Baker's "pocket presence" is nice. A guy like Jared Goff would have been sacked 9 times in the same situation... That said... he got kicked in the teeth all game... watched the Lions get a go-ahead TD... came right on the field and put the team on his back for a TD. He's the most fun player in the league to watch imo
Arguably the best play by the Bucs backup RT was jumping on the fumble when Bucs were in RZ. Saved 3 points. Rough otherwise. Tangential: that neon light design in the background with the subtle KB is damn cool.
Aiden Hutchinson is a beast. It’s unfortunate our starting right tackle was out and couldn’t him more of a competition. Defense did an unbelievable job limiting the lions in the red zone. Seemed like they confused the lions a lot on offense their game plan was all out of whack. Baker a dog and a winner. I’m so happy to have him here in Tampa.
I had the game all wrong. I assumed that Bowles would want slow the pace on Offense, quiet the crowd, and grind it out considering how depleted they were on Defense. Whether that was the plan or not, Hutch had a different plan, haha. If you hadn't watched the game, you might be scratching your head wondering how Tampa pulled it off given the unimpressive "stats"... but Baker put the team on his shoulders and made the most of a tough atmosphere.
Better roster.... this guy may know some x's and some o's. Roster wise bucs have the better offense, Bakers issue is pressure middle and not getting a deeper drop so he can see over the middle. His interception was just a terrible decision dB wasn't a dog.
I think the offense could be more effective with crossing routes with Godwin, Palmer, or Evans. Rollouts where Baker is effective in improvising and using his legs if nothing is there. I would also say they should run more spread packages with Evans, Godwin, McMillan, and Palmer at WR there are numerous routes they could use that would be mismatches for most defenses including Detroit if we play them again in the playoffs. I'd also use Otton to run up the seam or short security passes.
I don't think a mentality change was as big of a factor as simply our defense stepping up time and time again. Our offense really didn't do them any favors, especially at the end with time management and that pass on 3rd down that stopped the clock and allowed the Lions to have a minute plus a timeout.
I was thinking the same thing. If we can stay somewhat healthy & our Rookies & backups keep improving, I think we can play with & BEAT *any team* this year!
Bucs RT was a backup that got thrown into the starting job on Friday due to starter getting a concussion
And Luke was MISSED
Truth! Godeke did well against Aiden last season. He fed this game. Makes the win even better!

Love it
Browns fan here, I love and miss Baker. Such grit I love it! I watch the bucs games now!🎉

Thank you dude
i look forward to these everyday. NEED that kyler murray one tho!
On the way 🤝
Sacks are smelling salts for Baker 😆
😂😂😂
I love these breakdowns! And you’re right! Baker played well! Can you react to Baker vs Washington?

Justin Skulee did a awful job. I think he’s more of a 3rd string tackle

19:02 that dual block by Cade Otton was clutch!

Baler has all the same grit Dan Campbell has
Dude that juke by Baker was disrespectful 😂 Bucs fan here. Love to see it!
love your content :)
15 (McMillan) routes seems off this game. There were a lot of times he was in the same area as another receiver. Hopefully they clean that up.
Umm we definitely have better receivers hands down
Do you even know that's a backup RT 🤔 playing for the Bucs or did we just watch the tape and not get any other info about the Game
Please do a Bryce Young video. I'm still befuddled.
This is a game i think the Bucs lose last year the mentality with this entire bucs team is different this year and their QB is leading the charge

Baker is bad seeing the middle of the field
Kurt, wtf, why are you everywhere?
Do the saints
You do good when you're on good team
You speak English when English speaks you! Lol
It's not that simple.
I got just what he should have got
