- It was just another morning at the middle class household in north Kolkata. The daughter, who had made her parents proud by becoming a doctor and was studying further, was at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital for a long shift. Around 11.30 pm the previous night, she called her mother and spoke to her, as always. Her mother did not prolong the call. She would have, if she knew it was her last.

How shameful that they are informing the parents over the phone in this manner. The assistant super sounding cheerful in the first audio and even in the 3rd audio casually informing the parents their daughter has passed away likely by suicide. Its horryfying to even imagine the emotional agony the parents must have felt not knowing at first what had happenned and then learning she had died over a phone call...its just too horrific for the victim and her loved ones.
