Just installed my 50A watchdog with EPO. Working great. The only issue is the Bluetooth is very weak. I have a 37ft class A with the watchdog in the very rear storage compartment. Anything more than 15 feet away and it drops in and out. Any ideas?

I wish I could pair the surge protector to something other than a phone. I have a tablet setup for as many controls as I can and would like to add this one to it.

My device didn't show up when pressing the scan icon, even though my code was scanned to set up device info.

Same here. Trouble scanning the ode, but finally got that input. Bluetooth on, can see the device in my phone list, but not when I hit scan in the app.

I assume he was on a test stand with controls to adjust the voltage (up & down).

I have my 50 amp power watchdog, but every time I get so far away it says I’m outside my set limits do not know what that means or why it is giving me those. I went into the settings set my amp at 50, my high-voltage up to 125 on my low-voltage to 110. Not sure what else I can said so I will not get this alarm. All the lights on my power watchdog are green so I’m assuming I’m good to go.

We do not track anyone. We do not sell your information either. Prior to Android 12.0, location was required to search for nearby BLE devices. We are not selling or tracking anyone in anyway. The units now use Bluetooth 5.0 which is a stronger module than our previous 4.2 module and thus you should have a much better range. Bluetooth 4.2 was not bad, it is the same module used on an iPhone X, but 5.0 is the standard now.

Does it have to be plugged in before you can scan or can you just do it in the box before you get to the campground

    Why is the GPS needed?
I won't be using the app for this reason.

    They track your movement now.

Depending upon what is between you and the Watchdog (Metal RV walls, appliances etc.) the Bluetooth signal can be lost and when the phone senses it again it will say you were disconnected. If this is happening so often that it's annoying just close the APP. It will still continue doing its job.

Bluetooth is crappy, very short distance. I got a notice to update the app. I did, now you need Bluetooth connected AND GPS ENABLED. NOW THEY TRACK YOUR MOVEMENTS. lookin for another one.
THEY NEED NOT KNOW MY WHERE ABOUT AND PROBABLY SELLING MINE AND YOUR INFO. GOODBYE HUGHES POWER WATCHDOG.
