I hate to say it because they are twins but I feel like Fly is the reason why they sound like trash, the main reason is he has no flow because he doesn't rhyme so it just sounds off. Like you can tell that redd knows how to freestyle even if it sounds like a 6th grader talking.
@@frizzystorm879 I don't listen to much modern rap, but I've come to find that a lot of people write songs that don't rhyme or only superficially rhyme.
There's a guy from Australia that was featured in a song I liked, it sounded like the words that rhymed were in the middle of each sentence and not at the end like most people would do. It seemingly wasn't even due to it being a poor attempt at a multisylabic rap either.
I think the way these songs are being put together it sounds better than what it actually is. Some of the stuff this "Fly" dude is saying just sounds like the deranged ramblings of a junkie or an alcoholic. If he wants to not rhyme, it either needs to make sense or he needs to structure his lines better.
On the whole for being people that are supposed to be terrible, it sounds like everything else I'm used to hearing these days but I almost enjoy it. I am a fan of a lot of "amateur" rappers, so it might be my own bias.
