Although I am nowhere to get pregnant (not even already pregnant), I simply love your updates - it makes me so excited for your little baby girl 💕 Love from Slovakia 💕💕
Try implementing some snacks with things like guacamole, and humus, and also maybe adding some additional carbs with things like pita bread chips to scoop your dip with. I also added a snack before bedtime in both my pregnancies because I had a hard time with gaining weight too. Something like apples or bananas with peanut butter or almond butter.
I'm in week 28 and I've been struggling with maintaining a healthy diet and this has given me some more motivation to get myself sorted! I've been following these videos each week along with my pregnancy and also the progress of your gorgeous girly. So glad I found your channel :)
a great book to read on diet is eat happy, it talks about superfoods and the specific benefits for your body. I think it could help you fill up your diet with wholesome foods for you and your baby! I hope this helps you and best of luck!!!
I gained only 7lbs with my second and had a 7lbs baby. I battled morning sickness the whole pregnancy and terrible acid reflux. I ate a lot of nut butter with sprouted bread and full fat yogurt. My baby was very healthy, but small. I did end up struggling with extremely low blood pressure after. Hopefully you are successful in gaining more weight... either way have faith that Gods got this!
I never had an issue with weight gain during pregnancy, but my toddler has had some weight gain issues. Our nutritionist gave us a whole list. Avocados, peanut/almond butter, nuts, whole milk yogurt, cottage cheese, more carbs with meals (sweet potatoes, brown rice, quinoa pasta etc). Cook everything with coconut oil! Add avocado and coconut oil to your smoothies. More healthy snacking throughout the day- hummus with pita, guac and chips, peanut butter on crackers. Good luck!!
I'm almost 28 weeks too and one of my friends that is 27 weeks has been having issues gaining weight throughout her pregnancy (she's having twins), and her doctor told her to eat a milkshake everyday to help her gain weight, so that on top of your healthy diet might help!
Oh, I forgot to mention that you are one of those people who just reflects Jesus Christ! What a beautiful thing that is💕💕 To God be all the Glory and Praise!
Do you like nuts, avocados, nut butters? Add nut butters, flax meal and chia seeds to your smoothies. Lara bars are good snacks! Don't stop eating the leafy greens! But they wont cause you to gain weight. Don't count a salad as your meal or a smoothie, eat those in addition to your meal or in between. When pregnant, our stomachs shrink and you get full faster so you need to eat more often. Try to eat every single hour.
In addition to lots of protein, healthy fats, and leafy greens (those are all great!) I would focus on really upping your intake of high-quality carbs (whole wheat/whole grain products, fruit, sweet potatoes, etc) Protein & fat have a much higher satiety level than carbs (meaning they keep you feeling full for much longer), so by getting in lots of complex carbs it will help you up your intake throughout the day without getting overstuffed and decreasing your appetite, plus complex carbs will not affect your blood sugar as much as refined carbs would! And of course, some treats at night always helps ;) I wish you the best of luck reaching your 3rd trimester goal! xx Becca
Currently 27 weeks and 3 days...just got a jolt of reality of starting biweekly appointments here soon....I think i'm going crazy on the gaining weight thing but this is the first time that I'm actually weight with my 3rd pregnancy, lost 30 lbs with my first and 2nd pregnancy, need to eat better than i have been it goes in waves....
Currently 26 weeks pregnant with twins and I have a complete different issue I'm gaining all kinds of weight. I seem to stay hungry! Hope all is well and your heartburn has slowed down.
Hi Natalie. I know this is an old video, but I want to tell you how much I have been enjoying following your pregnancy updates. I am also starting my third trimester today, so I loved this update so much! I do have very similar goals for my third trimester. To spend more time with my husband since this is my first baby, and to lose weight instead of gaining. LOL. Or at least to maintain my weight since I’ve already gained about 20 pounds in my pregnancy. Just eat healthier all around. Wanted to share that. Also thank you so much for your updates. You have made me so much more confident when I film of my pregnancy updates. My husband and I film updates every two weeks and watching yours has helped me through mine. Thank you again! Look forward to following more videos on your channel. God bless you❤️
Hi, Nat! So, I've been following you guys for a while now, and let me tell you how in love I am with your family! Can't wait for baby girl to come💕💕Praying for all of you and I'll definitely pray for that healthy weight gain🙏🏼You know, do your best and leave it all in the hands of the Lord because He is Faithful & Powerful! He's been there from the beginning and He will not forsake you!!!!😘Try to spend more time with Him so that your relationship with the Lord can grow and grow! I pray that God will bless your marriage, your twin boys, baby girl, your home, your finances, your parents, sisters, brother and each and every member of your beautiful family! Love you guys!
Honestly, I think you are the definition of pregnancy glow, honestly I love how happy and excited you always come across and its genuine, its not forced its actually beautiful. You are my pregnancy goals lol Praying for you with the weight gain too, dont stress too much though or that could have the opposite effect :) Much love
I will be 28 weeks on Tuesday and I'm also so excited!!! I also have had a problem my whole pregnancy not gaining weight, i lost 7lbs in the first trimester, i did end up gaining it back but i haven't gained anything "extra" so i know how frustrating it can be. Here's to us meeting our third trimester goals, and our baby! ( I also am having a baby girl) Love your videos ❤
I can't wait to see how your next Dr's appointment went. I can't wait to see what baby girl looks like I bet she will be just as beautiful as her mommy.
After hearing about your update from the prenatal doctor visit, I really hope you guys have found the right balance for your diet. Baby girl losing weight can be scary but hopefully her vital signs were all good. I don't remember you mentioning that. I have and will continue praying for your family and baby girl ♥
i had a similar problem with 3 little ones running around and what i did was i had a jar of peanut butter in a cabnet next to the stove and when i would cook a meal for my lirrle ones i would eat a soon or 3 of nut butter. it helped me and my lo was born in dec. weighing 7lb
If you gain a pound a week from now until you deliver you should hit around 20 lbs which is great now worries. I gained 10 lbs in the first trimester. Then 5 in the second. Then another 15 in the third. Everyone is different
Higher fat foods that will bring you the most calories without making you feel like you have to stuff food in for the sake of it. Like avocados and a teaspoon of coconut oil mixed into a smoothie, handful of cashews, full fat yoghurt with berries, salmon, etc. Do continue with leafy greens but remember the calorie content in them is low. Cook with real olive oil, drizzle it over salads. Congrats on your throw trimester, love your videos xxxx
You look so beautiful Natalie! 💕 as far as weight gain, why don't you try adding a fruit smoothie as a mid day snack and add Chai seeds. You can also do peanut butter sandwiches, oatmeal. I found this online: Here are some energy-dense foods that are perfect for gaining weight: Nuts: Almonds, walnuts, macadamia nuts, peanuts, etc. Dried fruit: Raisins, dates, prunes and others. High-fat dairy: Whole milk, full-fat yogurt, cheese, cream. Fats and Oils: Extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil. Grains: Whole grains like oats and brown rice. Meat: Chicken, beef, pork, lamb, etc. Choose fattier cuts. Tubers: Potatoes, sweet potatoes and yams. Dark chocolate, avocados, peanut butter, coconut milk, granola, trail mixes. I hope this helps! 😊
I don't share the same issue with you during pregnancy, but I do have 3 year old son who choked on food and then developed a food phobia. During that time, I gave him Carnation Instant Breakfast with whole milk & made different smoothies. I always made sure to have protein and whole milk yogurt in the smoothies. I was always worried about him losing weight, so I weighed constantly. He actually gained weight during that time! I don't know if that helps. I am currently pregnant with our 3rd baby and smoothies have been great for me as well.
My ob recommended I should eat anything. *Anything*. She told me to eat ice cream burgers etc. obviously not just that but try to eat that as well because I was 5 months with my son and had not gained any weight. I had lost 10lbs if anything. By the end I gained a healthy 25 lbs :)
Try setting reminders on your phone in order to eat small meals more often rather than snacking. I know that it could be difficult with the twins being very active toddlers to take the extra time to cook, but maybe you could ask for a helping hand from family and friends to come over and have some play time with Liam and Judah while you take a couple of hours to decompress. Also, since we are on youtube, I reccommend you have a chat with Christine from the channel gaugegirltraining. She's a food scientist, and I think you could at least benefit from her advice on caloric intake and refeeding. :3 internet hugs!
I have similar goals for my third trimester. I was told by my midwife that I need to be taking in more calories so I found a very simple solution to supplement calories, fat, and protein: CLIFF Bars! one bar makes up for everything I'm not getting in my diet and they're super healthy.
Carbs for sure! All pastas - bolognese, lasagne. Potatoes, brown rice, gnocchi, toast and everything in between. My Dr gave me that idea.... Hoping you gain some weight soon, love your videos! X
I'm 33 weeks pregnant with my first and I live in burien. It's very cool to watch this knowing you're so close to me! I feel like I have so much to get done baby shower is in 2 weeks and I want to have a natural birth so I want to take a class and I am currently reading books on it. Just want to say I enjoy your videos. I've gained 32 pounds thus far and it was really weird for me gaining so much weight as I've always been petite and small my whole life. I just seem to eat a lot. I would suggest you eat eggplant Parmesan :-)
I always look forward to your updates!! I will be 29 weeks tomorrow!! My back pain has been awful!! I really want to work on eating better foods that actually have some sort of substance to it. I've definitely indulged more than I would have liked the past trimester.
Hey, Natalie! Love watching you thrive and smile. I will admit right now I have never been pregnant, but I'm kind of obsessed with pregnancy and watch a lot of documentaries and vlogs and read a lot about it. I have seen that sometimes mothers don't gain weight because the calories are simply not enough, so the nutrients form high quality food are used by you first and then Baby. Meaning sometimes you simply need to up your intake of empty calories that allow your body to be fuelled and give way for nutrients to actually go to Baby, so I would think about having a milkshake with your awesome regular diet, or enjoying a banana split, or a double decker burger with cheese, something that will fuel you enough so that your body can then pass the nutrients of your reular diet to Baby
Graze all day, at least 6 meals breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner and dessert at a minimum! Nuts, bananas, avocados and all the treats you love, go nuts eat everything 😜😂
Oh my gosh!!! I love your family and have been watching your channel since about October and just today I realized that you live in my hometown area!!! I live in Portland now, BUT my husband and I grew up in the hills of Arlington, WA! I knew you guys were up in WA somewhere, but had no idea what part! I made the connection when you recommended your hair stylist! This makes me giddy to see a RUclipsr in my neck of the woods! I aspire to start my own Mommy channel very soon! Can't wait to see more videos!
I've been eating a ton of protein to keep me feeling full and gain healthy weight during my pregnancy: eggs, greek yogurt, chicken, beef, pork, salmon, shrimp, peanut butter, almonds, and pistachios are all good choices. I even eat protein bars when I'm on the go. Avocado is delicious, too. 😉
My pregnancy has definitely gone faster this time. I have a 5.5 year old and a 3 year old and we homeschool. We've also been doing a lot of work on our house lately so staying busy makes it fly by. In general I don't gain weight but I have no trouble with that in pregnancy especially this time haha. I also have more aches and pains this time so I'm just trying to keep moving (I'm a dance teacher so that's always fun as my body changes drastically lol).
27w4d here!! :) my stretch marks are getting quite a lot more.... obvious. I don't really care about it because I know there's not much that can be done to prevent them, and my mom had a lot with her pregnancies as well. my ribs hurt as well, and I get this cold feeling in my lungs (like after sprinting or a hard workout) when baby presses up there, so I try to take it easy. I get easily winded anyways, just walking lol I can't believe how fast this is flying by for me as well! :) I'm actually in escrow right now with our condo, while my husband is deployed, so I get the stress of packing everything on your own. it's busy busy busy :)
Healthy fats are great (I am obsessed with avocados)... But to gain weight you need carbs and meat! Chicken, rice, pasta (with meatballs or sausage), potatoes, sandwiches! Spinach, fruit, and avocados wont help you put on weight. Good luck :))
OmG first of all we have the same due date. I am so excited I am also having a baby girl. Wish you best of luck and hopefully u will gain healthy weight. tc
Have you talked with your dr about maybe a protein shake type of a thing? That would help with weight gain. Maybe like the ensure name brand (I think that's what it is) I've seen them at Walmart over by the medicine isles
The braxton hicks are a scare for me. I'm changing OBs actually for a different opinion. I've had several an hour for weeks now. Several a day I have to breathe through. the first OB wasnt worried at all but something just isn't feeling right so we will have to see.
I'll be 28 Weeks on Monday the 6th 😊 . I Totally get what you're saying about weight gain . On my last prenatal apt my midwife said I wasn't gaining weight but my tummy is growing lol so weird how that is 🤔 Btw love your pregnancy updates💞
With my last pregnancy i couldn't gain weight before I got pregnant I was weighting 150 during my whole pregnancy I lost so much weight I was weighting 120 and I would move from there I too skinny I didn't really have a bump until I was 35 weeks I ended having my baby at 37 thru csection because I couldn't gain and because my baby was not getting any weight neither he born weighting 5lb 1oz and 17 inch long . I would eat so much avocados and drink shakes that dr recommend I even had a meal plan but I wouldn't help me a lot i don't know what happened or why it was happening . After i had the baby I was weighting 113 but I sure didn't have any trouble gaining back weight I had lost lol I wouldn't stress so much about your weight not all pregnancy are the same . I'm pregnant again I'm 29 weeks today and I'm having a girl I been weighting 142 for 2 months already but my baby girl is at 85 percentile and is 3lb 4 oz so I don't worry about eating to much I was weight 147 before pregnancy and lost up to 13 pounds but I'm gaining back slowly.
I've gained 37 lbs in my pregnancy at 28 weeks. I'm having a healthy pregnancy & have been hungry since the end of the 1st trimester. I don't eat junk, so every woman has to do what is best for them. Eat when hungry!! Never starve.
Hey Natalie, I am almost 13 weeks pregnant and also live in the Greater Seattle Area. Do you know any good places around us to get bargains on maternity clothes? Also, my OB told me bananas can help with weight gain along with pistachios. So far in my pregnancy I've lost 13lbs. So I've been eating banana pistachio smoothies trying to put on weight.
Can you do an old wives tales? I know you did one but because you know the gender now you could tell us if they work or not! also eat nuts and meats and meat fats!!
I am 28 weeks pregnant today!!! Finally the last trimester!!! I gained over 30 pounds
I'm due 9th August with a baby boy xxx
Whoa😳 I’m 28 weeks and have gained 10 pounds
I’m 28 weeks and gained 23 pounds u ain’t alone sis. We’ll lose it hopefully 🙏

I weighed 130 before pregnancy and now am 28 weeks weighing 160 pounds
April Nickie UpLiftmentzzz lol same! i gained about 30 lbs already
Danielle Nesbitt were you obese? I hear obese women should only gain 10-15 pounds.
Although I am nowhere to get pregnant (not even already pregnant), I simply love your updates - it makes me so excited for your little baby girl 💕
Love from Slovakia 💕💕
I'm almost there!! I'm 27 weeks! and excited for the third trimester.
I love your Videos, are like a guide for me. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Oh, and also, if you like things like yogurt. The chobani Greek yogurt flips are really yummy! I've been enjoying those for my snacks lately!
Miriam Mince The PB&J Chobani flip is my fave! Yum yum!
I'm in week 28 and I've been struggling with maintaining a healthy diet and this has given me some more motivation to get myself sorted! I've been following these videos each week along with my pregnancy and also the progress of your gorgeous girly. So glad I found your channel :)

My 5 month old baby boy just watched your video with me and he was all smiles the whole time❤

Have you heard of the Brewer's diet? It's a pregnancy diet that helps you gain weight the right way.

you look great Natalie , I hope your feeling good in general & can't wait to see your daughter 💕💕💕
Eat nuts, nut butters, & avocados! Those are high calorie and healthy! Snack on those all the time.
Healthy fats are great (I am obsessed with avocados)... But to gain weight you need carbs and meat! Chicken, rice, pasta (with meatballs or sausage), potatoes, sandwiches! Spinach, fruit, and avocados wont help you put on weight. Good luck :))
Trail mix and granola! Easy to snack on in between meals and lots of healthy fats :)
OmG first of all we have the same due date. I am so excited I am also having a baby girl. Wish you best of luck and hopefully u will gain healthy weight. tc
Orgain shakes! They helped me gain when I was super super sick during pregnancy. Good luck ❤❤
nuts are key! and not just cashews but a variety of different ones, whatever you can get your hands on ;)
love your videos!! xx
Have you tried adding meal replacement shakes as a snack in between meals? I've known women who've used those to add calories to gain healthy weight.
Do the boys ever talk about your previous home? Look you beautiful in this video by the way!❤️ God bless you all xxx
You're beautiful mom.. what's your skin care routine po.
You are amazing! Love watching your videos
you look amazing!!
Have you talked with your dr about maybe a protein shake type of a thing? That would help with weight gain. Maybe like the ensure name brand (I think that's what it is) I've seen them at Walmart over by the medicine isles
Praying hard for weight gain!! :)
The braxton hicks are a scare for me. I'm changing OBs actually for a different opinion. I've had several an hour for weeks now. Several a day I have to breathe through. the first OB wasnt worried at all but something just isn't feeling right so we will have to see.
I love eggplant too... today is the 1st day of my 3rd trimester
I'll be 28 Weeks on Monday the 6th 😊 . I Totally get what you're saying about weight gain . On my last prenatal apt my midwife said I wasn't gaining weight but my tummy is growing lol so weird how that is 🤔
Btw love your pregnancy updates💞
Can you share a link for your fairy lights, please? :)

Hey Natalie! What lip colour are you wearing?
sweet potatoes, chickpeas, beans, lentils.. aka carb carb carb (the good ones)
wondering, how much did you gain with your twins pregnancy? and did you go full term?
Hey Natalie, I am almost 13 weeks pregnant and also live in the Greater Seattle Area. Do you know any good places around us to get bargains on maternity clothes?
Also, my OB told me bananas can help with weight gain along with pistachios. So far in my pregnancy I've lost 13lbs. So I've been eating banana pistachio smoothies trying to put on weight.
