Selling groceries is the lowest profit margin business out there. Every 100$ you spend about 1-3$ goes to profit.
This is not debatable as you can look at any publicly traded grocery store and see their financials.
The price increase comes from the fact the federal reserve puts 1 trillion into our economy every 90 days. Not the people at Kroger who make a buck for every 100$ of groceries you buy.
