@@Doriantheloreian yeah I know that they offend some people sensitivities but if you want to go grimdark, they're the rt legion. Plus I enjoy the fact that they seem to be the only traitor legion that is independent from chaos. I really loved this story. As you said, it has a little bit of everything and I especially enjoyed the perspective of a human who has to work with these murderous demi-gods.
Imagine if the night lords hadn't turned, imagine a loyal Curz defending Terra and fighting against deamons WOW with loyal nightlords behind him 👌❤️ ouuuuf now THAT would be wonderful
I'm thankful that people like you are out here doing this, as it's always annoying when stories aren't available in a given format (audio). You do a good job with the voices too, as I'm fresh off of the Blood Reaver audiobook and I could easily tell who was who by you matching Andrew Wincott's narration nicely.
An amazing story i cant wait to hear more thanks so much for uploading. I love the ambiance and music you put behind the speech too, i dont get why more audiobooks dont do this.
wait the first quote was of kurze addressing the 13th legion? like the ultramarines? that's not impossible i just want to be sure you didn't mean the 8th night lords?
That is correct. It is written as "Addressing the XIII Legion" I myself have wondered if the Author meant to write " VIII Legion" and it just flew under the editing radar.
As it appears, ever since paranine removed his video, you’re the only one who still had a reading of this. This is probably my favourite story so far. My only criticisms would be to maybe use voice augmentors for the characters, paranine had his NLs sound almost sickly Russian, with a bit of Vocoding on them from their helmets. Good job though, and I hope to see your channel grow.
Your production value out the gate is remarkable most for it's fitting amongst others with many more attempts to far wider degrees of their execution. I hope that doesn't come across as backhanded. I genuinely didn't realize I had stumbled upon a new creator until looking up the video to trade laptop for phone. Everything was of a "yeah that checks out for good 40k narration from ___" to the point I wasn't even finishing that thought. Somewhere in the handshake between sub and conscious, I didn't notice the lack of any particular name of the numerous that would obviously be what that "sounds good" was referencing right? Ok one more pass now both the blunt and slightly overwrought takes havve found either extreme past sincerity. You ever play a game that does many things that have been done before, but does them all just that extra bit more competently, and just unique or iterated upon enough, to stand as it's own "proper game"? That'll have to do. Thumbs are mad. TL;DR: S'GOOOOOOOOOOD OK KEEP IT UP
Bro if your gonna share , invest in a decent mic or turn up your input/out put setting other then having to crank my tv up to make my speakers hum no complaints.

Ok. I'm an old GEN-X dude, I took 14-years off from my 40k addiction. I don't like a lot of thinks that GW has done with the lore. I did not WANT to enjoy the new lore. After hearing this though... Might have to give it a try.
@@Doriantheloreian I enjoyed it enough to get the Omnibus. It's the only non-fiction title in my "to read" list, at the moment. I hope you continue narrating when and if you can find the time. And if not, then at least make time to have fun.
Favourite Legion and didn't even know this, great job narrating 👍👍
Much appreciated! Glad you Enjoyed it!
You know its Warhammer40k when a short story is over an hour long
I really enjoyed that thank you. Nobody ever does enough Night Lord lore. Which is a bummer.
Thanks! They're definitely a underrated legion with a lot of depth, and complexity!

And Conrad is a very tragic figure who could have been amazing under different circumstances.
Great narration, i especially liked the Bleeding Eyes voices
I thought I'd read/heard all of Aaron Dempski-Bowdens Night Lords stories. Always something new to find in 40k 😁
Excelent job sir. Verry enjoyable.

Blessed are mine audio-receptors to hear such a stunning rendition. Praise the omnissiah!
Great reading. Much appreciated! ❤
Not bad Sir, not bad at all.
You would have an excellent voice for horror.

Like the Tsons, they could have easily been kept to the loyal side. But censorship by the Emperor late into the crusade saw a end to that.
A disgusting thought. You don't know the character of these ones. They don't fight for no godling, regardless of imagined ideology.
could Curze have scared the shit out of chaos worshippers or demons?
Great work! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Very Cool!!
Look Forward for more.
Like the visuals that you added for the story.
Salute Dorian!!

I love NL's! The brutality is something else whit these "brothers".. Good vid and keep'em coming!!👍✌️🇫🇮
Fantastic job. More night lords more traitors. Do blood gorgons
I had never even heard of this chapter until your comment, very interesting, I'll have to look into them more.
1:02:45 Lol at "slurp" sound. Good narration, I liked and subbed. Looking forward to more in the future.

Missing the sigismund vs sons of Horus narrations

Was this taken from the night lords omnibus? I dont remember this part.
Yes, It's a side story after Book 2 within the Omnibus. It starts on Page 583 in the physical copy!
