Streamlight TLR-1 can be modified easily using a Dremel to the inside of it and it can be mounted directly to the USP rail! Just takes a few minutes, and only modify the inside so not visible. Also doesnt really affect being able to mount it on other guns! ❤
The tlr 7 doesn’t need the rail adapter to fit btw! I have one all you have to do is remove the rail key and the clamp alone fits the hk light rail perfectly
@@NightwoodGunsshot about 600 rounds with no need to retighten, no scars on the frame either. Took a dremel to a tlr 1 and use it now in a phlster flood light

I don't know all the parts you used, but I did a similar SRT LEM conversion with my p30. If that trigger return spring was a match part you may need to go back to the light version if you want a forceful reset. In my experience the flat trigger didn't change that. I'd love to see a modernized USP that didn't have LTT sticker prices!
@@nathanbrand1 Thanks for the info! I think I’ll switch the trigger return spring back like you said 😎👍 And yeah, LTT sticker prices are pretty crazy. But they have their markets cornered.
It’s a pain in the butt, ngl. Proper tools help, but it’s not fun the first couple of times. If you aren’t on a budget, taking it to a gunsmith that knows their way around an HK could save some frustration.
I love all of my USPs and P30s done by LTT. I have the USPc but would love the full sized version like yours done up with an IDOT sight system. These things rival my 1911s easily but more reliable. I agree 100% they need to modernized the USP and sell them to us!!! What 18round mag is that to go with the Jet funnel? USP mag?
USP 9 was my first semi auto handgun and honestly the best gift my uncle gave me when I turned 21. So sick. Wish I kept it T__T Oh an nice touch on the backwards bullets lmao. Classic H&K advert errors lolol
The LTT p30L LEM is one of my favorites and my Carry Optics gun. I love HKs and carry a P30. As a trigger prepper I love the LEM and would get one on all my DA/SA guns if I could. Also love the trigger guard mag release. Once you train on it I think it’s faster
RUclips can be so crazy. Another great video Brett. Thanks for bringing us the content despite how irritating the demonetization dodging you have to go through
An upgrade to the HK USP would be so amazing. Especially in the USP 40. Optic slides, grip texturing, comp slides, different finishes. Then maybe sig can be pushed back to the drawing board: the P320.
I consider the P30 and HK45 to be the modernized USP, so I like the USP left as is. I feel like the stock lite LEM trigger is just fine. I don’t use optics but it’s cool that people who want it can get it cut. Just one random nobody’s opinion to help your video out.
when I first clicked on the video and watched him shoot it, my first thought was "What the fuck? DAO trigger? Why would anyone ever want DAO?" Until he explained how it was set up. Fucking cool.
God, I’d love to see H&K implement some of these features on new USPs. I think we need more DA/SA pistols, especially with an optic cut. I can understand why the Beretta 90 series can’t, but there’s no excuse for the others.
A factory extended mag would be nice for the USP45. HKParts has their +10 round aluminum mag extension kit for the USP45, keeping it competitive with the FN545. You're right a factory rail adapter would be a neat way to preserve the original aesthetic and allow users who want a light/laser to run them. I am a big fan of the MatchWeight with picatinny rail. An updated frame to withstand use with a compensator would be nice as well.
I’d love to see a modern USP but also a Modern P30/P30L with the Lem trigger upgrade, optic cut, a NORMAL pic rail and a VP9 like texture but more aggressive. 😩😮💨 take my coins
The USP 9mm expert is almost where you are minus the trigger work and optic mount. The trigger on the expert is better than the standard issue usp trigger .
HK needs to make real the USP frame from RE4 Remake, except for the finger grooves of course. I thought the remake was just aight... but, I gotta say I was so glad they made the Silver Ghost (whatever you call the default handgun) an actual USP in the remake vs. whatever Ruger/HK/Samurai Edge-gripped abomination it was in the OG. Going off as a gun/game nerd, you know what scene in the remake was cool? When Ashley shot the USP and it FTFd because she limp wristed it. At first I thought it was cool that they put that in, then right after, I was like "No fkn way would a USP EVER jam, even when limp wristed" 😂 BUT then I realized - the thing is comped, like many pistols in today's market are. These comped pistols seem to be less forgiving of limp wirsting, we're seeing it with so many new shooters picking up those TTI Caniks. Anyway, long story short, that scene checks out in my book 😎
Full rail, flush comp… man the silver ghost in Remake was peak. THAT is the gun they need to make, hands down. (And yeah, unpopular opinion but RE4 Remake was just aight. I still prefer OG any day) Yep, I was pointing out and explaining the limp wrist malfunction on forums when the game came out 😅 The main thing that wasn’t believable was her pinpoint accuracy with it 😂
@NightwoodGuns OG all the way dude... I hate to admit, but I only finished the remake once... and... I never got to playing Separate Ways 🫨 I will soon, though, or at least that's what I'll keep telling myself 😭 I must say I'm a bit surprised I haven't seen anyone try to make a "practical" replica of the Silver Ghost. Comp-in-frame + full 1913 rail aside, I think a ported USP Expert with an NP3d slide would be pretty slick and practical. If I ever added a USP back into my stable, I wouldn't mind an Expert 9. You a fan of Silent Hill? Silent Hill 2 remake was pretty darn good, made me want to add a 92FS Centurion to the collection.
@@lon242 I snagged the platinum trophy in RE4 Remake and I kind of regret the time it took 😅 Still haven’t played Separate Ways… 👀 Hard to justify playing Remake when OG is on the same hard drive and significantly better 😂 I think someone on Reddit or the Samurai Edge Facebook group was trying to make an accurate Silver Ghost, but just couldn’t do it without Elon Musk money 😅 a ported Expert would be 🔥 though! Great informative video as usual Buddy!!!!!! 👊
Glad you enjoyed 😎👍
I have a HK USP compact in 40sw and it is one of the nicest most accurate compact pistol I own. It sits in the safe as I’ve switched caliber to 9mm.
USP in .40 S&W was once the coolest pistol you could carry 😎👍
Always liked their products..
Right on 👍
I would love to see an updated version of the usp. Thanks for the great video
😎👍
I hate algorithms, but I love the USP!
@@Sam-et3bv A true patriot! 👆
Streamlight TLR-1 can be modified easily using a Dremel to the inside of it and it can be mounted directly to the USP rail! Just takes a few minutes, and only modify the inside so not visible. Also doesnt really affect being able to mount it on other guns! ❤
I’ve heard about that, but I’ve never tried it 😅👍
Screw your D.A.!!! Awesome video!
😂🙌
The tlr 7 doesn’t need the rail adapter to fit btw! I have one all you have to do is remove the rail key and the clamp alone fits the hk light rail perfectly
@@tylerleiva3608 That’s cool! Does it stay on under recoil? Like 1k+ rounds? And does it damage the rail at all? 🤔
@@NightwoodGunsshot about 600 rounds with no need to retighten, no scars on the frame either. Took a dremel to a tlr 1 and use it now in a phlster flood light
Love the HK content and love LEM. Have it on my P30 and P30SK
Very nice! I love the P30 series 👍
A modern version would be amaze-balls!!
Agreed 👍
I'd love one! That was the first handgun I ever fired and I've missed it ever since. I'd like if was a slimmer, "mag and a half" style grips. It really helps my recoil control.
That would be nice. The USP is on the fatter side, but we still love it 😂👍
USP 9c owner here.USP series in full size are the best combat pistols till this day after so many years,i want a usp 40 new with stainless slide so so much but unfortunately hk stopped back in 2004 i think 😔😔😔. By the way i have the same g shock watch 😅😅
@@ΓιωργοςΜαστρο-ε4σ I had a stainless USP 9c that I regrettably got rid of 😢 Great taste in G shock, btw 😂
Dope video, would love to see HK do something different with the USP at this point. How do you feel about their new concealed carry option?
All I have to say is this: imagine a USP the size of a CC9. The USPcc. Home run.
One of my favorite HK guns. Nice job with all your upgrades. Did you do your own trigger work? Is it pretty straightforward?
It’s a pain in the butt, ngl. Proper tools help, but it’s not fun the first couple of times. If you aren’t on a budget, taking it to a gunsmith that knows their way around an HK could save some frustration.
I love all of my USPs and P30s done by LTT. I have the USPc but would love the full sized version like yours done up with an IDOT sight system. These things rival my 1911s easily but more reliable. I agree 100% they need to modernized the USP and sell them to us!!! What 18round mag is that to go with the Jet funnel? USP mag?
Exactly! 🙌 And yeah, it’s just an HK USP Jet Funnel mag. They make them in black with steel parts and translucent polymer.
USP 9 was my first semi auto handgun and honestly the best gift my uncle gave me when I turned 21. So sick. Wish I kept it T__T
Oh an nice touch on the backwards bullets lmao. Classic H&K advert errors lolol
Right on! And don’t worry, I have a few I wish I would have kept, too… 😢
Great video
Glad you enjoyed 👍
The LTT p30L LEM is one of my favorites and my Carry Optics gun. I love HKs and carry a P30. As a trigger prepper I love the LEM and would get one on all my DA/SA guns if I could. Also love the trigger guard mag release. Once you train on it I think it’s faster
Very nice! And I agree, I love the paddle mag release 👍
it looks great HK 🌶
😎👍
RUclips can be so crazy. Another great video Brett. Thanks for bringing us the content despite how irritating the demonetization dodging you have to go through
Always appreciate the support! I’m glad it ended up getting cleared, at least 😮💨
He knows what he's talking about, for sure. H K yes!
💯👍
An upgrade to the HK USP would be so amazing. Especially in the USP 40. Optic slides, grip texturing, comp slides, different finishes. Then maybe sig can be pushed back to the drawing board: the P320.
@@mauricewebb4557 😂👍
I consider the P30 and HK45 to be the modernized USP, so I like the USP left as is. I feel like the stock lite LEM trigger is just fine. I don’t use optics but it’s cool that people who want it can get it cut. Just one random nobody’s opinion to help your video out.
Always appreciate hearing other opinions! Thanks for contributing! 😎👍
Especially the USP Expert, please!
The Expert is such a vibe
I have an Expert with Grayguns SRT, a Trijicon SRO, and LEM with the match trigger. Unreal firearm!
It’s hard to beat when you get it all tricked out! 😎🙌 That’s an awesome build!
when I first clicked on the video and watched him shoot it, my first thought was "What the fuck? DAO trigger? Why would anyone ever want DAO?" Until he explained how it was set up. Fucking cool.
@@vulpesvulpez LEM is a brilliant system. I wish it would have caught on 😅👍
I have zero interest in this USP, but you do such good reviews that I didn't mind watching the whole thing. Good work!
Glad to hear it! What is a video you’d like to see in the future? I always have a list of video ideas that I pull from.
@@NightwoodGuns I'm a revolver guy, so those are my favorite. Budget guns are fun too. Like "how many rounds until this Taurus shits itself??" LOL
@@BehindTheGoldenCurtain Right on! I’ve been planning more revolver content for a while 😎👍
Had me all excited for a sec
I’m trying to manifest it for real 🙏
God, I’d love to see H&K implement some of these features on new USPs. I think we need more DA/SA pistols, especially with an optic cut. I can understand why the Beretta 90 series can’t, but there’s no excuse for the others.
If guys like Wright and Langdon can figure it out, there’s no reason OEM can’t.
Love you - HK James
@@jaholland42 😎🫶
Nice gun you have there…. Regards from denmark
😎👍
Nice video
😎👍
A factory extended mag would be nice for the USP45. HKParts has their +10 round aluminum mag extension kit for the USP45, keeping it competitive with the FN545. You're right a factory rail adapter would be a neat way to preserve the original aesthetic and allow users who want a light/laser to run them.
I am a big fan of the MatchWeight with picatinny rail. An updated frame to withstand use with a compensator would be nice as well.
Agreed 100% 👍
I’d love to see a modern USP but also a Modern P30/P30L with the Lem trigger upgrade, optic cut, a NORMAL pic rail and a VP9 like texture but more aggressive. 😩😮💨 take my coins
The USP 9mm expert is almost where you are minus the trigger work and optic mount. The trigger on the expert is better than the standard issue usp trigger .
I like the Expert a lot 😎👍 I’d like to trick an expert out just like this
Yo! Sick. I gotta do that to my usp 40 compact
Absolutely 😎👍
Looks like S&W definitely took design cues from the USP for the M&P line. They're quite similar
Similar scallop in the slide 😎👍 Makes it look pretty cool 😅
I still prefer OG any day)
Yep, I was pointing out and explaining the limp wrist malfunction on forums when the game came out 😅 The main thing that wasn’t believable was her pinpoint accuracy with it 😂
@NightwoodGuns OG all the way dude... I hate to admit, but I only finished the remake once... and... I never got to playing Separate Ways 🫨 I will soon, though, or at least that's what I'll keep telling myself 😭
I must say I'm a bit surprised I haven't seen anyone try to make a "practical" replica of the Silver Ghost.
@@lon242 I snagged the platinum trophy in RE4 Remake and I kind of regret the time it took 😅 Still haven’t played Separate Ways… 👀 Hard to justify playing Remake when OG is on the same hard drive and significantly better 😂
I think someone on Reddit or the Samurai Edge Facebook group was trying to make an accurate Silver Ghost, but just couldn’t do it without Elon Musk money 😅 a ported Expert would be 🔥 though!
Yep, I like Silent Hill. Not my fav, but I enjoy it. Haven’t played SH 2 Remake yet. Probably going to wait for a sale. But I played OG 2 back in the day. Any excuse for another 92 is a good excuse! 🙌
USP's are all class! Class class class! Class coming out the ass!
💯🙌
Hey Bret! Lemme borrow yours! I’ll return it I swear… probably… maybe… eventually… perhaps… potentially 😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks to this video I went out and bought a usp expert that’s getting sent to wright armory for milling of an sro. Very excited. You owe me 2k plus sir😂
I believe the HK should just make a new USP in striker fire, sort of how Sig went from the P250 to the P320, add a common accessory rail and optic ready.
My dream would be a CC9-size optic ready USP with the light LEM setup. But HK refuses to make money on the civilian market 😂
great video 😄 what about any of the other calibers any parting words on those like the 45?
