The first thing I would make with this Portable Laser is a batch of 'Round Tuits ... you know, for all those people that never seem to get one 😂but really, as most of the other commenters imply, it looks like a good tool for marking coasters, key fobs, name cards, etc. Too bad the roller wasn't included at the time of your product review--would be nice to know if that works, as intended.

This portable laser would be a great addition to my maker toolbox. I'd like to make some custom table signs for my wife. She really enjoys entertaining and loves to put little signs for different food dishes out on the table. It's all in the presentation!

I think my first project with a portable laser would be to add some Dark Souls/Elden Ring inspired engravings to the Mandolorian Kit I’m working on for Fan Expo Denver!
Portable Laser it’s just fun to say! I would use it for engraving all kinds of stuff possibly my business cards.I would have to use it in a locked room with ventilation of course because my cat’s would go nuts! I could build a viewing booth and engrave the nameplate on the door.

I would portable laser some things portably. This would be such fun at parties, making coasters for the kiddos. I would also make a portable enclosure for it so they don't end up going blind.

John, good review - the good and the bad. I think a portable laser like this would be good at parties for on the spot tattoos, but maybe not. You and Jim need to start a desk channel - you could do the 3 legged ones, and he could do the wobbly
Yep! Most products are not perfect. However, this little laser was a lot of fun, mainly because the ease of use. Yeah, Jim and I should team up for some solid desk reviews! They are definitely hot right now! Especially the tripod desks!🤣
A mini-galvo portable laser, with a small foot print. My use for it would be for engraving and marking wearable anodized aluminum art.

Depending on what the phone is made out of. If the phone is metal, it will not engrave. However, you could do phone cases! Remember to properly vent. Good luck!

I have been seeing this PORTABLE LASER for some time. I think it would be a great little starter laser for me, before I get a larger one. I have some little custom engravings todo and have been thinking about getting some thing small. I do think it needs a shield to for protection.

If selected for Mx RUclips Comments, I would first consider some experiments at quick prototyping some casting forms. Would also like to see what it can do to various types of corrosion on different metals and how it performs at removal. Engraving could be alright, but I'd rather assess the ability to sinter with this. Would be fun to try laser etching through various metal layers like a penny and essentially laser carve it. As a last resort, I'd waterproof the internals and afix it to the heads of various sharks, because nothing says supervillain quite like sharks with PORTABLE LASERS!
