenient going through them from the archive because they're all organized in one place and it shows if you're missing any(also for figuring out missing books from a series)
ps. those are the only 4 tiara's; partly because their effect wouldn't work for anemo/geo since we cannot be affected by them, however from very old -completely scrapped by now datamines we have a description for what could've been the anemo one, i'll leave it down below for anyone curious.
The unreleased one, tiara of gales, part of “prayers to the firmament” which is the exact same but for anemo
They say that, Once upon a time, the people of the land could hear revelations from the heavens directly. The envoys of the gods walked among benighted humanity then, when the distant thunders ceased, and the mighty winds arose.
People enjoyed prosperity, but feared that its end would come. With the magnificence of prosperity came seeds of wisdom and the freedom to think, And wisdom and thought brought endless doubt and fear.
So the people of the land tried to reach the heavens, For if they could but glimpse the island in the sky, They would perhaps no longer doubt that the promised land the envoys sang of existed...
So the white-crowned chief priest, even as his fellows marched towards the heavens, Walked alone into the deep places of the world. He found there a warning, deep within the long-forgotten ruins and altars. But this time, no one would welcome the answer he brought back.
It seems that the prosperity that the gods allowed led to fear and doubt on the humans part, leading them to pursue forbidden knowledge and angering the gods
Thank you! I listened to a lot of music to pick a good song and fell in love with this one immediately. ^^ So beautiful.
And thanks for the tip about the archive! That sounds useful. I’ll have to give it a try! If it works the way I think, this will help me not have to lock one of each artifact…
Also, really interesting excerpt from the lost anemo tiara. 👀 It mentions the island in the sky - celestia existed already/all the way back then? And the warnings in the deep places - now I really want to get underground and investigate… We might be starting to see a split between sky/stars = false and earth/underground = truth. Maybe. What would that mean for Celestia (famously in the sky) and anemo (wind itself)…
Congrats for reaching Inazuma!
Thank you!! New region! New sights! New exploration!! I’m having a delightful time.
This is pretty rare bow, suggest you lock it. There are couple of weapons like this, like black sword which only 2 copies in the world now
Oh, thanks for letting me know! I'll lock it immediately! ...As soon as I figure out which one it was, oops...
Fun Fact #06 : As of right now, Genshin Impact is the fastest mobile game to generate 1 Billion dollars worldwide in player spending which was achieved in 6 months. This year, Genshin also became the fastest to reach 5 Billion dollars which was in 40 months.
Oh wow. It definitely feels like their budget has increased for the more recent locations/events, but I didn't realize it was by so much, my goodness.
Yay, Inazuma, the land of depression! XD
As I've commented below on some of your older videos, you'll greatly benefit from reading everything and anything you come across in Inazuma. The lore of this nation is great, but sadly glanced over in the main story.
Hahaha oh no, but you're not wrong! I see what you mean! TT
Read everything I find? Got it. I'll do my best! Lots of reading to come in the future!
@@larualark There are also some "hidden" quests, as I call them. They do not display on the map or in your journal but give you achievements and emotional damage XD
Don't glance over artifacts and weapons lore. It's great! They do not even need to be kept in your inventory; you can read them in your archives. An object is archived once it has been obtained. Just keep in mind that artifact descriptions on a set are not in order of flower, plume, sands, goblet, and crown. They are mixed and can be in any order. Which is... fun, I guess XD
Yelan ult works like xingqiu’s where she does hydro attacks together with the on-field character but I don’t think you noticed because you barely used basic attacks while fighting 😂 oh and I don’t think you noticed that Emilie is actually a spear user and not a catalyst but it’s ok
Ah… seems I was fooled by her idle animations, I think. I saw the perfume box and just ran with it. Oops. Well, thanks for pointing all this out, now I know better!
@@larualark it's ok a lot of people when they first saw Emily thought she would be a catalyst so you are not the only one 😉
Eyy, we in inazuma now. Lets goo. A lot of beautiful landmarks to see i promise you. Lots of lore too on there
Inazuma!! Yay! I’m very excited to find all the beautiful landmarks and lore. :) I’m so happy to be exploring again, I didn’t realize how much I’d missed it.
6:59 I believe you have to trigger a quest or some sort to get the Snow Tombed Starsilver claymore. If I remember correctly you teleport to the statue of the seven at Dragonspine and go to a cave southwest of it. If anything you can always look it up. There's a puzzle you gotta do in order to open the cave and get the blueprint for the claymore. I hope this helps. And congrats on making it to Inazuma😊
Thank you! And thanks for the tips! Makes sense that there would be a quest involved. I'm very happy to know there's more to do in Dragonspine!
when i got to finally boarding the boat and headed to Inazuma .. i dreaded the long crossing through the Archon's barrier would be an adventure in itself ... involve battles with invading sea monsters while being savaged by the sea and winds. A combination of relief and anti-climax when the crossing turned out to be a black screen with a line of text.
I was really looking forward to a sea crossing. :') I have since heard that the crossing was covered in an online event (iirc) and that's why it didn't appear in the game?
@@larualark oh.. that's interesting. I'll have to see if i can find anything.
Whole Liyue is Chapter 1 and Chapter 1 Interlude.
All geo characters including our traveller scale higher attack since they don't have elemental damage to make up for the extra damage.
Neat that they scale the geo characters to make up for the loss of elemental reaction damage. How considerate!
i love that the endings are different for each region you are in .details matter :)
Ehe, I’m glad you noticed! I love making the different endings. I get to listen to so much music when I’m picking out the song
Congratulations on reaching Inazuma!!!
Thank you!!
Yelan is like a 5-star Xingqiu, I enjoy his playstyle more though.
When will your Bennett come home??? 😫
WE'RE HEREEEEEE! THOMA MY GOODEST SWEETEST BOY! You're sus of everyone 😂w
The soundtrack for Inazuma is so iconic, the 1st song you hear when you get there is so chilling, I love it.
Oh that description of Yelan is compelling! But, ah, remembering her trials, yes, I agree, I like Xingqiu's playstyle more. ^^; When WILL my Bennett come home... an excellent question... 👀... perhaps never... unless?
I sure am learning about myself that I am suspicious of everyone! Very surprising to me, haha. I think Inazuma is just a little tense at the moment? Some very high emotions. But I am enjoying letting everyone win us over, too. ^^
And yes!! The Inazuma soundtrack has been amazing so far! It's been stuck in my head for days. It's so haunting, so mournful, and yet so serene, and beautiful. Really incredible.
finally inazuma! 🎉
We finally made it!! 🥳
You're reading artifact lore :D
Would *HIGHLY* recommend reading the Crimson Witch set at this point in your journey...dw it's about a Mondstadt legend, but it's best not delayed further
Yess artifact lore! I'm so delighted to have learned about its existence. And Crimson Witch, you say? ...Suddenly I have a sneaking suspicion about who that might be...
HERE WE AREEEE
Inazuma at last!!! 🥳
Haha, "Pyro" characters are always "cheerful/full of energy". 😂 It's on "purpose".
Amber, Klee, Yanfei, Xiangling, Hu tao, Bennett, Xinyan, Thoma,Lyney, Yoimiya, Dehya etc.. are all very cheerful people.
Only Diluc and one other character aren't "cheerful" because of their horrific childhood trauma. Otherwise they'd have been like other Pyro characters.
I'd say Pyro characters are all extremely passionate about something.
Meanwhile, hydro characters are also passionate about something, but chill about it maybe? I’m thinking of Xingqiu, Barbara, and Childe here (even when he’s raring for a fight he’s…relaxed about it??). Diluc doesn’t make the cut (even though he’s less bubbly than the other pyro characters) because he has no chill.
@@larualark Regarding whether vision holders of various elements have something in common, everyone has their own opinion. So, naturally, I came up with my own theory.
Hydro characters are righteous (yes, even Childe. He has his own rules to follow). Pyro characters are passionate about something (Diluc is very passionate about confronting the Abyss and Fatui). Geo characters are persistent. Dendro characters are curious and fixated. The rest are a bit tricky. Like all Anemo characters lost someone one way or another, and it influenced/changed them greatly and set them on a journey. Cryo characters are conflicted/contradictory with themselves or the world around them. And Electro characters are strongheaded in their beliefs and identity against all odds.
@@tearviolet1095 Sorry, I think I might’ve phrased my reply poorly - I really like your theory! I like this extended version as well! I think it might’ve sounded like I was disagreeing about Diluc, but I was actually trying to agree with you that he fell into the ‘very passionate’/pyro category, because even though he seems chill, he’s not chill, haha. (And that’s why he’s not a hydro character.) Still, I worded it poorly. So, my apologies if it seemed like I was trying to shut down your theory! I 100% agree that everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
So, as mentioned, I really like the way you describe things in your extended theory. Righteous does feel like a better word for the hydro characters, and now I’m quite curious to learn more about Childe. It seems he might have a secret moral compass that is yet to be uncovered. 👀 Now I want to do his story quest! And the anemo and cryo characters… now I’m wondering about Sucrose and Kaeya. I hope we get to learn more about their backstories. Ah, I love how well designed all the characters are! They have so much depth! Thank you for sharing your thoughts
@@larualark Oh, no, I think you are overthinking it! I assumed you were responding to both of us, and the comment regarding Diluc was not directed at me but rather at the initial commenter. I intended to share my opinions regarding only Hydro, but since it seemed like a good idea, I ended up sharing them all XD May be I was the one who phrased it poorly? Sorry if I sounded as if I was angry or something. English isn't my first language; that's why I tend to put emojis in my text to better convey my emotions. But I was so engrossed in my theory this time that I forgot all about them! OдО
Welcome to Inazuma, the land of eternity, electro and lighting, where the shogunate rules eternal, she, the one who promised a never changing eternity for her people, Raiden Shogun. KINDA A SPOILER

Please be aware that inazuma has the hardest fights in the whole game, in which one of them involves the sheer cold mechanic like on dragonspine and the other one, MASSIVE SPOILERS HERE IF YOU HAVENT COMPLETED THE 2ND ARCHON QUEST
The function of making you unable to use skills, but otherwise enjoy Inazuma, cause you won't use your boat as much after inazuma, haha,
Luv you Larua, everyday when I go on my account and then on my new side account, I put on a video of yours (im catching up! I'm on the 104 episode now, hehe) when I do my daily shenanigans, have a great day 🫶
Thank you!! And thank you for marking your spoilers! Dodged successfully. ^^ And I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos so much! Have fun catching up, I hope you remember to take breaks and not overtax yourself. Pairing the videos with dailies sounds like a great plan. I hope your shenanigans go well! Have a great day yourself! :)
@@larualark thank you for answering my comment! It's a honor! Also, i wanted to give a little it more advice I wrote on episode 177, but you haven't seen it (I think), so he it is:
In inazuma, the exploration starts to get heavy on puzzles and world quest series, so I would recommend doing them the first since a big part of exploration is locked behind world quest series (each island has one, each completely different), but ultimately, just enjoy it, Inazuma is beautiful 🫶
Update: Catching up is going well, I'm already on the 140 episode, it's so good! You and your videos hooked me from how much theories you make and how much reactive you are to even small things, also, let's talk about how smart you are! You know Latin words and so so much more!
Also sorry for how I write, English is my second language 😭😭
