Q: Can I send you a deck to check out?
A: Only patrons can send me decks and expect a reply, because I get too many of these requests to manage. Consider joining the discord (links above) and posting your decks in the #decks channel for community feedback.
Q: Why didn’t you play this certain card I would play?
A: Because I don’t think it is as good as every other card in the deck.
Q: Why did you make that play at time stamp XX:XX?
A: I usually talk through my plays, so watch again and see if I mention it (I often do, sometimes during the turn after the play to keep the video moving). If I don’t mention it at all, I may have missed it. I miss plays several times a day, and so do other players.
Q: How can I support the channel?
A: Watching the videos IS supporting the channel. There are many options above if you have extra money and would like to help more. I appreciate it, I have a lot of bills and life stuff to manage, but it is not required. Take care of yourself first, watch the videos, then give other financial support if you really want to.
Q: Will you play janky deck xyz?
A: My mission is to show people decks that they can play often, win games with, and feel successful with. I don’t enjoy decks that strive to achieve an interaction but rarely win (aka, janky decks). There are many successful jank players on RUclips, and you should check out their channels. I am competitive, I like winning, and I like helping others win and feel successful. That is why you won’t see janky combo decks on the channel very often.
Q: Do you show all your games, or do you edit out your losses?
A: I don’t show all my games. The video is usually the best moments of between one and three hours of recording. I remove games for a number of reasons, both wins and losses. Some games are slow, some aren’t competitive because of lands, some are the same matchup over and over. More losses get cut out than wins because winning is more fun for me, which makes for better content for most viewers. It can be disappointing for those who want to see me lose (yes, people watch just to see me lose, I see you!).
Q: If you edit out some of your losses, how do I know if a deck is good and worth crafting?
A: If you watch the entire video, I always give my honest opinion about the deck at the end. As always, you are welcome to draw your own conclusions. My goal is to show off a variety of decks that can get a player with skill and conviction into Mythic, and I want them to have fun doing it. I almost never show a video of a deck that I don’t believe in, and if I don’t like a deck after playing it, I guarantee you will know about it if you watch the whole video and listen to what I have to say.

you double blocked a wolf instead of blocking the ooze, well played tho you really are a skilled player! it wasnt even easy to see with such a wide board after that tough game, and in a way that lets our CGB continue the dream :))

That last game is probably the best one I have ever seen. Insane, insane.
I mean, don't want to diminish CGB win here, but that guy Fieldy67 played that game horribly, sorry.
They had so many windows to win the game, I still can't believe how they managed to throw it away
Not really. Had he played aggressively from the onset none of the drama would have ensued. When you have well established supply lines (what his deck does), and your enemy is forced to consume resources to persist (what white sac-protect does), you use your overwhelming force to go over them. Pay attention to military history in grade school, kids. Besides, its the only history we actually teach.
This game was fantastic. The only game i've seen that might be better was a Jim Davis video from MTGO. I think it was Ixalan block and he was playing Experimental Frenzy, Wayward Swordtooth, and some other dinos. He won on the last possible turn.
The best game i've seen was one he locked his mono red opponent. His opponent had an Experimental Frenzy in play, he accidentally picked Grafdigger's Cage with Karn, then on his next turn, he proceeded into fetching Suspicious Spyglass and named Experimental Frenzy.
Conclusion: Opponent can't cast card from hands because Experimental Frenzy prevents him from doing so, Grafdigger's Cage states that players can't cast spells from graveyards and libraries, unabling Experimental Frenzy's ability to cast cards from the top of library and making the card completely useless, leaving only it's ability to sacrifice It, which brings the cherry on top of this cake, Suspicious Spyglass, preventing opponent from sacrificing Experimental Frenzy.
Can't cast spells from hand, library and graveyard, against monstrous green creatures in play.

Omg I was just coming here to say the same thing. My gf ran in the room after I squeeled like a pig. She's not happy.
You buffed the wrong wolfy boy, the one that fought the angel (and died in a horrible death without eating any food) was hidden behind the stack triggers.
That's why you later had only one 6/6 wolf and the angel had 4 damage made (3 of the dead hungry wolf and +1/+1 from the henge).

And then there it comes, this gigantic 12/12 red eyed Angel charging at the goose. Peace was never an option.
That was literally the most epic CGB win I've seen in 2 years! No doubt, the one in best of one!
Bruh what about the money match with his yorian deck against rogues when he had 0 cards in library? After watching that video I had two games where the same thing happened that week against rogues where I won. I will never surrender against rogues again

In this match I would have scooped like 10 turns earlier because there's no sweeps, targeted removal, fight spells, etc. Only wicked wolf and X amount of food for limited pump. So I knew that there was no way to make an actual comeback...but he frickin did it!

Congrats, what a game! I noticed that you fed the wolf that was already on the battlefield so your new wolf ran in as a 4/4 without indestructible and died.
After such a difficult floody start and bad luck on the wolf activation, what a comeback ! A tiny detail though, gemrazer has reach, no need to mutate on the goose at 28:50. Also could have been a blocker to dig for (not sure any were left in the deck, lost count)
he didn't put it there for the "reach" he putted it there to attack for 4 and don't let speaker make an angel

23:08 CGB called the small mistake that cost Fieldy67 the game those two life would have let him start angelling one turn earlier and it would be all she wrote for CGB. Overall the opponent played well and even CGB made the mistake with the wrong wolf click, but what a great accomplishment to get to #4 congrats! I am surprised I don't see more food sac green on ladder because usually they run me right over.

I have had this same type of damage glitch happen to me as well. I don't remember the particulars, but it was involving adding counters and the damage not registering correctly in the same manner. Props on Wojtek Rokita's response. Perhaps I will have to pay attention to that in the future. I can't believe your decision to cook the wolf made the win.
Everyone forgot about Ooze in that mono white game. There was so much more graveyard to be eaten and nobody bothered to block it and CGB didn't seem to even think about it. All opponent had to do was put the app in front of it, but opponent got greedy and wanted to kill a wolf even though he had you dead next turn.
That last game was truly amazing. I love playing green too and I was glued to my screen trying to figure out "How is he going to get out of this?". To think that he could finally get a Goose out to block one of the angels using the last Food token. Really amazing.
Good job, top 10 mythic. I haven't tried to grind ladder with enigmatic etrata yet, but maybe I should. I have a just over 50% win ratio according to MTGA assistant, so it needs some tuning to be competitively viable.
That game was INSANE. I underestimated the long-term ability of this deck. Thank you very much for making this video and I really hope you make another mono green video in the future.
Very interesting the use of the word Decent for describing the creatures. Decents indeed as they can bring a more complex problem to solve than, i.e., a Robber of the Rich v/s a Mammoth.

man, the way the wide board works, it´s like misdirection in an actual magic trick. it hidded the new wolf, highlighted both and when the new one died it fits the screen again so the illusion is complete.

Love mono green for 25 years it was my favourite, best of my stand offs I remember was when I cast centaur to get whole my graveyard back to library, literally with last card... Henge and all lands on battlefield...opponent scooped. Yep, stand offs can stop your heart...

The unblocked Ozee. Graveyards was full of creatures and you have 2 green castels and enought mana for easy 10-12 more power on the Ozee.

Wow. I gave up on that last game thinking for sure it’s a scoop. The misclicked wolf further cemented the loss, only to have the opponent toss it away by failing to realize their lifelink wouldn’t come through.

I love long games like that with creatures vs creatures. Everytime I play a heavy creature deck though I get put against control and they just board wipe me over and over lol
That last game was probably the MOST EPIC I've seen you play yet.
Epic final boss battle! With the glitch, and then coming back against the deck with an active Speaker. Clearly was a strain on you eventually with the maths becoming all too much and forgetting the ooze, but well earned victory. I often skip ahead but had to watch all of that spectacle.
this was the best game we've watched in a long time. my 8 year old and I were shouting at the screen about your ooze being unblocked with 8+ mana open lol

I've watched for a long time and I saw if you attacked you'd win if he attacked with both angels and was screaming at my monitor to attack... then I forgot about the lifegain and threw my hands in the air like wtf!! What a roller coaster of emotions for the last game. Probably one of the best games of Magic I've ever seen.
In the final attack you could also pump your ooze. Great game though never surrender was the key. Bravo.

@@MarcoVanotti No you can still use the wolfs ability you just have to click the arrow next to the triggers on the stack to make it move out of the way :)
This is a way wider and deeper board than it looks like. 15 creatures, nearly all got counters from the henge, slowly built up while cgb was trying to stay alive-im not surprised that a charge of the light brigade won the game. cgb sure as hell didn't do the math
