I agree I really desperately want to learn but I cannot understand how to read a pattern . If I could watch a creator make a step by step tutorial fir a throw or blanket it would make my heart so very happy . I am disabled and cannot do many things but I can knit and I can do basic cricket stitches I just can't put them together to make anything and so I'm pleading with you please ,please help.
@AllAboutAmi I totally agree with @justmejust4553. Of all your published videos featuring the daisy square I couldn’t find a single one where you actually illustrate how to create the daisy and further, the whole square. You whizz over descriptions which are impossible to follow even slowing your videos down to 0.25x because your fingers cover half of your work. I purchased your daisy blanket pattern and that too is anything but clear, to me. My perception is that you’re a very talented individual in the crocheting craft. If teaching is part of your objective along with showcasing your work, I would ask your friends and family to make the projects you propose from your videos and .pdf. This would give you feedback about your teaching skills and what you need to learn and do to become an effective teacher. No point in sharing how-tos which don’t convey the how-to. This is the way I feel about your materials. I’m currently very disappointed and I would like to receive an actionable pattern which clearly explains and describes to me step by step what I need to do to make the daisy square from scratch for starters since it’s at the base of so many projects of yours. Since I purchased your daisy blanket pattern I’d expect clear instructions on how to assemble the daisy squares. For now, getting round understanding how to make the basic daisy square would begin to give me what I purchased. My perception is that you’re mean with your sharing of information and generous about showcasing your talent. I’m kindly asking you to amend and provide a detailed video on how to make the daisy square to support your .pdf daisy blanket pattern. Kind Regards.
what are you guys talking about? She has a video -the daisy bag where she shows exactly how to make those. This was my first time crocheting ever and it came out perfect
@@felicitywoodruffe4087 There are other tutorials on RUclips for learning. You have to look around. I am a newbie to crochet as well and I think it will help you. Make a collection of videos to watch later and your favorites and you can go back to them. Some of the RUclipsrs make money through selling their patterns, etc. However, there are plenty of “free” patterns to choose from as well. I wish you luck! Keep looking. 😊
I was just reading your pattern and was wondering about the “wrong side” vs the “right side”. Thank you for clarifying! My babushka is excited for her blanket!❤
Hi Ami, Thank you for sharing this tutorial. I love your daisy granny square blanket. I’ll definitely be adding it to my wish list of things to crochet 🧶 By any chance have you designed a mermaid tail blanket using the crocodile stitch? Take care and stay safe and well. God’s blessings to all 🙏🏼💗🧶😻🦋🐶
Thanks so much for the love! I have made a mermaid tail blanket using crocodile stitch, but I followed someone else’s pattern (not my own design). I made a blog post about it 🧶
Thanks so much for your kind words! I weave in the ends by crocheting over them and then weaving them in the opposite direction. I have a RUclips short showing this process!
In my newest cardigan video tutorial, you can see how I whip stitch the granny squares together (in the blanket, you would whip stitch the back loops together)!
really wish you made tutorial videos on complete follow along patterns. Love your style
Aww thank you! So far my “Breezy Days Daisy Bag” and “Summer Days Daisy Bag” projects have complete video tutorials 💕 I’ll keep your request in mind!
