@Deadlezz if you look closesely near the end of the video though, you see that he has a guitar humbucker fitted behind the basspickups. Interesting setup, now I want to try that myself :-)
@Guerillaradio13 dude...i have that same bass in my practise space...be assured...its a BASS...he has baritone guitars...like that modified ibanez AX he uses on nookie... but that thing there...it even has the bass pickup configuration. That thing is a bass with thinner strings
@squertes hahahha oh, yeah, my dumbass realized that a few minutes later when i saw an interview from around this time with him... He just looks waaaay diff in this video, it seems to me.... its not the baritone guitar that threw me off, hes wearin low tight jeans no shirt (kinda outta shape?), I dunno. I was thinkin he still had the shaggy hair too. That tat on his left arms a dead giveaway i suppose. Thought maybe wes didnt feel like practicing today lol.
Emma Gutierrez it’s a fender mustang bass that Wes turned into a 6 string bass a la the fender bass vi as both instruments have 30” scale. He’s got photos on it on his Instagram page. You’ll have to scold down to posts from around 2013 or so, but it’s there. Hope that helps.
@Guerillaradio13 whatever...and i just followed your suggestion and read wes borlands twitter...and he says its a modified bass...and a bass stays a bass even if its modified... btw i dont listen to thrash metal. and even if i did it would tell you nothing about my authority on equipment. i studied audio engineering and worked with several bands in the studio. also i'm in two bands myself and have participatet in stageing several concerts and events. be assured, i know my stuff well.
