Pouring a bit of the boiling water into the bowl before placing the disc might help in increasing the dome further. The boiling water will heat up the air inside the bowl which in turn expands the air. Once the disc is placed on top and the air cools down it'll create a slight vacuum which should pull the dome out more. You actually already experienced this effect when the disc was "glued" to the bowl in the morning. Another idea could be to use the same technique that is used in "cupping therapy". Same principle but it'd take this another step further. Might have to test this myself now :D
I've tried to make a domey putter flat/concaved with hot water and a 20lb weight left on it for a week. Great success... until it sat in my garage for a few days. Went right back to normal. I bet baseline plastic would work well, not so much with premium plastics. But maybe after multiple attempts it'd hold better 🤷
I will admit that I have been struggling to make the discs hold the dome for extended periods of time as well. You are probably onto something with the multiple attempts.
It will be hard to have a disc made of plastic hold a shape that it wasn’t originally molded into. Molded plastic will always want to revert back to its original dimensions as long as it’s not comprised from chips/breaks in the plastic.
Im over here sticking to mvp/axiom because of how consistent the runs are and how little they beat in. This mfer over here is speed running the break in process lmao Gotta say tho, pretty interested what some mvp molds would do with some dome. The majority of their molds are flat enough to cover it in maple syrup and call it breakfast
I’m aware as it was clipped to my shirt during the video as well. I was holding it because I am the type of person that needs to be doing something with their hands when speaking.
PDGA RULES: Other modifications to a disc after production make the disc illegal, including but not limited to: Modifying the disc in a way that alters its original flight characteristics; Great way to get suspended.

Damn I wish I thought of that! I’ll definitely keep that in mind if I do it again!
Illegal
I should have mentioned that it is pdga illegal yes. My fault

Oh man, new idea. Puddle topping super flippy molds? 🤔🤔
Sky’s the limit
And the pdga

Yeah fs, I like how they have started to put some dome on their faster drivers
That lavaliere has a clip, you don't need to hold it mate

Dome = More glide; slower turn; slower fade
Not entirely, parting line height and wing shape impact how the dome influences the flight.
So i wonder if the discs heats up from a hot day. Will the dome go away again?
Good question. I’m not entirely sure to be honest, but that may be a reason that the disc I used lost a lot of the dome.

Yes that is mentioned in description thanks to another comment bringing up the rule
