I’m so glad I found You here 🤗 Love Your videos! We are getting our baby Ragdoll boy in 2 weeks 🤩 He is currently on Scrumbles kittens and queens dry food 👍and Asda Tiger wet food (which I would like to change). Should I change his wet food gradually? I don’t even want to buy this crap 😩🙈 Any advice please ? 🩷💜🩷
Awww so exciting! Thats good he’s on the scrumbles dry food. It’s such good food for ragdolls because they have such sensitive stomachs. Her previous dry food was very high quality but the meat content was so high it was causing Bella to have soft poos. She never has that issue with scrumbles.
When Bella was a kitten she would often get diarrhoea when eating chicken breast because it was very very rich for her so keep that in mind.
If you choose to switch the food sometimes it’s best to do it gradually but for some cats they adjust to the change well. Bella done well on the kitten applaws & Hilife. I always recommend those two to people. If you kitten likes pate then Lily’s kitchen offers two kitten flavours. 💕

I’ve been doing a lot of research into cat products ever since I got Bella over two years ago. Especially cat food ! I had hamsters for 8 years previously and I just loved learning what i could about them and it’s been the same for Bella. There’s no main particular source it’s just been years of researching and I do work in a pet shop so I ask my manager and work colleagues a lot of questions and spend time educating myself while at work also. Reading the backs of labels & testing out new things. It really does help when I’m advising customers on anything cat related ☺️
Unfortunately there’s not many cat channels out there hence why I started making cat vlogs to document my journey. One site that did help is untamed. I have been using their cat food since Bella was a kitten and you also have lots of useful information on there website that breaks down what makes a cat food good or bad that was really useful to me when I first got Bella and I was trying to figure out what the best wet and dry foods were on the market. Recently I’ve been doing research into different supplements & food toppers based on Bella’s needs. I’ve been discovering so many new things regarding them in the last few months.💕

Weruva is very similar to Tiki - both made in Thailand, very similar texture, price, etc. Weruva tends to have more chicken in their range, Tiki tends to have more fish (but both brands do offer both). Tiki Pumpkin for Cats contains wheat grass - my cat has always loved their blend more than the Weruva ones! Both Orijen and Acana are actually Canadian brands under the parent company "Champion Pets" - Orijen is their higher quality line, about the closest you can get to raw in terms of dry food (and it has the highest meat content of all dry foods - essential for obligate carnivores like cats!)
Ooh thank you so much for that insight ! We actually have Acana over here in the UK. Unfortunately bella wasn’t so fond of their wet food because it was a pate and I haven’t yet tried her on the dry food.
I didn’t know weruva was pretty similar to Tiki cat. I was looking at the Tiki cat website a few weeks ago and saw they have ALOT of fish flavours. I hope they bring out more ranges over here in Europe because we currently only have the after dark tins. We have some of their stick treats and a decent amount of their little pouches ! I’m yet to try them out though ☺️💕
